"Most efficient and friendly staff. Great room with balcony and beautifully tiled bathroom. Food breakfast and dinner very good. A well run hotel where guests are well catered for by a thinking progressive family."

Great food and service
"Stayed for 3 days at the hotel cala san vincente and found standards extremely high and very good value for money. All the staff are charming, friendly and offer high standards of professsional service, and make you feel that they genuinely want you to relax and enjoy the experience of staying there. Attention to detail is amazing and the pool and poolside facilities first class. The formal restaurant is rated as on of the best in Majorca and we enjoyed two memorable meals there, the trattoria is less formal, less expensive but still offers very high standards. The bedrooms are large and with balconies and very well appointed."

"The hotel was clean and the rooms very well presented. In addition, the food was of a very high standard and the hotel is well located, very near the beautiful Cala San Vicenc bays. However, the hotel lacked atmosphere and seemed to be rather joyless in most respects. I enjoy relaxing, but I prefer to do so in an environment which is friendly, serene and pleasant. However, I often felt very uncomfortable in an atmosphere which seemed to be full of staff who -whilst friendly - were over stretched. In addition, there was a continual feel that you were 'on show' and just not able to relax and enjoy your holiday, even in a quiet way. This hotel would appear to suit someone who does not specifically enjoy the beautiful island of Mallorca in any way, but instead prefers to just 'get through it' and be grateful they are staying in a place where they will not be disturbed. All in all, I did not feel I got value for money."

"We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in August, and thought it was great. From the moment we got there we were made to feel very welcome - service is friendly and efficient, our room (a junior suite) was extremely comfortable with a spacious balcony and comfy sofas and chairs. What really makes it though is the food, which was exceptionally good - we had two dinners in the main restaurant and thought it was of the highest quality with fantastic ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. Ditto lunch and breakfast.
I was surprised about the reviewer who questioned whether children under 14 were allowed at the hotel - this is undoubtably a family hotel in the school holidays - it has a childrens pool as well as the main one and there were lots of children. The pool area is relatively small so might be a problem (we left our 3 year old with grandma for the weekend so are relatively immune to the noise of small children) - my view is if you don't want kids don't come in school holidays! I think the hotel would be very peaceful at other times.
The fishing village is rather spoilt by a monstrous hotel on the shore but otherwise pleasant enough - we love Pollensa and surrounding area and were quite happy to relax in the hotel the rest of the time. In summary - thought it was great, would certainly go back"

Small friendly hotel - good food
"We stayed at the Cala Sant Vicente Hotel 8th to 15th July 2006.
The hotel itself was lovely, the staff friendly, professional and efficient at all times. Both restaurants were excellent, the service and food great.
I was however very dissappointed with the number of children at the hotel - I was under the impression they did not accept children under 14 years and we struggled to find a child over 14 years old. There were at least 5 families with children which is a lot in a small hotel and apart from the pool there is nothing for kids - I would never take mine somewhere like this. On the whole the kids were very well behaved but a couple of families completely monopolised the pool area, were noisy and bad mannered and I'm afraid that spolit it for us. We have visited many Relais & Chateux hotels and although the hotel deserved this accolade for accomodation and food we would not return for fear of the same experiences."

Quiet and relaxing
"A very nice hotel. We stayed in a superior room which was large and had a balcony facing towards the street. Not much traffic. Large pool with comfortable sunbeds. The staff was excellent. We had breakfast (continental) in the room without any cost. Nice Italian restaurant on the hotels first floor. We stayed for 5 days just relaxing by the pool, but we heard the beach was nice too. I would recommend a car so that you can take a brief look to other places. The town is small and boring, but for our purpose it was perfect. A romantic place for a fairly young couple!"

"We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing 10 days at this hotel The juniour suite room on the third floor was lovely. An oasis to return to after a day sight-seeing. The food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We would certainly recommend this hotel."

"We had never travelled to Mallorca before but with cheap flights from nearby Stansted, decided to give it a try. Decided on this hotel on a balance of price, facilities and reviews. We were not disappointed even though we booked the cheapest type of room. Room was very comfortable and had every amenity required. Superb room service. Superb restaurant with a wonderful breakfast we were able to enjoy in the open air even in mid October. The Hotel even left a box of chocolates in the room on my birthday! We enjoyed a free drinks reception on one evening hosted by two of the brothers from the family who own the Hotel and both spoke to us. On One evening we had dinner at the sister Hotel, the Son Brull on the outskirts of Pollenca, again superb. I want to go back!!"

"This is a great, family run hotel on the pretty northern coast of Majorca. The standards of service and food are superb, especially in the hotel restaurant, the Cavall Bernat. My partner and I have been going there off-season for five or six years and it has always been wonderfully tranquil - a great place for a relaxing break or perhaps a long weekend.
The resort of Cala St Vincenc is a small village, spoiled only by two large hotels around the two pituresque bays. Walking nearby is superb."

"This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. It is quite simply an oasis of peace and tranquility with friendly and efficient staff and excellent service.
It is the added attention to detail that makes this hotel so special - like the note from the chamber maid to say when the room would be made up each day and to request a different time if this was not convenient. We were served home made fruit sorbet by the pool to counteract the heat and the displays of fresh flowers were a delight.
The rooms are well appointed and beautifully furnished and the pool and gardens delightful. The food is excellent whether it be a snack by the pool or in the restaurant or trattoria.
If we could transport this hotel to other locations around Mallorca we would!

"We took a chance on this place to celebrate 25 years of marriage. We wanted a quiet, well appointed hotel with staff that where both freindly and efficient. We wanted good food and drink and a comfortable room with good views. We wanted easy acces to both the resort and neighbouring Pollensa. We wanted a small well run cafe/bar with good food for lunch and a reasonable priced pint near by (bar majorca).
We got the lot. A great little hotel with some lovely suprise touches."
