Fabulous, as always!
"This was my 3rd visit to this hotel, absolutely loved it just like the previous two times. This hotel really does have something for everyone; the location is perfect as it is just a 5 minute walk from the town- packed full of souvenir shops and fantastic restaurants suiting a wide variety of nationalities. The hotels itself was superb- the facilities were excellent and all the hotel staff were as friendly as always. The entertainment was brilliant- had a great time viewing it every night and found the entertainment team to be ever so friendly- they really took an interest in the holiday makers and their backgrounds. If you're looking for a holiday that has welcoming people, a brilliant location and stunning views- Cala Azul Park really does hit all the criteria!"

We have just been for a weeks holiday to...
"We have just been for a weeks holiday to this lovely resort. Me, my husband, son who is 16, his 19 year old friend, my Mum and 89 year old Grandma and we all loved it. First off the Cala Azul Park is clean and the staff friendly. When we got there I asked for accomodation downstairs for my Mum and Grandma and this was done without any fuss. The apartment was comfortable with a bath/shower room and one bedroom, lounge, small kitchen (we only used for snacks and tea/coffee making). The maids cleaned and changed beds and towels regularly. We could sit on our balconies and see the sea very picturesque. We were near the pool and reception area and a short walk to shops and bars.We were just far enough away not to be disturbed at night by revellers. The pool area had plenty of loungers and there was even a small sandy beach within walking distance if you wanted to get away from all the splashing and noise of the pool. Here you can hire loungers and parasols for 3.40 euros each per day. We stayed at the pool side as we all love swimming. The main beach which is a small inlet is a 5 min walk away but is down lots of steps but these are not steep so are do-able we went twice but it did get crowded quick. We went self catering so do not know what the hotel food was like. Someone had recomended taking a travel kettle and we are glad we did as cooking facilities are basic. When eating out it pays to shop around. We found a lovely friendly restaurant called Karen II that did well cooked food and lots to choose from, from about 4 euros upwards. We found a bar called Carabel that had happy hour from 8-10pm every night buy one drink get one free so this kept us going for a couple of hours plus the owner is a mad karaoke fan so the entertainment was fun, they also had sky tv so the footy fans were out enjoying themselves. The local Spa shop provided us with drink to take to our apartment that was very reasonable. The walk to the main shops etc is 10 mins and good for duty free shopping. We saw the entertainment twice at the hotel, Sister Act and Rocky Horror Show and the effort that went into these was a credit to the entertainment team who also did sports in the day. The water polo was favourite with our two teenagers. There was bingo at 5pm when you also had happy hour buy one drink get one free including wine, beers cocktails and milkshakes which my Grandma and I loved. Only one thing is that prices have increased for food and drink but so has the quality and isnt much more than we pay here. All in all we wanted to stay longer than a week and would go back any time."

Just got back from a fab holiday at this...
"Just got back from a fab holiday at this resort and these apartments. The apartments are 1st class in my opinion, very clean, spacious, air con, large balcony which you can get to from the bedroom or lounge area, basic kitchenette (but who cooks on their hols!), cleaners are very thorough,a decent size bathroom, tv (mainly german and spanish channels the odd english one, on the whole I would say impressive. The pool area was very nice there always appeared to be plenty of beds,to the left of the pool area(we were in block D) theres a bar/snack area, behind this there is a sunbathing area with beds if you aren,t bothered with the sea. A further rfew yards you come to the Esmerelda beach, a beautiful setting, extremely clear, in fact we saw either a large squid or small octopus on the bottom of the sea, loads of fish, snorkelling is a must, but the only reason I didn,t give it 10/10 is because there aren,t any sunbeds by the sea, there are some as you walk down the beach if you go to the right they are on a platform, you are still on the beach sort of but I am fussy and like a bed right by the sea, therefore a lilo is a must if you like to be next to the sea,it does get very busy we found if we went down about 2.30/3.00 you could get a pitch quite close to the sea so as to get a bit of breeze because it was very hot at the bak of the beach.Nightlife, there was loads to do,didn,t see much at the complex we had teenagers so it wasn,t realy there scene but about 15mins stroll away we found the tropical gardens who had entertainment and food available. We saw Robbie Williams, The Temptations,Rock Evolution and Abba again (all tributes obviously, but very good). Also as you come out from the reception to the top of the road if you take a right you find Carabels, this was the only bar that we found a Happy Hour in it was bogof between 8 and 10 and then the fun began, all I will say is Mammy and the Mimmic man, go and find out it was good fun, and not far to crawl home.Food,we tried a couple of places but the best place for value for money, friendliness of the staff, and fast service, and of course tasty food was the Duke of Devonshire, their sunday roast was mouth watering and their salads were massive and the sangria went down very well!!!On the whole a lovely place to go you can either stay close to homeor venture into town which was 15 to 20 mins stroll away, we will be going back at some stage, give it a try, it will be worth it.."

A fantastic holiday!
"This hotel has everything!! Perfect location, facilities, and staff! We spent two weeks here (4adults &4 children), and a great time was had by all. All the staff in the hotel work so hard to keep the hotel very clean and well maintained, and still found time to smile and be friendly to guests- nothing is a problem for them! The location of the hotel is perfect- very picturesque with beautiful views of the sea and the cove. It was also great to be so close to the heart of Cala D'or with the shops, restaurants and fun parks for the children. The food was very varied and delicious, and hygiene was of a high standard in all the restaurants and snack bars. We loved Happy Hour, and loved the waiter who jumped about the bar with the microphone! The children thoroughly enjoyed the mini disco and by the end the adults were joining in too! And we just HAD to buy the CD!!!!!! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all, especially to families with children and teenagers. Lots of people we spoke to visited this hotal year after year, and I can see why. Hopefully we will be returning at some point in the future!"

Just returned after a 2 week stay with m...
"Just returned after a 2 week stay with my wife and 2 children aged 14 and 13. The apartments were in a hotel complex and were spotlessly clean. The towels and bed linen were changed regularly and the hotel staff were very friendly. You have to get up about 7:30 to get your towels on the sun loungers around the pool otherwise there were none available. The complex is situated about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Cala Dâor which suited us, as it was a bit quieter. A taxi ride into town was only 5 Euros. The food in the restaurants around the Marina was excellent and very good value for money, we ate at the S'ancora restaurant which was superb. We didn't eat at the Hotel but it did look good as well. There is a take away available in a restaurant just by the hotel which was great for snacks etc. There is also a supermarket by the foyer which is open 7 days a week till 10pm at night. The Starfish boat trips were superb and a must for everyone. The Pirates night out is also a must although a bit hectic. Went to the waterparks by Magaluf which again were very good. We didn't bother hiring a car as we used the local buses to get about. The Island is quite big and didn't fancy the long journeys, as the traffic was quite busy as it was probably the busiest 2 weeks of the year. Anyone going to this complex should have a great time."

Great holiday for our family
"Date of stay 9th-19th July 2007 Booked on internet. Just returned from Cala Azul Park with my wife and two children, 14 and 9. We had a great holiday and the complex and accomodation fabulous. We stayed in a 1 bedroom self catering apartment, small but adequate, which was exceptionally clean with maid service 5 out of every 7 days. The swimming pool and surrounding area was immaculate but unless you went before 8am there was no chance of a sunbed due to all having towels on them. Beach at ajoining Esmarelda Park (acroos small road) very good but became very busy throughout the day. Reception staff were very helpful but we had to ask if they run any trips as this was not advertised anywhere. They had a comprehensive range of trips with a descriptive price guide and tickets could be purchased at reception but not always the cheapest. Choise of outdoor & indoor entertainment every night but rotated weekly. There were plenty of surrounding restaurants with ample choices. There are always little things to be critisised but nothing major worth mentioning. All in all a great holiday and I would recommend this as a good family resort."

Fantastic place to stay
"We have just returned from a fantastic holiday. The Hotel/apartments ae fantastic for a 3* complex. We requested a sea view and it was amazing. The complea is a short walk into Cala D'or however it is a nice walk and the harbour is a must to see. A little train does go into the centre of Cala D'or but we did not use this. The pool is lovely and there is more than one, within the complex and the beaches are very clean however due to the time of year the sea was very cold. The resort is very focused on famlies and not much for teenagers however it is lovely to spend time to unwind and recharge. We went for a massage and this was reasonable and lovely to unwind more. We have no children but did notice the childrens club which all children seemed to be enjoying. We are mid twenties and we enjoyed the relaxing nature of Cala D'or and the fantasic food (however we did not eat in the hotel). I would return to this complex."

THE place to stay!!!
"just spent the 1st week of october at cala azul park, the best place we've ever stayed in europe! The cleanliness is second to none, only 3 storeys high. We asked travel agent for ground floor and pool view which is what we got plus sea view. The rooms are extremely high standard and the staff very helpful. Several pools, and the complex is huge including the esmeralda but not overpowering. We would definitely return there as we love cala d'or. Also visited cala egos one evening near the marina to see some friends, this is a smaller town but extremely nice. Loads of good places to eat. #the best english breakfast is at Duke of Devonshire, and don't miss the American Rib joint near the Hollywood bar, amazing food there. Ate out every night and did not have one poor meal. The Chinese restaurant just round the corner from Azul Park is excellent too. Lots to do for everyone. Next time we go we will get a taxi from the airport as the transfer time at this time of year by coach (both arriving and returning) was far too long due to drop offs and pick ups. For some reason when we went there in june/july this was much shorter. Moira and Steve, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire."

"Spent 2 weeks in Cala D'or staying at the Azul Park in Sept '06 This complex is kept amazingly clean and tidy - they even wash the bins and the lamposts! Facilities and staff are superb. Location is also the best in Cala Do'r - away from any noise and just 5-10 minutes walk from the main bars and restaurants area. If you are considering staying at the Azul / Esmerelda complex then try and obtain a room in the Azul Park or Esmerelda Park blocks as the Azul Gardens and Ezmerelda Gardens blocks are not in quite as good locations. Looking for a good price meal - try the Es Caliu in town - three courses from the menu of the day, including wine or water (before 7.30pm) - 9 Euros! GH - Hertfordshire"

E X C E L L E N T !!!!
"We have just returned from Azul Park, had two fabulous weeks. Stayed there last year, and were so impressed, best accomodation in the resort. Apartments brilliant, very clean, clean towels every day, bedding changed regularly. all staff very helpful and friendly. Pools and sunbeds cleaned daily. Excellent terrace cafe / bar. with beautiful view across bay. Beach couple of mins away. Weekly barbecue. Good range of daily activities for adults / children. In a quiet position, just off main road, but less than 5 mins from shops bars restaurants, so best of both worlds. Good play areas close by for children. Shouldn't really recomend it really, as it's a little secret jewel in Cala D'or. Perfect for families / couples. Loca bus stops just outside to take you to various resorts/ attractions. Also little road train stops outside, will take you to Cala Egos next door, another nice area, a bit quieter. Glass bottom boat trip leaves from beach by the apartments, good fun. D E F I N A T E L Y going back! Pat & Les McKie LIVERPOOL"
