Fabulous family fun!
"I have just returned back from a stay in the Ola Club Bermudas hotel, with my son who is 3 years old. As a single parent, it is often a little daunting holidaying with a little one alone, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in this position. The staff were fabulous, particularly those running the 'mini club' and my son adored all of them. They were friendly, welcoming and happy to help in any way they could. The rooms were spotless and the food was varied enough to cater to most tastes. The majority of clientele there were French, but this served only to add a cosmopolitan feel to the hotel and I certainly did not feel marginalised as a result of being in the minority - The staff were excellent linguists and switched between languages with ease and my son is now able to sing songs in French and Spainish as a result of the diversity of guests! The hotel is also a stones throw away from the beach and a lovely playground. All in all, we had a lovely time and I would happily recommend this hotel, particularly to those with small children."

"we went to this hotel for a family break, from the moment me arriving i wanted to come home,it was full of french who were very rude and told uroffchildren for having fun around the pool, the food and staff were lovely, they said there was a kids club which was never on and didnt have any entertainment on the day 4 them, they did a kids disco at night which was 3 songs and thats it.they had music playing at the hotel which contained bad language which again isnt acceptable.my children are 9 and 3 and they shouldnt have been treated in the way they were by the french.i will not be visiting this hotel again. "have just come back from a stay here, dont get me wrong the hotel was lovely, staff were very helpful, pool area was lovely,
but if you want a holiday where everyone is french, the food is all french and want to be with rude people who state they dont understand and this is your place.
i have never been anywhere like this before, my 7 year old daughter got pushed out of the way that many times i was very discussed.
It was all catered for the french and if i had known this before booking i would of never gone.
also i was advised that it was a family hotel, well mini disco, what can i say, they did the same three songs everynight, the staff were lovely though,
If the hotel catered for the british a bit more then this would be a lovely place to stay,"

"We have recently returned from our holday at the Bermudas. My Grandson ( 12 ) loves this hotel, it was our fifth visit. The staff are friendly, the rooms spacious and spotless and it wasn,t too crowded around the pool. It is minutes from the beautiful beach and the buses to Palma and all the attractions stop outside the door. It is in a good location.
Since our last visit it has become a "French "hotel so the food is more suited to Europian tastes but was delicious. We will return."

lovely hotel! Loved it.
"This hotel is lovely, the staff are great and the facilities nice. the food is good but is geared to the french guests, not that we mind that. you dont go on holiday to eat fish and chips, do you!!! it was refeshing to be in a hotel with mainly French people they are lovely people and if you make the effort you get to meet people you would never have the chance to otherwise. much better than a hotel full of moaning drunk brits!!
it is very clean and i have to say the maids clean your room every day they were excellent.
go to this hotel if you want a relaxed and freindly holiday and if you are willing to try something new. dont go here if all you want to do is eat british food because you wont get it.
Loved it will be going back next year.
well done all the staff at this hotel."

"total waste of time from the day we arrived, we were all inclusive for a week and wouldnt wish this hotel on my worst enemy. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and thats as good as it got. the food was terrible to a point where i was forced to eat out most of the holiday and as you could imagine with three children this was very expensive and wasnt in our plans. 99% of the holiday makers were french and I found them to be very rude and abrupt especialy to my children. The entertainment was terrible as no expense was spared just three entertainers who ran the childrens club which just involved taking them to a building and giving them a drawing to colour in. arranging daytime and evening activities and they could speak very little english which again was a problem. The one night we decided to stay in the hotel because they had a parrot show the gentleman running it spoke english and the hotel entertainer spoke over him in french using the mic leaving us to lip read this hotel should not be offered to british people"

"we booked the holiday through jet2 holidays we actually booked the mimosa park but they sent us here why i dont no anway we were all inclusive so you expect to be holidaying in the complex but we couldn`t stay in the hotel as no-one spoke english everybody was french
the food, everything we had was smothered in garlic even tomatoes for breakfast
night times you can not sleep as there is a nightclub opposite (banana joes) which goes on till 4.00 . the last day you have to leave your room by 12.00 which is fine but there is no shower room, we were on the beach all day getting the last rays & swimming when we got back we found there was no where to have a shower had go in the toilets to change and have a wash
when i complained the receptionist just shurgged his shoulders
so if you are planning a trip be warned"

Good & Bad
"Just returned April/May 2007,
The good news is this hotel is in a fantastic location approx 4min's to the beach,it is very clean/modern/and staff very friendly, food was excellent/ drinks as much as you want with bar staff always on duty,(do not forget it is all inclusive),the rooms are spaciouse, but if possible book a room over-looking the pool as there is a disco/pub at the rear of the hotel, the pool/gardens were always clean/tidy,
The bad news is this hotel is taking bookings of STAG PARTIES,
we had a group move into the next room to us,and all i can say is im ashamed to say im british, they stayed up all night performing.banging /shouting/swearing,we called the night porter but this made no difference,we honestly did not sleep a wink all night, in the morning the staff did move us away but what would of happened if there was no rooms available ?in the day as soon as the bar was open they would start again shouting/dropping shorts/etc ,etc, so if you want a relaxing break i would think twice about booking this hotel,
It is a shame though that the english YOBS can spoil this lovely hotel, and the wonderfull staff ."

Geared up for French, but don't let that put you off
"We have just returned from this hotel (July), and chose it over the ones in Magalluf as we didn't fancy hens, stags, and general hooligans ruining the holiday. Not that we didn't want to have a few drinks and a good time however, but all of the hotels we checked out in Magalluf, all seemed that way inclined, and besides, if you're after a bit of nightlife, anywhere in Palma Nova is never really more than 10 mins walk from the bars of Torrenova/Magalluf.
Firstly, we were very pleased with this hotel's location, right beside the beach, and loads of restaurants, shops etc, on it's doorstep. There was a very lively bar opposite called Banana Joes too. It was all of 10 mins walk from the marina in Palma Nova and 2 mins from the beach. 10 minutes along the front sees you in Torrenova where some more lively karaoke bars are, and then 2 minutes later you're in Magalluf. It sort of blends into one really, and it's a lovely walk down the beach front.
The hotel looks slightly dated from the outside, but seems to have had a refit in recent years - the blast of cool air in the smart reception is just fantastic when you're smouldering after a day on the beach. A/C is also in the room, and this was left on most of the day (by carefully inserting any piece of plastic from your wallet into the slot - unless you want to lock yourself out). The rooms themselves were clean, functional and comfy, had a safety deposit box (2 euros a day + key deposit), and there was a tv (couldn't find the remote all week, and the buttons on the box didn't work - we were just unlucky, but I don't go on hols to watch Sky Sport and BBC News 24 - and I diagress). Oh yes, we were on the first floor, and our balcony was a whopper.
This is not a hotel that British travel companies use, demonstrated by the overwhelming population of French. All of the Spanish staff primarily spoke French to guests, but were able to communicate happily enough in English. It was nice not to have lots of undesirable and embarrassing tattooed British "guests" dotted around, yawping off, swearing, dive bombing, playing terrible music from stereos and constantly reading British tabloids, wearing peak caps sideways and forgetting how to tie shoe laces on their trainers.
We stayed All Inclusive, and drinks flowed from 10.30am until 11pm. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were all provided and there was a good selection, always comprising of cold and hot foods, and a variety of different meats, and puddings. Chips were always available (after breakfast), which the kids seemed to devour with nothing else. Also there were crisps, ice cream, toast and other picketies available at any time. The dining area was relatively small, but the flow of people seemed to come and go so this never caused a problem. There certainly was no rush to get in the moment the doors opened.
The swimming pool was very good, but the sunloungers were generally "towelled up". One day we saw an entire side of the pool with loungers furnished only by towels with their owners nowhere to be seen. Having said that, even though we never got to the pool until mid-morning, there usually was an available bed or two, so a bit of shuffling did the trick. The pool was definitely far busier in the afternoon, and the French "entertainers" tried to get people involved in some sort of ball game in the pool, or bools/darts out of it. A tennis court sat largely unused at the back of the hotel also.
Speaking of entertainment, well, it was pretty shocking in the evening. The trouble with All Inclusive is that people feel obliged to stay at the hotel so when we came out from dinner, we clocked everybody was just sat around watching some cheesy rendition of Grease or some kids playing a "pass the hat" game - if not kids it was adults passing a crash helmet, so that was even more cringeworthy. Needless to say we downed a free beer and strolled off into either Palma Nova or Magalluf for a more entertaining night of carnage.
All in all, don't be put off by this hotel, it's fine, unless ofcourse all you want to be is British and hang around the pool day and night expecting a load of other fellow countrymen to make an embarrasment of themselves. Mallorca, and the location this place is in is totally wasted if that's what you want your holiday to be.

This hotel is fantastic. It is a French...
"This hotel is fantastic.
It is a French hotel, but as the only English guests there, we were made to feel very welcome and confortable.
The food choice was fabulous, hot, cold, savory and sweet.
The staff loved us and our children.
The entertainment was very good, and they would say something in French, but then repeat it in English. It is a small hotel, so you feel very at home.
The room was huge, and we had a good sized balcolny too, which over looked the pool.
The entertainers were brillinat, so thank you to Achraf, Romain, and my favourite - Alex!!
Anyone who complains about this hotel must have a huge stick up their ass!!
We were made aware of the fact it is mostly catered for the French, but we went anyway, and we are so glad we did.
All the staff were fluent in English. Service was fantastic, and if you had a problem, they couldn't have been more helpful!!!
Thank you for a fantastic holiday!!!"
