LOVE this place. Been twice (2011 Feb and then Oct) and going again this year!
"I have written reviews on Trip Adviser, but thought I would write a quick one on here. This place is a must go. Situated in the perfect location. Approx 7 min walk to the 'Strip' 10 min walk down to the beach and 15 min walk to the 'Old Town'. Along the strip you will find a large variety of bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and clubs. Down at the Old Town, you will find the same, but situated in the lovely back streets with stunning views of the sea from some parts. The beach is clean and sandy - great for sandcastle building ;) The apartments themselves, I cannot fault. Spotlessly clean and tidy. A little dated with the furnishing I admit, but who cares if the overall impression is great? Staff could not be more helpful if they tried :) that goes for everyone working here. Bruno and the lady on reception are always doing what they can to make sure you are happy. Even the cleaners are friendly and smiley :) Great for all ages even families with small children. Ah maybe my only faults would be that sometimes the road at the front can be a bit noisy and the pool is on the small side, but with the beach down the road it doesn't really matter? Love it and cant wait for October to come to go back x"

"Just back from these apartments. The apartments and complex are well maintained and kept spotlessy clean by a very hard working team. Its 3* rated so don't expect 5* facilities. There's a decent oven and hob, a microwave and even a washing machine in the apartments *please be aware though if you do use the washer make sure you set the spin selection before opening the door*(CENTRAFRUGA)or you might end up with a puddle!" The fitments are rather dated but for the money we paid I certainly would not complain. The apartments are only about a 10 min walk to the "strip" or to the nearest beach. Great location. Very helpful management..Bruno on reception is a little gem! beautiful beaches and lovely people too we will be back!!"

Home from Home
"These budgets apartments have everything you could want! TV, washing machine, a fair size freezer and plenty of utensil if you like to stay in and cook (we didnt), the apartments are huge, we booked a one bedroom apartment for comfort and it was great. They are cleaned everyday with clean towels, and the cleaners and the receptionist are very friendly. When there was problems with the ash cloud, the receptionist Marta was ringing round for everyone. There is a little bar underneath these apartments, although when the windows are closed you cannot hear anything. The Cheers bar is a very friendly bar, the owners Maria and Antonio go out of their way to make you feel at home, and with the beer at 1.50 euros, who could ask for any more. There are snacks available there too. They are 5 minutes to the strip, and a ten minute busride to the old town. I would certainly go back there anytime."

This is a Little Gem - Mega Value- short walk to the strip - but very Peaceful
"Hidden Gem right in the middle of Albufeira, very short walk to the strip and beach but far enough away to be very peaceful. We stayed here on my Nephews stag weekend in May 2010 (which turned into a week with the Ash cloud) there was ten of us in total, The rooms are very spacious and very clean and comfortable, our room had a double bedroom and two further pull out double beds in the living area, fully equipt kitchen with washing machine, microwave etc. The staff here never seem to stop cleaning and the swimming pool area is spotless. For the money we paid you will not get better value for your money. When we got stranded there with the Ash cloud the manager did us a very good deal on our extended stay and did not take advantage of our unfortunate circumstances, which could have turned out very expensive. The Jewel in The Crown would have to be the CHEERS BAR located in the apartment complex, The Cheers Bar is run by a wonderful couple called Maria & Antonio who could not do enough for us, this bar serves wonderful food at a mega prices and the cheapest pint in Albufeira, but best of all was Maria & Antonio's kindness and friendliness, Antonio even went home to fetch his computer & printer for us on our last night there so we could print off our boarding passes (to avoid the ash cloud Queue) I will definately go back and hopefully very soon"

Unbeatable value for money
"We stayed here in April 2010. We had a hire car from the airport and drove around Albufeira for over an hour before we found the place - we got sent in all directions by very friendly, well-meaning locals! Make sure you get proper directions before you go. For the price the apartment couldn't have been better - very clean, good facilities, comfortable bed and very helpful staff. The Portuguese really are the friendliest people. Location-wise, it was handy for The Strip (10 min walk) and only 20 min from the old town, so ideal. I'd also mention the Cheers Bar which is in the complex. It's possibly the cheapest bar in town, with very welcoming owners who gave us free tapas when we arrived, and a good place to meet some of the locals as well as fellow tourists. Will go back."

Spacious and comfortable
"We had a 1-bedroom apartment which was generously proportioned. Decoration and equipment good although not particularly luxurious or high-spec (could do with microwave. Got BBC and ITV but nothing else. Close enough to walk to Strip, Old Town and beach but sufficiently far away to be quiet. Pool nice and staff very helpful."

Can't beat them!!!
"We have stayed at the seria de oura twice now. Being a family with two young children, we really appreciated the fact that the kitchen was fully equipped and there was a washing machine which meant I got alot of my stuff washed and dried before coming home. For the money the aprtments are fantastic. In a great location - far enough to avoid the noise from the "stip" and not to far to stroll to the old town if you prefer something more quaint. The staff are helpful and the maid service is great. There is alot of storage space in the rooms and there is an iron etc also provided. The little bar next door is nice and friendly and very cheap!! We would definatly return again to the apartments. The only problem with staying this side of alberfuria is the steep hill to / from the beach. No good for people with mobility problems."

Def not luxury
"Stayed here for a 3 night break, the man on reception was very helpful and gave us the remote for the heating straight away...and boy did we need it.We never saw him or anyone else on reception ever again though. The apartments have seen better days but i have to say were spotlessly clean. The bedding was a bit dated and the bed was rock hard, but plenty of seating space. We never used the kitchen apart from making a brew, but seemed to be well equipped. But the bathroom!!...there was no blind up at the window, just a pair of thin curtains and see through glass and naturally the bath/shower was under the window. The shower cracked us up laughing,it was like one of those old plastic things you used to attatch to your taps. The shower curtain was one of those old manky cloth type that sticks to your bum.The cold in there certainly didn't leave you hanging about. The heater was a real plus but was above the draughty door and only heated the sleeping area.Sorry to sound like i'm moaning cos we did have a good time all told, but if your staying here and not expecting too much then these apts will be a great base. They were a little too far out for us esp walking home at night as dark on roads but would still go back to Albufeira at the drop of a hat.Our only gripe was we never saw a cleaner apart from the 3rd night at 6pm.
