Good Loaction, good value
"Stayed in Faro for 1 night after travelling back from Lisbon by train. Very handy for the train station - 2 mins walk. Hotel rooms were small but clean. We had a room to the front which was a bit noisy. Courtyard at the back of the hotel was a great place for a relaxing breakfast. Reception staff were excellent and were happy to store out luggage until our flight back the following day. Would stay here again if ever back in Faro."

"Ran from a nearby Hostel, and paid an extra 10 Euros per night for The Residential Algarve which included breakfast. Located perfectly, it is 1 minute walk from the central area. Close to bus stops for the beach, and about a 10 minute walk to the ferry. Staff are very freindly and accomodating, rooms are great. Fully recommend."

"Spent two days here at the beginning of July with friends and my parents. The people were friendly, the rooms were clean. We had rooms facing the street out front, so possibly a little bit noisier than others, but we all slept fine. The courtyard where you can have breackfast was lovely.Only a short walk from the centre and old town. Excellent value for money"

Great price for what you get
"Nice little hotel. Friendly front desk. Centrally located. Good breakfast. Small room, but inexpensive. Within walking distance to the old part of the city and a delicious restaurant which was recommended to us by the hotel."

Great Find, Great people
"This place was a great deal and a gem to find. Located right near town center. The staff was absolutly the greatest. We had 2 hrs to kill before the train left back to Lisbon and they let us store our bags there while we walked around the town. Great customer service. The romms are small but you are not there to hang out in the room. The rooms where very clean. I would say if you are staying in Faro, this is the place to stay."

Gem of a hotel at 45 Euros per couple, with breakfast !!!!
"We stayed at this lovely little hotel for one night to catch an early flight the next day and found it very easily (with a little help of Google mapping) and it was very well positioned for an early dart. We parked on the road outside as it was quiet but they do have a secure garage with a charge of 5 euros a night - which I think is very reasonable! The rooms and bathrooms are small but as previously reported they are spotless. Lovely courtyard and breakfast room. The breakfast include was simple and plentiful. Very nice staff and the restaurant they recommended was fantastic - true Portuguese style and menu. This hotel is in a slightly rundown part of Faro but within a minutes walk to the Marina, Station, Churches and shopping centre. The only thing I would advise it to request a room at the back of the hotel (which are only twins I think) as our front room was a bit noisy - we were offered a change but didn't take it so our fault really. Also all rooms are double glazed so you can shut out the noise if you take the time to work out the aircon. All in all a fantastic find."

"My husband and I stayed here for one night in June en route to Lagos. The room, although small, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, which is a must for me. The good continental breakfast was taken in a most delightful courtyard with a fountain. The owner told us how he had to demolish the original building as it was not safe and how he had rebuilt it as near to the original as possible. He also recommended restaurants nearby. We really wished we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value for money, cleanliness, and the personal interest of the owner in his guests."
