hotel from hell
"We went as a hen party of 15 ladies I wouldn't recommend any stag or hen party to ever consider this hotel. Staff are very rude and the main manager goes around the resort looking for things to moan about all day .I believe he is the riders man I have ever encountered.your not allowed to have fun as we found out very quickly. There was a stag do arrived around 8 of nine lads they were all nice lads and had everyone around the hotel laughing at there jokes just having fun they were told they had to go the next day as they were disturbing the guests we asked around the guests if that was the case and everyone was shocked at what we told them it wasn't true everyone was enjoying them the only person that wasn't was the grumpy old manager the lads were removed from the hotel at 5.o clock in the morning with nowhere to go we found out later he was refusing to give them there passports back all if your planning a stag or hen night and want some fun I deck don't recommend this hotel.cleaners are very rude and don't clean every day as stated in your booking I was there four days and not once was my room cleaned only bed made on second day had to ask for fresh towels.now to let you understand I am a 67year old and our girls behaved but I was shocked at the lack of any welcome lot even a smile scratchy was the only. One that ever smiled and spoke to you he was the entertainer a big ten for him as his job was the hardest. If you want you hen or stag got go well don't go to this hotel you've been warned."

Wouldn't class this as a family hotel
"Stayed here with my husband and two kids and mam. Hotel was ok, loads of stag and hen, 40,50th birthdays seems to be loads of groups of men and women. Wouldn't class this as a family hotel, had to move rooms as got put next door to a group of hen party's with a 4 year old. Entertainer Versace was great he made our holiday!! Food nice apart from toaster broke, coffee machine broke, juice machine broke something different didn't work every morning. Had ants in our room which frightened the life out of my daughter had to ask maid to spray it which she did. Great free WiFi. What really annoyed me was we arrived at 9.00 on the first day so missed most of our meals, on last day we got picked up at 5pm but got our all inclusive bands taken off us at 12.00 which I thought was ridiculous, lost a full day of all inclusive, you pay for 7 days you should get 7 days. View from our room was totally depressing, building site with 3 cranes this needs sorting. Had an ok week but wouldn't return especially with kids "

Never again.. Very rude staff
"Just back from a weeks holiday at the Rosamar after reading all the reviews I was quite excited to take my family here only to be sadly disappointed when first arrived to the Hotel at 3am the guy at reception was very rude and not helpful at all seen in other reviews people were taking to get snacks when arriving at the hotel which we were looking forward to after a long trip only to have not been giving this service even though we were all inclusive customers. The next day we decided to take the kids to the swimming pool only to there disappointment someone had decided to poo in the pool needless to say the kids were no longer aloud in the pool when staff were alerted all the did was stand and laugh at the situation. The food at the hotel was just ok never seemed to ever have been served hot always cold. We decided to purchase the wifi at the hotel which was only â¬15 for the week but we might as well of thrown the money down the drain as the wifi never worked and when I complained to reception they had told me that both my iPad & iPhone were faulty and not there problem. The manager of the hotel was extremily rude to us from the second we got to the hotel and the second we left everything seemed to be a problem to him.We had decided to take the kids out for a trip over to San Antonio and had gone to reception to ask them to order us a taxi only to find that they had refused as they do not do this service even though it is shown in the hotels booklet and at reception and told us we were best going to the main road and flagging a taxi down not the best thing to do with 2 young kids. The reception staff all were so very rude to us threw out our whole stay and were not helpful what so ever. I will never return to this hotel ever again seems to be to much of an effort for staff to smile or have manners although I must say bar staff and cleaning staff were quite friendly."

great hotel (pickypaula)
"My husband and i stayed at the Rosamar hotel for 1 week with our family and granddaughter ages 51,43,27,22,20,18 and 4. For a low cost holiday it more than met our expectations. Yes, there was a view of a half built hotel, but who goes to Ibiza for the scenery? We found the hotel spotless, the staff extremely helpful and the food always varied and plentiful, including an Asian, Spanish, and Italian evening, and even a carvery on sunday! There was entertainment every evening and a mini disco for children, with the children's entertainer Nereya dressed as a clown. The bar served local beers and spirits and finished at 11.30pm prompt, but the young members of the group went on to the local bars, a short walk away which served until 3am-4am. I do however feel that the hotel could improve by providing ice cream/ice lollies throughout the day for the kids as none was available other than at mealtimes, and so we had to walk a couple of hundred yards to the nearest store to buy them. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would stay at the Rosamar again."

Hotel from Hell, if you a a young person wanting a good time.
"Just got back from a one week stay at this hotel. On arrival staff were very unfriendly. Our rooms were regular inspected and we got threatened with the police if we did not pick clothes up of the floor. One evening we got in at 9.15pm from the beach and the manager refused to let us in the restaurant to eat as it was closing at 9.30pm so we had to go and eat out when we had paid for all inclusive. The bar staff were very abusive and unfriendly towards us, shouting abuse at us at front of families and children. The bar staff chose when they would serve us with snacks and drinks on some occasions they refused even though we had paid for all inclusive. This also happened in the main restaurant . One day the manager who is male and male staff walked into our room and didnât knock why we was in bed and tried to grab hold of me why i was undressed in bed saying he was ringing the police as again the maid had complained that clothes were on the floor. We asked the staff to leave why we got ready but they refused and watched us getting dressed. They told us to get our cases and chucked us out of the hotel being very abusive and aggressive. Luckily we had friends staying in a near by hotel and we went to there. This hotel is not for young people at all. they had a problem with us the day we arrived we are two sisters aged 18 &21 who went to this hotel as it was recommended when we booked to go. Avoid going to this hell hole if you want a good fun holiday. "

Rosamar Party Hotel
"Just came back from this Hotel end of May to 7th June, myself and hubby with two young children had to suffer 11 nights there, its a three star Hotel which falsly advertises a kids club when it is locked and no one to run it.
Our kids were really bored with nothing to do.
Several stagg parties were there banging on doors and shouting between 3am and 6am coming back from night clubs and being noisey all day taking up the pool and bar area.
Two stagg parties were shouting and being rude to staff, several idividuals were threatning and Intimidating and sweaing in front of children, one couple saw drug wrappers around the pool early one morning, cleaners quickly removing them.
Our Kids and other families kids were refusing to play in and around the swimming pool area.
The hotel were filled with low life scum and trash, manager is just happy to fill up the rooms and make money, our holiday is ruined and wouldn't go back there even if offered a free holiday with a £1000 euro's spendy money!!! Were not a fussy family, we just don't mix well with scum and trashy people! felt shattered whole holiday all day every day awoken up throughout the nights.
Warning do not book this hotel if you value a quiet family or couple's break to get away from all your worries.
We just want to stop another nice family or couple from having a ruined holiday.
Staff are friendly and food is a good average 7 out of 10.
Rooms/swimming pool are clean but just feared for my childrens safety around drunken big blokes, one lady was injured on holiday in the pool, nasty cut to head and big bruise on shoulder when big bloke landed on her pushing her under water, if my son was there instead he would of drowned!
Hotel manager gave out four warmings to one stagg party and kicked one stagg party out of hotel, escorted by the police!
Will never ever go there again, NEVER!!!
On a positive note Old Town in ibiza is worth a visit, the mini pirate cruise is great for the whole family! snorkling is lovely at cassa bassa beach, pretty crystal clear water and clean beach, book the free bus well in advance, the stagg parties seem to arrive thursday/friday and stay until Sunday normally, have a nice holiday, we wish you luck and protection, god bless."

very nice hotel
"We've just come home from a 7 night stay at Rosamar....4 adults and a 5 yr. old. It's the 4th time we've been there but the 1st since it's been all inclusive. Once again the rooms were very clean and there was everything you need. Was a little disappointed when i saw there was no kettle but then found out we could hire one from reception so that's what we did. Food was lovely and plenty of it, if anyone came down and said there was nothing they liked, then all i can say is they're hard to please. On the down side i think they shouldn't put families on the same corridors as the parties of young adults, several nights/early mornings we were disturbed by them coming back late and very noisy.....even knocking on our door because they'd forgotten what room they were in.Not much entertainment for children day or night and the mini disco for them is all well and good but most songs are in spanish so the kids just sit there baffled. Also no ice creams for kids during the day. But it didn't spoil our holiday and for the price we paid it was good value. Would think about going back again."

"went here in may 2010 and loved it. the pools were so cold u couldnt even kneel down in the kids pool. other than that everything was perfect; the staff were very friendly, the apartments were very spacious (ecspecially the bathroom),there is a small waterpark about 5 mins walk away that has a few slides, a water sprinkling palm tree and a small climbing frame with a barrel that pour water all over the unlucky person standing underneath!
overall great holiday but go in summer! "

"Me and my partner are just back from a weeks stay in September. I work for Thomson, as this is one of our propertys I was looking forward to staying here. The hotel was FAB! Would reccommend this to anyone looking for central good hotel in the bay. We are looking to go back next year, as we really enjoyed our stay. We would go back tomorrow if we could!! You need to get down to the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. So close to bars, one of which organises your big nights to the big night clubs which we used and found helpful!"

"having read the review after booking the holiday was a little nervous after reading the staff were not friendly but put that aside in hope that who ever wrote the review were just the kind of people who didnt get on with everyone well clearly not the case on arrival the reception desk were not friendly at all and it didnt end there all the bar staff were very unfriendly we would ask for a drink saying please and thankyou for them to not even look at you and slam drinks down infront of u as if they were angry they never smiled or made the effort which we found very rude,it was a shame bcus the hotel was nice very clean but was let down by unfriendy staff which i feel is an important part to be able to enjoy the hotel u need a good atmosphere and that was lacking massivly. the hotel had a mixture of people from familes and young adults which was nice altho they had a 0 tolerence to any noise what so ever i would say the younger people were clearly having fun but were not offensive in any way whereas the staff didnt take lightly to any noise anyone having fun etc they take 150 euros on arrival as a security deposit which they use against you if u make noise or break anything id say a few people lost this which seemed unfair as they were only having fun!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Great food, nice, helpfull staff. Rooms very clean. The water taxis to San Antonio are great value. You can also walk into San Antonio (approx 30 mins.) Overall it's really good value for money. Would go back tomorrow if we could. Some people's petty complaints are so funny! I have none."
