Stay away if you want to sleep at some point, staff are rude and unprofessional and used condominium in my room!!!
"My six year old daughter and I stayed here first week of June. First day we found a used condom on my bedroom floor!! We stayed directly above the night clubs and the decibels was so loud it was like we was next to the speakers in the nightclubs it’s self until 5am and then before 6 am you have all the maintenance workers cleaning the streets and using electrical saws to trim the trees so we basically had no sleep and was exhausted by the time we arrived home. Reception staff are rude and really unhelpful... we stayed all inclusive and although the food was bland and tasteless, the staff there was kinder and more helpful. They made chips for my daughter even though they don’t have them in the buffet styled restaurant. This place is, if for anyone is for teens and definitely not families or older people. You couldn’t give me a free holiday there."

"Awful service with staff that ignored us, was rude and to absolutely no help at all. Dirty cheats, towls, floors and funiture. Cracked floors. No functioning elevators, aire condition, frige or freezer. Me and my friend ended up paying 55 euros more each and changing to another hotell because nothing was working and the staff didn't care at all. Not even after the company we booked them with caled them and told them to fix the problems, we had waisted two days of our vacation naging and trying to get them to fix the problems! We paid for a non functioning studio and the AC it said that they had they didn't have wen we got there. Never in my life culd I imagen my expirienc there would be so horrible. Don't go there if you don't mind living like a pig with no service! "

âNightmare Hotel!.... Our Rating ( Minus 3* ).â
"Blue Sea St George's Park & La Vallette Resorts Location: Saint Julian's, Island of Malta, Malta, Europe Even after reading a mixed bag of reviews, we thought we'd give the hotel the benefit of the doubters. We mainly use a hotel as a base to... keep warm, toilet, shave, shower, shampoo and sleep. We decided to holiday at this hotel. Well, what can we say!, we've been holidaying for over 43 years in a lot of 1* 2* & 3* & 4* hotels in lots of countries including twice before on Malta. I think that gives us some background experience to give truthful comment. (1) Service. The Reception staff and management were unhelpful and most unprofessional that we've ever experienced in over 43 years travelig The room cleaning staff and House keeping management that we experienced were rude, offensive and cleaning skills leave a lot to be desired. The Kitchen staff were pretty efficient keeping the food stocked in the Food warmer self service station. The Dinning Room waiters and waitresses were professional and did a cracking job. The Bar Staff were a credit, professional, polite, clean and tidy in both their work and personal presentation. (2) Value. We didn't find it value for money!. The hotel is a Summer seasonal hotel which has no heating throughout, and windows missing, doors left open day & night to the entrance to the hotel and to the pool area. It's the only hotel the iv'e ever been to that have the food cooked by private caterers off site, transported to the hotel, then, re-heated by the hotel staff and put out in the food warming self service station. (3) Sleep quality. Very unacceptable, very noisy if you do not take ear plugs. (4) Cleanlness. Rooms supposed to be cleaned every other day! or as in our case not cleaned at all!. (5) Location. Pretty average location, you can access most places and facilities from here. (6) Rooms. Reasonable size living/bedroom, and bathroom suits in need of refurbishment, doors/windows need sealing around the frames. (7) Breakfast. Best average meal of the day!, full English brekky!, shame there was no fried eggs, but that's because the food is prepared off site. soup was nice every day. The rest of the food was about tolerable. We arrived on Thurs 7/2/2013 late afternoon, hotel freeing cold!. We to pulled the bed clothes up to leave the room looking tidy, but the floors and furniture were very dusty and the bath was absolutely filthy it had a dirty old grey mark over it which we had tried to clean ourselves to no evail, thank god we could still shower in the bathroom. Friday stayed local, Freezing cold outside and inside the hotel, no change in temperature there either. Saturday Came back after a day out, found 2 fresh towels placed on the unmade beds and 2 bins emptied, that's what they call cleaning service. Sunday. My wife acquired the dreaded Maltese flu that people are going down with at this hotel. Monday. Day out, late afternoon got back, no room cleaned and hotel freezing cold. Tuesday. Day out, wet and cold. Yet again no room cleaned and hotel freezing cold, spoken to reception re room cleaning and requested bins to be emptied. 4 hours later a maintenance engineer made a further request and the bins were emptied in minutes. Wednesday, decided to re-make the beds as they hadn't been changed in nearly a week. Stripped the beds back to the mattress only to find that iv'e been sleeping on top of a dirty blood stain in the middle of the mattress. I went to reception, give the manager a good talking to. Then 15 minutes later Housekeeping manager and cleaner were squawking at me, "it's because the new management had cut the cleaning to every other day". They agreed to clean the room and change the mattress and that it would be overseen by the house keeping manager. Spent the day out, wet and cold, arrived back at the room late afternoon, looked fairly clean, my bed made properly but wife's bed as she left it bed clothes pulled up to make it look tidy. Hotel freezing cold, we were both going down hill fast with the Maltese Flu. Thurs 14/2/2013 @ 03-00hrs. Got up, going home soon, stripped the bed to the mattress. I always turn the mattress for the next people before we go home!. Guess what's on the other side of the mattress!! Only the same blood stain. what can i say! i was dumb struck. This hotel when refurbished could possibly thrive well in the market. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE MALTA AND THE MALTESE PEOPLE. Stayed February 2013, travelled as a couple. "Myself , my husband and 2 small children stayed at this hotel for a week in february 2013. We booked because of the all inclusive at first, the entertainment programme offered and indoor heated swimming pool. Once there we found the staff great until you had a problem and they didnt want to know then. Rooms and hotel need bit of updating but was clean so no worries there. The food was the worst in over 25years of travelling, not hot at all and not properly cooked. So much so my children who eat really well walked around most time looking at what was on offer and walked away with salad most nights and bread rolls. we eat out alot of the time. there was over 58 people in one week ill, i leave it to your imagination as some people think the food was ok for what you paid and even bland, but bland isnt the right word if the food isnt even heated to right temperature or cooked. the entertainment was a big problem as it was advertised as full entertainment programme. We had nothing of a day at all apart from 2 reps walking around all day every day doing nothing and there was quite a few kids at the hotel at the time. night time programme consisted of 2 hrs ( 1hr bingo bongo and 1hr music ) but not even music kids would recognise. as for the "Heated indoor pool", well what can i say, its never been heated, scum floating on top and surrounding area not been cleaned for a long time. all in all a horrendous holiday and wont be going back ."

"Stayed at this complex in September booking last minute with my friend (we're both 22 but weren't going on a total carnage holiday!)....and we were so surprised at what we found! The hotel is completely fine, the apartments are basic (but clean, tidy and everything in working order!), what else are you expecting? The staff were fine, friendly enough and the other hotel guests were fine too, if you're staying in the Paceville/St Julians area then you need to do research before you stay in a place and slate it, clearly this is a lively resort with music playing nearby til the morning! I have 2 very small negative issues to raise: 1. On arrival we were asked for a deposit, this was never mentioned in any of the booking paperwork, but the staff member was fine fine to waive it after a few words lol. 2. If you mess up the code for the safe, you're screwed lol! You need to get a member of staff up to reset it because it is so complicated to use. Other than this, fantastic complex! Loved the hotel, loved the pool, loved Malta!! Will be back here!"

Keep well away from here
"This is not a family or couples hotel as advertised by holiday companies. We spent only 5 nights, but the food is not edible. The accommodation is so out dated, unfit for occupancy. The best thing for here is for it to be closed down. It was like living in a ghetto at times with fights, sick on the floors lift doors hanging off. I felt so sorry for the people staying with children as the noise was so loud, they could not sleep, waking up so scared when the Italians were banging on doors all hours of the night and early morning. Keep well away and save your money, all the cheap travel companies are still advertising these hotels. When you complained to reception the said what do you expect if you book into student accommodation @ 10 euros a night. We paid loads more than that a night, and others paid twice the price we paid. Total rip off and needs closing down. "
