"Returned from our hols on Monday after having 10 great nights at the Don Carlos..everything for us was just great..room.comfy bed.food and we had wall to wall sunshine for the whole time we were there...The Don Carlos is a great hotel, just a short stroll into the resort that has lots to see and do, and we did most of it..but we will return to do the bits we didn't manage to do! The hotel is spotless and the staff very helful..especially Irene on reception..Well done to you all throughout the hotel, you all work very hard to keep your hotel so good!..please keep up the good work and your reputation. Thanks for making our holiday very special...Local buses are great we travelled a lot on them..Portinax..Es cana..Ibiza town (fab|)Sant Antonio (amazin sunset at café Mambo) visit to Playa den bossa for a catchup with our daughter..thats the place to go if you want very lively! Formentor boat trip, great value from the harbour..We also did the Fiesta meal exchange wish is a great idea when exploring! As you can see we were very busy but had lots of opportunities to relax by the pool and on the beach and had a few walks out..all in all a great holiday..I hope this all helps..oh and the Mariner bar just over the little bridge was great, we saw some great entertainment. Good food but cramped rooms
"Grandparents and granddaughter of 10years, travelling with Portland. We stayed for one week at the Fiesta Don Carlos, Santa Eulalia 23rd to 30th October 2010. It was the last week of the season before they closed for the winter. We were fortunate to have great weather every day. POSITIVES: Quiet this time of the year, Hotel probably only a quarter full. Good choice of well presented and prepared food with lots of fish. Staff allows you to take your own wine into the dining and entertainment rooms rather than pay 3 or 4 times more for the same wine bought in the Hotel. An entertainment team of two openly gay lads with a great sense of humour. We found all but one member of staff pleasant and helpful. NEGATIVES: Slow check-in process with a member of staff who kept telling me my house at home must have a number, not a name! We arrived at the Hotel 10.45am and were told our room would not be available until 1.00pm. When I complained to the Thompson rep. he was very off hand about it and told me to think myself lucky as 3pm was the official time rooms were available from. Our room for 3 people was a room for 2 people with an extra bed in it and was therefore extremely cramped. Poor quality amateurish evening entertainment. The area by the sea in front of the Hotel was dirty and rundown. The beach in front of the Hotel was unusable due to the amount of see weed on it. (See picture) The wooden boards around the pool are a hazard for children as they get so slippery when wet. All inclusive option for drinks only per person £15 a day!!!!!! Not a lot for children to do."

U will enjoy yourself here...
"OK - Regs the 2 out of 10 dude - that your opinion and must be respected. But I know that most people would be more than happy with the set-up here. I relate to the gripes that he had but they weren't an issue for me + i'm a bit of a moan.(For example they gave me a room with no seaview, I requested one with and they accommodated me). Food was good, nice atmosphere, near fairly quiet beach, nice pool with daily activities timetable, entertainment was good, Nothing about this hotel is amazing (3 star) but it is a good to very good hotel. The town of Santa Eulalia is a 10 minute walk with various options on the way and enjoyable.. b happy here a nice place to be with ancient ibiza gypsy market twice weekly in a neighbouring town (although some bits commercial). Regs the departure room - it is stupid but just ask someone you get to know to leave luggage in their room - that's what a couple asked us to do and my son was a fiver up. The best thing about the hotel is Wiliam?? (Belguim guy) - he's the entertainer and all round great guy who has the great gift of bringing people together. Sorry for ripping your shorts Wiliam at waterpolo."

Best holiday ever!
"I have just come back from Ibiza on the 17th of July. I have been to this resort 3 times now and will make it my 4th visit next year. I am 15 years old and i love this hotel because there is plenty to do throughout the day E.g. children and adult activites, sun bathing or just a simple swim in the pool. The shops are only a 5 minute walk away from the hotel and the beach is right next door so this is a perfect setting for a perfect holiday for kids and adults. The staff are really friendly and the reps make the holiday much more enjoyable as they are easy to talk to and are always up for a laugh with the other staff and hotel guests. If you have a water sport addiction then there is a jetskii and boat hire place on the beach next to the mariena which is also a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel also has a scuba diving company that visits, you can have a scuba experience in te pool and if that doesn't tickle your taste buds then they also take you out to the sea to scuba around one of Ibiza's islands to sea many forfilling sights that will stick in your memory forever. The Hotel itself is in amazing condition and is always spotless. The rooms are cleaned everyday also including new bed sheets and towels. The food is exquisit as they always have different food choices from Italian to Chinese, all of which are fresh and delightful. I am very much looking forward to my visit next year and i am already eeger to book the tickets. I would advise this hotel to all age ranges! See you soon Don Carlos!"

Don Carlos & St Eularia
"Have just returned after 2 weeks at the Don Carlos we were a party of 7 between 69 & 15 yrs old, this is the 2nd year here & it is still GREAT, from reception when booking in, the dining room staff, the bar staff, & even the room maids , all excellent & friendly . The meals, big variety as much as you want. The entertainment was fairly basic only 3 caberet acts in 2 weeks but it was near the end of season, but Win the fiesta entertainer kept it going with activities all day & at night his Zapping show & Dirty dancing kept everyone up watching till bedtime. The hotel is spotless & kept so. The walk to town can be a bit much for the less agile, but well worth it, the prom is kept clean although the locals dont seem to know about doggie poo bags . Whilst in town a visit to the Mirage restaurant by the marina is well worth a visit. Will our party go back ??? straight answer YES we are in the process of booking for 2009 "

"Just come back from a lovely sunny week in St Eulalia.Hotel was excellent.Room was very comfortable and quiet.Lovely position right on the beach and a pleasant traffic free stroll into town. The staff were all very kind and friendly and there was plenty going on for those who enjoy quizzes and games etc.The meals are all buffet service which can be a bit hectic but is what you can expect in Spanish hotels nowadays. We would definately stay there again."

"Just returned from an 11 night holiday to Ibiza and stayed at the Don Carlos hotel. There was plenty of food and a large choice i must admit, but as for quality and taste it was awful!!! The rooms were very tired looking, and after asking specificallly for a pool view we never recieved it and on numerous occassions of asking the reception staff they ignored our request. I think it is appoling that you have the pay for the use of the safe, fridge and iron. The only thing that the hotel were intrested in was how the could make extra money from you. In addition to having to pay extra for everything, there was also the choice of keeping the room extra for an additional 54 euros (what a joke)!!!! So instead they offered a couresty room, it is like a prsion cell, awful awful awful, its was full of grime and so mucky, it is only a room with a shower, sink and toilet! (Again an additional fee for using the hotels towels. There was no night life what so ever which is a crying shame because there were some many people that commented on how fab the place would be with a little night life. As for the staff being pleasent, i found them very rude and unhelpful."

"Just come back from a weeks holiday at this hotel. The food is great and i would defy anyone to say different. Location is super just 5mins away from bars and restaraunts and 10 mins to main resort which is laid back, and which you get to by walking along the promenade, very relaxing. If you are looking for a time to chill, then this place is fine. Water taxis to Ibiza town reccomended. Only down side is there is not much going on in the evening, unless you like bingo and quizzes. So you would have to venture away from the hotel after dark."
