Gala Hotel Can Pastilla
"We have stayed in the Gala several times. Initially were take aback by its basic decor but it is what it is. Ok, the hotel is basic, but that is reflected in the price. We found the staff polite, friendly and accomodating. The room is cleaned every day, with fresh towels, and the cleaners are friendly too. The breakfast is continental and there are meats available along with the veg type foods, as well as cereals, which you will find in all the other hotels, you can usually find what you want. There is a small pool but you can use the one in its sister hotel across the road, which is bigger and the beech is less than 2 mins away. The rooms have air conditioning & a safe."

"Where to start !! Well for brekkie in the gala there was a choice of blamanche, cakes, asparagus, beansprouts, salad or cold veg soup!!! And Iâm not joking either . This is without doubt the worst place i have ever stayed and Iâm not choosy we were the only English couple there; the staff were ignorant and rude we found the resort really smelly because of the drainage system. The only good thing was our room was clean and because of the bad weather we spent a lot of time there.
We did find a fab bar called cambells run by a lovely Scottish woman who does a yummy full English brekkie she also does a delicious meal called pa amb oli. Its toasted homemade brown bread rubbed with olive oil and garlic and tomatoes served with Parma ham and cheese mmmm. So all in all if your just booking a room its ok but other wise stay well clear also the pool is tiny and shared between 3 hotels so you cant really get in as thereâs only 9 sunloungers and 2 table and chairs can fit around it. Good luck!!
