Fiesta Hotels in Ibiza
"It is really disappointing to read negative feedback about the Don Toni but unfortunately the same goes for the Fiesta Palm Beach in Ibiza. We have stayed here a number of times including booking ourselves direct as well as through a UK travel company. This year we booked for 11 nights, paid over £3k and were met with the same male groups, arguments throughout the night, loud noise all night with groups of males coming back to the hotel. We even came close to trying to book a Ryanair / Easyjet flight home early following a consistent 4 nights of no sleep after first arriving due to young male groups keeping us awake all night. Holiday ruined due to spending days sleeping as we could not sleep during the night. Also agree the bar atmosphere was very intimidating and one night we finished our evening early as it was very clear a large scale fight was likely to break out. Prior to this year we were great supporters of Fiesta Hotels and the Thomson Family Holiday. For our next holiday we will be thinking much more carefully!!"

very let down!
"Myself,my 9 year old son and my parents have just returned home from this hotel and as it was our second year their we were so dissapointed the second time round. It is no longer "family friendly" as there were large groups of young single sex party goers there which resulted in doors banging all night and the reception area could be quite intimidating at times. The food was o.k and lots of choice but 2 weeks was more than enough.Needless to say we will not be returning again next year.My 9 year old son was swore at several times and the pool was closed twice due to somebody emptying there bowels in it."

the most dreadful place on earth
"this hotel is the most dreadful dirty hotel I have ever had to stay in, it was only for one night and that was enough. The rooms were damp, musty and dirty with ants and cockroaches! The music from the beach bar droned on all day along with the roar of planes flying overhead ever few minutes. It looks nothing like the pictures in the brochure in fact we couldnt recognise it, our room was like a little shed room 4003 beware.I feel so sorry for anyone who has looked forward and saved up all year to be confronted with this awful place. "This was the second time we had visited the hotel and we probably wouldnt go again. We took my partners disabled daughter and other children and we were told that it wouldnt be a problem. Firstly was the lifts. There was 2 but the guests at that time were so ignorent that they couldnt be bothered to let us in the lift. One day we waited 30 mins to actually get down to breakfast and we was on the first floor! we were told we could use the trade lift but it wasnt wide enough for the wheelchair and another person to use. Then we booked with the travel agent an adjoining room for the rest of the kids but the reception and the thompsons rep said we hadnt. When we got home, i marched intot he shop to be shown on computer that we had. Thirdly we decided to go to the pool by the grassy area. the boardwalk was often frequented by sunbathers and so we could hardly get passed. Then when in the water, we went to a quiet area so my step daughter could splash. As we were going passed, we had a complaint from a sunbather who shouldnt be there anyway and then the lifeguard approached us to say that we should hold her in a clinch so she couldnt splash. i said that it was her holiday to and as we couldnt use the beach because of access and we couldnt get to the pool from the other side then this was our only option and that in England, it would be classed as constraint and illegal. I had no intention of doing so anyhow. I reported this to the rep who was absolutly crap and had no intention of helping us in any way. Lastly was the staffs children who came from school to use the resteraunt. They made it clear that they could push in, shove and generally take the mick out of our daughter which was upsetting and plain disgusting. Dont get me wrong, the hotel was gorgeous, the beach was idylic and the whole place was lovely but its not for anybody with a disabled child. We went on a boat trip and the access was terrible which meant we were dropped off at a place no wider than the chair and had people sunbathing along it so we had to carry the chair off the beach"

"I went with my 2 year old daughter and my much older mother! We had an amazing time. When we arrived we had lost the keys to one of our suitcases (bad start) hotel= no problem, all sorted within the first half hour of our arrival! Also while we were there the baby's pushchair broke, not happy, hotel= oh, its only a little bolt we'll have it fixed by the time you finish dinner, and it was. The staff were so kind and helpful at all times day and night, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself was to a great standard and in a great locations, great facilities onsite for the kids and adults alike, and the evening entertainment was a great laugh too! The food was to die for, so much selection, lovely fresh salad to hot food, that was hot not just warm. Plenty of healthy choice as well as burgers and chips so everyone was happy. we stayed half board but had so much to eat we didn't miss lunch or snacks! While we were there we didn't do too much, just went to the beach and used the pools. I would suggest if you're young and flexible enough to buy lilos from the local shop if you plan on going to the beach everyday as sun loungers do work out expensive. Also bears and drinks are more pricey than other parts of spain and europe so do go the the shops, or the hotel do offer an upgrade once you arrive. We all had so much fun that we are going back in October, and we've never been back to the same hotel twice!"

Best Holiday in Spain
"Well...I've been to several foreign countries over the years including Spain and found them all very much the same. I expected much less than I found at Playa d'en Bossa and the Don Toni Hotel. The hotel is on a private road next door to the Don Toni Club (which is NOT my ideal holiday and is centered around children and activities. The main pool is at the Club side of the complex). It is all surrounded by palm trees and very tropical! The small town is clean with lots of entertainment in walking distance. The Don Toni hotel is clean and well presented for a 3* designed on 70's style. The rooms are clean and maid service is every day. The bathroom as a 4 piece suite and was really clean with a superb shower. The air conditioning is very effective and each room has a seaview to some degree. The food is very good and plentiful as the buffet style restraunt allows you to eat as many courses as you feel like. It caters for all tastes...although the sweet trolley is more colour than flavour. The hotel is spacious and most of the staff are quite helpful. The small pool at the hotel is clean and deceptively large. ***The only downsides to the hotel are the fact that you have to queue with a plate for a while to reach the buffet table sometimes. (Fish courses are in a queue ahead of the first one). There are a lot of stairs to climb when the lifts are busy - 8 floors in total! There are 3 lifts from reception and one lift from the basement where the restraunt is. Each lift only takes 4 people. We found the beds to be quite hard in our room and didn't sleep very well. (My teenage daughter was happy with hers).*** Overall - it was brilliant with lots to do in the day & we will certainly go back to our mini-caribbean holiday hotel. Beverly "

"We stayed at the Hotel Don Toni for 10 nights. 4 adults and 2 children, ages varied from 14-45 and everyone was thoroughly entertained for the duration of the holiday! We upgraded to AI on arrival and was well worth the money. The best staff in a hotel we've ever came across. Our stay was whilst Spain won the Euro 2008 cup, we stayed in the hotel to watch, once Spain won, Cornelio (bar staff) gave us some free shots, what a wonderful man :)! We would also like to thank, Piotrek, Alexandro and especially Felipe, the hardest working man in the whole Balearics! They made our stay truely unforgetable. We spent alot of time around the hotel pool as it was a lovely, quiet spot to relax in. The hotel was excellently situated on the island; on the beach, a 5 minute walk to bars and shops and a short bus ride from the airport. One member of our party celibrated their 15th birthday, so we went to Aguamar, just across the road, for a day out. And what a day out it truely was! A real treat! We thoroughly reccomend the following bars; Big Ben, Sports Cafe and for the thrill seekers, Tantra. We visited these bars each and every night. We had the holiday of a life time in this hotel, and would reccomend it to just about everyone!"

"EXCELLENT HOTEL! We spent a week here (family of 3, child 12). Upgraded to AI for 18e per adult, 11e for child. Hotel fantastic. Food varied, plenty of it, freshly cooked. Something for everyone. Local drinks included in AI were fine. We tried the rose wine, red wine, gin and whisky and they tasted much better than expected. We found people did not abuse the AI option where alchohol was concerned. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it sensibly and we at no time saw anyone drunk. Did not find our experience the same as one I've just read. We had lunch in the El Patio restaurant (open 1.30pm-3pm) every day - buffet style and again excellent choice and quality. Food in the pool bars not particularly good but some people might prefer a quick burger or toastie. The pool at the Club is very busy. Plenty of sunbeds but not so many brollies. People reserving them with towels from very early in the morning. Pool at hotel a different experience. No sunbeds but you could lie on the grass on towels or lilos. Staff could not have done more. Always pleasant with a smile for everyone. Entertainment was first class every night (except nothing on Sunday). Professional shows on several times a week. Not repeated within 2 weeks. Does get busy though so seating can be a problem. Beach excellent, reached from beach bar - you can get drinks there on AI but not food. The hotel is not terribly modern but is very clean, maid service every day. Rooms are adequate with TV, couch (which folds out for a bed). Twin beds. Mixer tap showers - plenty of hot water at all times. Lots of sports activities and mini-golf on site and at the pool/beach. Water park close to the hotel - walking distance. Space night club also close to hotel but we didn't hear any noise. Bora bora beach close by is popular with the clubbers. Water in the pool and at the beach lovely and warm. The resort itself was disappointing with everywhere playing club music although we enjoyed going to Ibiza town, nice cafes, bars and marina. Took a boat ride back to Playa D'en Bossa which was only 3.50e each, takes about 20 mins. I would certainly consider coming back to this hotel as it ticked a lot of boxes and we had a superb time, despite Playa D'en Bossa having little to offer, the hotel made up for it. "

Just back from this hotel a week ago. I...
"Just back from this hotel a week ago. I gave this hotel a 3 rating as i only found three good things about it. The food, the views, and the rooms. Bad Points are as follows: We paid 658 euros (3people - 2 weeks) too upgrade from halfboard to allinclusive, big mistake and a waste off money. We dont do lunch as we usually have a snack at lunch time. On going to the snack bar we were told we could only have 3 food items on allinclusive which were a hotdog roll, burger roll or cheese toastie. We had to pay for ice cream and bagettes. We also couldnt use the club beach bar as that was out of bounds for allinclusive guests, a nasty member of staff told me to get out and use the hotel pool bar. While sitting with friends at the hotel bar who were half board the staff constently stood over us and u could tell they were watching to see if we were getting drinks for them ( as if ) it made us feel very uncomfortable. The entertainment was in the club part for complex and by the time you finished ur dinner and got round there, there were no seats left. The hotel had no entertainment ever. We had no sunloungers at the hotel pool and had to just sit on our towels. The beach sunloungers cost 6 euros each and the parasols were 6 euros each as well. O beach was lovely. I must sound a right moan. Ibiza is lovely island and we enjoyed our day trips but would certainly not go back to a Fiesta hotel if that is the way they treat you when you upgrade. Met some lovely people though. They all thought the same A well travelled 44yr old and family."

Just returned from 1 weeks holiday with ...
"Just returned from 1 weeks holiday with husband and 4 year old son. We had a fab time, loved the location of hotel and the food was first class. Ideal family holiday. The hotel was clean and bright with friendly staff. The food was a wide variety and all very fresh. The hotel is right on the beach which is very clean and ideal for young family (the only thing is that they were charging 16 Euro for 2 beds and umbrella PER DAY). The hotel has great facilities for all the family, and is only a 10 minute walk from the centre. I would definately stay at the hotel again, but would not go near the Club Don Toni (the other part of the complex) it was Butlins in the sun with people sitting drinking all day and night, and all packed like sardines round the pool side - not my cup of tea. Overall would recommend for a great family holiday."
