Thank you, Hotel Club Augusta!
"A 30 Euro taxi ride from the airport, brought us to the lovely Club Augusta. This hotel is situated about 30-40 minutes walk from the very pretty resort of Santa Eulalia. A typically Spanish town with nice shops and restaurants. With a very nice marina, this made for a nice place for an after dinner stroll and drink. In the other direction is the small resort of Es Caner. From the hotel, it is a 15-20 minute walk. Taxi to Es Caner cost 6-7 Euros and to Santa Eulalia cost 9-10 Euros. The Hotel Club Augusta is deserving of a higher rating than its 3 stars. This hotel caters for all age groups. Our party consisted of, 2 adults 60 plus, 3 adults over 30 and two children (6 and 11). We requested 3 rooms overlooking the pool and sea and the additional cost was well worth it. Rooms were very clean and spacious with balcony. Cool reception area with friendly staff. Set just yards from the beach, with lovely large grounds. Pool for the children and plenty of sun beds. The large restaurants catered for all tastes. Buffet style with a salad section, hot (with Meat, Fish and pasta) and a dessert section 'to die for'! We chose the full board option, as we knew that we would be at the hotel most of the time due to the children not wanting to leave the pool. We paid extra and had water and wine with lunch and dinner. We found this to be good value. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. The Mini Club kept our 6 year old grand daughter happy. Our 11 year old grandson spent a lot of his time in the pool and enjoying the entertainment laid on by the super Animation team, led by Tim. This group of young men and women, worked hard offering water polo/ boules/ tennis/football/volleyball/games for those who wanted it. Tim also organised the evening entertainment, on the whole was very good. Outside the hotel, there are several bars and a couple of small 'supermarkets'. A little walk along the path towards SE is a couple of beach bars. It is over 40 years since our previous visit to Ibiza but it will be only 6 months until our next visit. Without doubt, we will go back to the Hotel Club Augusta. Thanks to Hotel Director, Juan and his team for making this a superb family holiday to remember. ."

"I was very impressed with the club augusta, i was there with my partner and young child (15 months) we were there on a bed and breakfast basis. the rooms were nice and clean, decent sized balcony and the beds were made and towels changed every morning......breakfast was good with various choices, cereals, yoghurts, bacon, sausage, eggs etc etc. We didnt have an evening meal so couldnt comment on that. The hotel staff were pleasent and the entertainment staff were always in attendence without been too much in your face and a simple "no thanks" to any of there activities was ample. The only negative point was we felt he hotel was a little isolated it was a half hour walk to santa Eulalia and 20mins to Es Canar but we had car hire and found it an excellent base to explore the northern side of the Island......i would recomend this hotel to anybody who just wants to get away and relax for a week or 2."

Beginning of season 2010
"We were the 2nd couple to arrive on 1st May 2010, first day open. We were very happy with our first impressions of the hotel and its ground, and it only got better. The view from our room was fantastic. The pool area great. The food was not only edible but also very enjoyable and in great quantities. The staff were very helpful and good company. Everything provided was worthy of 5 stars, but the hotel lacked some amenities for wet days (one day we had storms and very heavy rain), This could be improved with things such as a pool table / table tennis table. This is a quiet part of the island, exactly what we wanted. The hotel was perfect for us. So we are looking forward to going back next year."

"We stayed at Club Augusta from 1May - 4 May and I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The hotel had only opened on the day of our arrival and was absolutely spotless, the staff excellent and food superb. On our first night we had a choice of fish, lamb, stak which the chef cooked in front of us. It desrves to be a 4 star hotel. The facilities and positon on the beach is great. We will definately be back. Overall excellent value for money"

lovely hotel for relaxing, and great for kids. clubs??? far far far
"it was a lovely week at hotel club augusta, speacially if u rent a car and go with the family, staff were very helpful and tried their best to speak SOME FORM of ENGLISH lol. the areas next to es canar and santa eularia were amazing, nice food and cafes .... etc it was a great holiday, the only downside (as it was my first time to ibiza) is that the hotel is a bit far from the big clubs pacha, amnesia and all that, but now i know how to get there, its easy and made the trip kind of an adventure to locate the clubs :) and cheap just a few euros. will defenitly go again.... ps lots of italian, french and german, but didnt really bother me as i was in the sea or pool all day long ;)"

"Just returned from a week at Club Augusta. I cannot complain about anything. The hotel was spotless, staff very friendly - nothing is too much trouble. There is a good selection of food available. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a three star but should be a four."

one of my best holidays ever!
"I have just returned from a one week stay at the augusta and i would definately recommend it to anyone. Apparently this hotel used be a club 18-30 venue, which is why there is little to be found about it on the internet. We found this out once we were there, but please do not let this put you off. The hotel is located between Es Cana and Santa Eulalia, we walked to both the first taking about 20 minutes and the latter being about an hour over the coastal path, or 45 mins on the main road. There are bus services, but even in the middle of september we could not board it from the main road near the hotel, it gets full at es cana and just goes passed - hence the walking! The hotel frontage does not do it any justice! When you enter it opens into a mass of shiny marble, it is very clean throughout incuding the pool, and your room is serviced once a day, including Sundays. The hotel staff are very friendly, particularly Sergio on reception, who cant seem to do enough for you. The bar is beautiful, but as with most hotels the prices could be better, although they were not ridiculous. In terms of entertainment, the staff try but are not quite there yet! There were plenty of day time activities including, bowls, archery, pool, darts, table tennis, football etc, etc. There was a daily stretching exercise dance thingy.... which although we did not partake, is still playing through my head as i write!! Very amusing. The evening entertainment was geared towards the remaining few children left on holiday until around 9.45pm. Then there were nightly games of bingo, for the prize of a bottle of champagne and numerous events such as a stage version of Greece, dancing and some games. The entertainment staff were mostly friendly, although there was a peter andre look alike who quite liked himself and claimed to only speak italian! The majority of visitors are Italian and german, with a few Spanish and British. It is definately geared up more for the Italian/German contingence, but that was fine coz it meant they left you alone a bit more and you could relax with being mithered!! We booked B&B, although we did pay to eat in the hotel restaraunt on 2 nights. The food was fantastic, all buffet style, you could have as much or as little as you wanted. The evening meal we paid for cost 10euro each, again for as much as you wanted over 3 courses and also included a half litre bottle of wine and a bottle of water each. Bargain! I have added a few photo's, the night view photo of the pool was taken from our balcony. That particular evening they had dressed the pool and put sheeted matresses on the floor, they were giving out free sangria! The sanded area you see to the right in the photo is also part of the hotel and activties take place a little further into that area also. The jetty you see in the distance going into the sea is also the hotels, but as another reviewer has already wrote, they charge you for the use of the sunbeds on there. You can however see that it is only a very short distance to walk to the sea. The only thing we think could be better is the metal beds! The beds squeaked every time you turned over and the matresses were a little hard (but then thats down to personal preference). Overall a fantastic holiday in a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location - i would go back tomorrow!!"

"Clean Hotel with good staff, great buffet breakfast and dinner, loads of choice. The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious we had a great pool / sea view. Pool and sunbathing areas are fine and they have a small beach bar, (although they could invest in some comfier sun loungers!) Its really nice and quiet around and about we would walk to the local bars (Pacos is great as is the Cesars Beach Bar if you want quiet evening drinks) Walk into both local resorts doesnt take long. The enterrtainment kids work really hard and are nice people. All in all fantastic short break."

So many plusses only 1 minus
"We checked in late (about 1130pm) and were assigned a very nice room overlooking the pool with views to the sea. The room was average size nicely furnished and spotless. The aircon was ok even on max it blew cool air but is an improvement on many hotels we have stayed in. Our opinion was that eveywhere we looked it was spotless (corridors, walls etc). FOOD Excellent.. To the reviewer who commented on chips & nuggets - quite right. At breakfast there were approximately 30-40 different dishes so one tray of chips and one of nuggets is hardly worth commenting on. After 2 days of English style breakfasts we opted for the choice of the Mediterranean guests and had coffee and pastries but there are always fried eggs/scrambled eggs/sausage/bacon/beans on offer. Dinner once again was superb as long as you like international cuisine. Fantastic salad starters/ Nice mains (always a fish dish) and at the end a couple of pasta dishes for the Italians/and lovely deserts. In conclusion the food is no way 3* it is 4* GUESTS We estimated 40% Italian/ 30% Spanish/ 20% English/10% Other so the food is not aimed at the Brits like in other resorts. On our last day there was a welcome meeting by the pool and there were about 100 new Italian guests so the mix of nationalites changed again. Due to the lack of Germans and uncouth Brits there is no laying of towels at 6am and consequently you can walk to the pool at 10am and get a sun lounger. HOTEL As we booked very late we didn't realise the hotel was on the beach. Often pictures show a scene but when you arrive you find a road between you and the beach.Nope this one is set back from the beach. The bar is uninteresting and we never made the entertainment but guests did comment is was not brilliant but hey they are just young people earning a living. AREA On the first day we walked to Cala Pada and times it at 7 minutes there you can catch the ferry to numerous other places. We went to Eivissa Town which was a great day out and you must walk up to the Dalt Vila for the superb views. We walked to S Eularia once (and back) but found it too much considering the heat. S E is a lovely resort with shades of Nice with the marina and the nicer bars overlooking the water. We found a spot we considered our favourite to swim but I will leave that to you as one man's heaven is another man's hell. We counted 6 places from C Pada to es Canar to swim which is pretty amazing in my reckoning. The walk to Es Canar is about 25 mins and I think the person who posted the "goat trail" did it tongue in cheek as there is another way round nearby. We walked to E C every day as we liked the buzz of the place and the boar rides from there and also found a lovely place for lunch (once again I will not mention the name you may hate it but a pint of beer is only 2 Euros). The water all around was some of the calmest and clearest we have ever seen. CONCLUSION There are so many really good points about the hotel and the area I hope i have covered there was only 1 major down point for us and that was the noise. On our first night we were woken at 1am by 2 Italian youngsters swimming in the pool and shouting up to their friends on the 4th floor. This finally ended at 3am. I was going to ask to move rooms but my wife said she liked the view so much if we went to the other (quieter) side of the hotel we would miss out on the views so I relented and we had a couple of quiet nights (the aircon drowns out most noise) but then again near the end there was excessive noise under our room from another table of Italians so I asked reception to quieten them and they did so at 1am. Maybe as we were in peak season for Europeans it was noisier but the levels did surprise us especially after a reviewer stated "you are not allowed to make any noise after 10pm" ????."

Great hotel for the quieter side of Ibiza
"Hotel Club Augusta was our choice for an 8 night stay on Ibiza, an island we have spent lots of time on before. We were really pleased with this place, looking for a quiet, relaxed time for this particular visit to the island. It is a clean and Spanish run hotel, catering slightly more toward the Italian holidaymakers but there were plenty of other nationalities, in couples, groups and families which worked out fine. The hotel has great facilities and I have to say, usually going away self catering, having had a couple of bad experiences with half board etc, we went for B&B only - However, the food was really good. Good quality selection for breakfast and we even decided to eat in the hotel in the eves after the first couple of nights of usual touristey-food we encountered venturing out. The selection of meats and fish dishes with salad and deserts for 10 euros was the best value and the best quality we found! The other positive reviews really sum up the hotel. It's a good place to stay, very reasonable, entertainment was poor but they really try! If you're looking for somewhere in the heart of it with clubs nearby this isnt the place. But as base for the more relaxing side of Ibiza this is the best place I have come across."

Excellent for a quiet holiday, but all the excitement if you want it!
"Just back from a weeks holiday with a friend, staying at the Augusta. If i was to review just the hotel i really cant fault it. The hotel was very clean, had great facilities inc pool, gym, kids club, staff were very friendly and helpful. A small not busy beach was also right on the door step. We were only B & B and we only had breakfast twice (too many late nights!) so i cant really rate the food. If youre looking for a busy resort full of young british tourists then this is not the place for you. If you want a nice relaxing holiday in a nice place with the choice of a short bus ride to the nearest town then this is the place for you! Definate recommendations for Santa Eulalia:Food - The Gallery, Cocktails - Bar Mexcal If you wish to hire a moped i would recommend booking in advance."
