great hotel !!!
"Just returned from the park lane . Excellent hotel, Andrea and all the staff were brilliant. Everybody at the hotel were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was a problem, they booked resturants for us, taxi's etc at a moments notice and were interested to know how the resturants etc were for us. The transfers to and from the airport was a godsend as it was our first trip to Malta. The rooms are quite large and are cleaned daily. The pool is small but adequate and as it is on the rooftop views are lovley. Smalts which is the resturant and bar serves good food and bevrages. The staff are also very helpful and friendly, espicially carl. We were n the first floor and we had a great chat with the very friendly cleaning lady every morning. On the whole I would recommend the Park Lane to anybody for its great service and friendly staff. We will be back !!!"

Park Lane - Excellent
"I have been to Malta 4 times now with my husband and two children aged 17 and 11. We did have a terrible experience in the Palm Court Hotel and agree with the reviews saying that this hotel is in great need of closure on the island. We found a great hotel just around the corner called the Park Lane Aparthotel, which you have self catering accomodation, however the family own the restaurant below and you can upgrade to half board. The service from the staff is friendly and always helpful, accomodation is kept to a high standard of cleanliness, and food is always well presented in restaurant. Dont let a bad experience with hotel put you off Malta, the people are friendly and I have still not seen all around the island. Get out and find hotel to suit you - ask to see rooms etc before booking and you wont be dissapointed. I did and will be back in Park Lane on the 14th July 2008 and looking forward to it!!"

Excellent Choice for 50th Birthday Celebration
"Park Lane Aparthotel, Malta Date: 12 June 2008 Hilary Leicestershire Stayed at this hotel for a week to celebrate my 50th Birthday. We stayed in a corner suite apartment on the 4th floor with a lovely balcony overlooking views of the local town and the sea beyond. Room and bathroom were clean with linen change and made service daily. The only problem was a smell in bathroom coming from the drain in the sink. We mentioned this to staff and they tried to sort out problem which was alleviated for a time but unfortunately returned after a couple of days - this was not due to cleanliness of bathroom, but the drains. We did not allow this to ruin our stay we found of we ran the tap for a few minutes it would flush the drain through, Staff in hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed on a half board basis and found the food in the restaurant to be of a very good standard with plenty of choice - service was a little slow, particularly at busy times when the restaurant was quite full. Unfortunately we did witness several non residents walking out of restaurant after ordering food as they waited too long to be served! The location of the hotel was perfect - only a short distance from bus station. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and hope to return again in the future. We would certainly recommend the hotel to friends and family."

Enjoyed Park Lane
"We went to this hotel in late May and even though we arrived quite late the hotel was more than happy to provide us with a meal. One of the nicest things about this hotel was the staff who were always very willing to help and always pleasant. Our room needed a bit of updating but saying that the bathroom was lovely. Lovely clean white crisp sheets, comfortable beds and pillows. We were half board but a strange thing was you had to pay for your tea and coffee which is odd especially at breakfast. The food is reasonable but perhaps could do better. The roof top pool is small but there are lovely views. This hotel is well placed for the shops and the bus terminus which made it very easy to get around the island although the buses are an experience in themselves. All in all we enjoyed our time at the hotel."

Marvellous Malta @ PARK LANE
"We have just spent a week at Park Lane and it was first class. The room was beyond expectations, very well set out and equipped with all your kitchen needs, a spacious bathroom with gallons of hot water. The bedroom was very good with comfortable beds with clean white crisp linen. We asked for a balcony with a sea view and it was perfect. The food was excellent , a wide selection of dishes and presented to you in a perfect way. The staff in the restaurant and bar where very pleasant, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The office staff where just as helpful. I would recommend Park Lane to anyone who was considering a trip to Malta, we have been 6 times before and this was our first time at the Park Lane and it will not be our last. Malta is a marvellous island loads of things to do and places to see and a stay at Park Lane just makes the holiday."

welcoming and friendly parklane
"we keep coming back.... parklane has all our needs. Friendly people, great central location to bars, restaurants and of course the bus station.. Great breakfast, spacious & clean rooms, and it is reasonably priced. This will be our 5th time back after a few years. Our kids are now adults and they want to return to the parklane.. we made good friends, and we love the area. You will truly enjoy your stay here."

Not exactly 4 stars
"We spent a couple of weeks at the Park Lane. Like the other reviewers, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. However, the apartment is not what could be considered 4 stars by most Northern European or US standards. The decor was tired and soft furnishings were in need of a clean/ replacement. The 'sofabeds' were just foam in a cover and plonked on a wooden bench with a few cushions thrown on for good measure. The plumbing was poor - the shower could only produce a trickle of luke warm water when positioned above your head. In order to get warm/hot water and a steady stream, you had to crouch down in the bath tub. Overall the cleanliness was fairly good. On the posistive side: ideally located (near bus station); spacious apartment; friendly staff. Note: this hotel is located in Qwara (not in Valletta as suggested on this website!)"

I LOVE PARK LANE IN QWARA, MALTA!!!!
"The Park Lane Aparthotel is the best place to stay in Malta. It's friendly and efficient service, makes the holiday. I have stayed at the Park Lane 7 times now, and will be there again in two months. The people make you feel so welcome it's untrue. It now has a beautifully finished bar and restaraunt, where the food and service is excellent. The cleanliness is faultless and the rooms are well layed out and very spacious whilst being fully equipped with kitchen, large bathroom, dinning table and chairs, cable T.V. and air con units. It's situated a stones throw away from the bus terminal, with a string of shops, bars and restaraunts around it. Its a 2 min walk to the sea front which has exsquisite views of st. Pauls Island. Park Lane is the best place to stay if you're not sure where to stay! A must see is Popeye's village, which is infact owned by the same people as park lane, so you may expect the same welcoming and friendly service you have there. Popeye's village is the film set for the film which starred Robin Williams, and has been turned into a theme park, with rides for young children. All around the village are numerous shows to see, which are performed by an energetic animation team who are hilarious for young and old, and really go the extra mile to make your visit a special one. There are frequent buses there and back and if you are staying with Park Lane you get a discount!! If you go to malta you must go here!"

The friendly Park Lane
"My wife and I have stayed at the Park Lane four times now and have found it to be an excellent choice. It is a family owned and run hotel and we have found all the staff there to be very warm and friendly as are all the Maltese people. It is situated very close to the bus terminus and there are numerous bars and shops all around. It is within walking distance of the promenade, and the centre of Bugibba.Travelling time is 30-40 mins from Luqa airport. The Park Lane is not in any brochure,so you book direct with the hotel."
