Me & my boyfriend went to Algarve wantin...
"Me & my boyfriend went to Algarve wanting a restful holiday and thatâs exactly what we got we could not have asked for more the apartments were clean and the pool area it was 5 mins from the beach and the strip it was fantastic.
At that time of year as well we werenât sure the weather was going to be all that good but it was brill just hot enough to get a tan be it was bearable which mad the nights comfortable to sleep as well.
I didnât want to leave I would advise any one to got to this resort and this accommodation."

Great holiday - avoid the bullfight
We had a great time on this holiday â but it wasnât worth the £1200 we paid when we booked back In Feb. If you get it as a cheap last minute deal it would be excellent.
Clean and very quiet. We had read on the internet that it was noisy in the evening but it certainly wasnât when we were there.
Pool bar open until wee small hours morning, also doing chips, pizza, omelettes etc. Mainly Irish & Scots couples and families with toddlers.
Plenty of TVs in the bar area showing all the footie you could want plus soaps if you are into them.
Shortage of sun loungers so we had to get up at around 6.30 to 7.00 in order to reserve one. Daft I know but I would have got really burnt without a parasol.
Great location just minutes from the Strip. Good Indian and Chinese at the top of the road â loads of restaurants and British pubs on the Strip. Nice Portuguese bar on the way to the Strip does v cheap beer and sangria. Also, a nice Italian called Cucina Italia on a side street to the left as you walk to the strip.
Good supermarket called Marachino at the top of the road, also has a cashpoint which accepted our debit card so no need for travellers cheques. Others around also.
Nice and clean but a 15 min walk away (hilly). We chilled by the pool instead.
Very pretty and more authentic â Amanda Lamb was filming â A Place In The Sunâ when we were there.. About £3 in a taxi â get a taxi back from the drop off point. There is a tourist train but we never managed to find it. Lovely beach and lots of restaurants. Great Rock Bar in the main square with an excellent heavy rock covers band in residence â great atmosphere.
Donât go to the Bullfight please â they donât kill the bull but they do torture it â this is the 21st century so please strike a blow for evolution and stay away."

"Having just come back from this resort, have to say that it exceeded my expectations. Clean, roomy apartments, fantastic staff and very friendly housekeeping. Beautiful pool and childrens pool very good too. The weather was great (in 30's all week) and within easy reach of the beach and Strip. Definetly go back again. Only one complaint, no decent tv channels in the room but hey! U go on hols to get away from junk tv ;o)"

"Just arrived back having spent a week in gorgeous Albufeira at the Natura Sun. To be honest this is a perfect base for both families and couples alike. As previous reviews mentioned the biggest complaint about the Natura is the lack of air conditioning in the room as it can get pretty hot during the summer. We stayed in a studio apartment on the ground floor and had no complaints with noise coming from the bar. The studio's are very spacious and well equiped and were cleaned at least 3 times during our stay. I did however find the threat of â¬100 fine for leaving kitchen utensils dirty on departure, which was on a notice in the kitchen, to be a little bit silly. The pool area itself is one of the best I've ever stayed at, it was so good that myself and my girlfriend spent a day at the pool instead of going to the beach. The pool itself is split in 2 with a kiddies pool above a pool for the adults. The pool bar serves a selection of tasty snacks and beers and the staff there are more than helpful. The entertainment provided in the evenings in the bar is only average with karaoke and the like but dont let that put you off. The Natura Sun are located roughly less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and the strip but if you dont fancy the walk try either the Dubliner around the corner or The Cockrel for a bit of tasty grub. We booked through Falcon/Firstchoice and I must admit the excursions on offer werent that good but we did however attend a traditional bullfight and booked the tickets at the Natura's reception. Overall I would definately stay here again."

I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday apart...
"I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday apart from the apartments, the kitchen was filthy and we only received fresh towels twice in our two week stay. The pool was cloudy and five people staying here got ear infections in the two weeks from the pool.
The rep Becky was no help at all as we complained about all of the above and nothing was done about it. The electricity kept tripping out when the cooker was turned on. We were welcomed into our apartment to a flooded kitchen and were not moved, the area is beautiful and the strip is fantastic for young people. I would go back again but not to these apartments.

"This hotel was basic but very very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We went for Christmas and so the weather was rather cool. The rooms do not have central heating but they provided us with an electric heater (without us having to ask) and also extra blankets. These extras helped and we were always comfortable.
The room was huge considering there was only two of us. There was an adequate sized balcony, a sofa bed, a large plastic dining table and the decor was really right and attractive. The kitchen had a washing machine, cooker, coffee maker and fridge with extra storage space. The only thing it didn't have was a kettle but then we found out from others that this was the case for most of the hotels in the area.
We rented a car from through our travel agent from a rent-a-car company across the road from the Natura Sun and this also went very smoothly. The TV's in the rooms are useless but if you're really missing your soaps the friendly bar man or receptionaist will be happy to find the British chanel you're after on the TV in the lobby.
The Natura Sun is somewhat off the beaten track but is only five minutes walk to local ammenites and ten minutes walk to The Strip. We walked most days to Old Town but it's easy enough to get a bus which are very clean and regular.
Even though it was Christmas and every where was a little quiet I would certainly visit the Algarve again at this time of year as it is very relaxing. I would also have no qualms about staying at this hotel again."

"For the person who complained about the cleanliness of the room i could not stress how much i was shocked at hearing this!we stayed (myself and a friend) in october and we found the rooms v clean and I was v pleasantly surprised at the appliances on offer. Our fridge was clean and although we were not near the bar area I do not understand how the music could have kept anyone awake as the only problem i had with the place was that there was actually a lack of entertainment however we were able to walk to the strip at night to make our own entertainment! At this time of year there were many avai;able sunbeds. One other thing that i was a little disappointed with was that there was little on offer to eat in the restaurant just your basic toasties maybe a pizza but by no means were they gourmet meals. If you are one of the lucky few to always stay at 5 star accomodation this would prob not suit but for all other holidaymakers this is a great place to stay!"

enjoyed the hol
"Just back from a week at the natura sun club. Had some difficulty getting to sleep with noise from the bar and pool area on the first night but the rep sorted it out for us and we had no problems after that - however, we did meet some people who said they had no sleep for a whole week, previously, so maybe we just got lucky.
We had a studio which was really huge and had a massive balcony as well. The kitchen was well equipped with a full size cooker, microwave and washing machine and the apartment was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Air conditioning is not available and really is needed during the hot summer months.
The location is very close to the strip and the restaurants in the area are just great, good quality food, plenty of selection and very reasonably priced too. ladies make sure you pay a visit to the Sands beauty salon (on same street as Kilt and Kelt - a couple of hundred yards up, on opposite side of street) the standards are very high and the prices are unbelievably cheap compared to uk and ROI prices - I can recommend the manicure and pedicure with French Polish - costs just 26 euro! and lasted for weeks too!"

Recommend Natura Sun Apartments
"6 of us all in our very early forties! have just returned from a great holiday in Portugal staying in the Natura Sun Apartments. We stayed in three one bedroom apartments each overlooking the pool. The apartments were very spacious and had great facilities including washing machine, microwave, large fridge and all the cooking utensils required. The only things missing were a kettle and more importantly air-conditioning. It was uncomfortably hot a few nights and my advice to anyone going later in the summer would be to purchase a fan for the bedroom or you could have real trouble sleeping. This apartment complex is very safe for children and relatively quiet at night as the entertainment in the complex wasn't up to much. These apartments are great for children and adults alike but you will have to look outside the complex for entertainment. There is nothing for the children during the day apart from the pool. Security in the apartments is very high and all windows and doors can be locked very secuely.
Overall I would recommend these apartments for their size, cleanliness, facilities and security but not the entertainment in the complex."

fab and childfriendly
"pleasantly surprised to see how spacious and clean the rooms were on arrival, for the price we paid were expecting much less. 3 children in tow, so great for all as good pools although freezing. watch out for cots with babies, my little one slept in bed next to me as the matress looked most unsavioury!
good central base, as 15 minutes walk to strip and beach. hired a car, so got most of food shopping at lidls, as half the price of the tourist supermarkets. not much entertainment at night, although anoying loud karioke at times, odd flying ant in room, no kettle, but boiled water in pan for a brew. great having a washing machine, take your own washing powder. am going again so it must be good!"

Very Run Down
"Read a few reports which were quite positive about the Natura so were looking forward to arriving, when we got their though we were totally shocked at the standard of the apartment. Yes they were roomy but the 1st thing that hit us as we walked in was the strong smell of staleness and dampness, to say it was run down was being favourable to it.
Both sets of bed sheets were ripped and had holes in them the kitchen was small and very dated and the appliances were not fit to be used, the fridge was that disgusting we did'nt even keep water in it!!
Arrived at 10pm Saturday night and phoned emergency number at First Choice after speakin to the rep and between them for an extra 26euro we were moved to the Alto da Colina which was absolutely beautiful.
Natura Sun for stags maybe or cheap allocation on arrival but not for money we spent.
Excellent location but in dire need of upgrading, no atmosphere at all
Excellent service from First Choice in getting us moved where we loved the rest of our holiday."
