Absolutely perfect!

"This place was absolutely perfect. What more can I say? From the moment we arrived, Guisy and her husband Tony made us feel so very welcome at their family-run BnB. We had an amazingly spacious, immaculate room that was newly decorated and packed full of homely touches as well as necessities like air-conditioning. Much more than I expected from a BnB. The room also had two private balconies both of which had stunning views of the Bay of Naples -- perfect for alfresco dining or relaxing with a glass of Limoncello (the local aperitif). Tony and Guisy were on hand whenever we needed them, to ensure we had the perfect holiday. In the mornings, we were presented with a lovely, light breakfast of fresh fruit (possibly hand-picked from their garden), breads, pastries and yoghurt. We even got to sample Guisy's homemade watermelon ice cream. They were both very warm and friendly and full of really useful information about Capri's attractions and how to get around. Well worth a visit, you definitely won' t regret it."

"The reviews say it all!, this is far enough from the night life to have peace and quiet, but is close enough to walk into Capri and enjoy the buzz of restaurants, shops and the access to all modes of transport. If you use the tramcar from the Harbour, the walk to Aiano BB along Via Aiano di Sopra is a relatively flat walk. Tony (host) was a wealth of information, and is really passionate about capri. The rooms and even the breakfast area under the tree on the patio have the greatest views of capri, the harbour and north to the Bay of Naples. The rooms with your own sun patio are large clean, cool and have large bathrooms, we enjoyed the stay so much we will definitely be planning a return visit."

"I agree with ALL the other reviews, which you will note are perfect. You can certainly spend more money on this island for accomodations, but I would rather spend the money on wine and food. With an enjoyable 10 min walk to town, unbelievable views, large spotless rooms and great hosts, stop researching and start booking!"

"Extremely well located right between Capri and Anacapri (only a ten minute walk to the center of Capri) or you can take the bus right in front of the property for a three minute ride to either side. This place is magic, and when we write this place we mean the Aiano bed and breakfast. Our room was huge with a magnificent terrace overlooking the bay of Capri. On our 21 days trip to Italy this was the perfect place to relax. Capri and Anacapri are beautiful, but staying in our room looking at the sunset drinking a bottle of wine was priceless!. We sincerely recommend this place. Tony and his wife go the extra mile in every aspect, they wil bring you breakfast to bed or terrace at the time of your preference. Another plus is that Tony can tell you by looking at the sea if the Blue Grotto is going to be open or not! Overall an excellent experience!"

"We have to say that we agree wholeheartedly with all the previous reviews of Aiano B&B. It is situated in the most perfect spot on this most stunning of islands! The view from our terrace, where we ate breakfast every morning, was breathtaking and it was only a short 10 minute walk into the centre of Capri Town. Tony, our host, was most attentive and helpful. He recommended a very reasonably priced restaurant, owned by friends of his, in Anacapri and even arranged for us to be collected and taken there by car. He speaks the most perfect English and the moment our shutters rolled up in the morning, our breakfast was immediately on the table! Our suite was immaculate and there was also a lounge area to relax in and we had a lovely view of Capri from inside the apartment from the end balcony. You could sit in bed and watch the lights of Capri at night - wonderful! We would definitely recommend Aiano for anyone planning to visit Capri as it is ideally situated, beautifully presented, excellent service and the views - out of this world!! You will not be looked after any better anywhere else on Capri, so our advice is book early - you will not be disappointed!"

"Wow... I don't know what more to say. Capri is absolutely beautiful. Myself, my fiance and two best friends visited Italy in February and I have to say Capri was at the top of our list- and one of the main reason was our AMAZING B&B. The Aiano Bed and Breakfast is run by Tony and his wife. Both were extremely helpful and so welcoming. We could not have asked for better hosts. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in Capri!!!! (sorry it took this long to write) We have many pictures and I will be adding video of the actual room very soon! Jen, Dave, Jen & Ross!"

"Stayed at Aiano 3 nights in March. Terrific view of the bay of Naples. We had a large room with sitting area plus flower-bedecked patio. Excellent breakfast with oranges off the trees. Easy walk into Capri town, bus at the door to go to Anacapri. Perfect for those who prefer warm, personal service outside of a large hotel setting. Tony is an excellent innkeeper."

"Wow! What a view from our private deck! A panoramic from the deep blue sea, across the island and to a castle sitting on top of a peak. It does not get much better than this... Forget the "4 star" hotel chains...Aiano B&B on Capri Island was so much better. Clean, classy, newly remodeled, and the service was outstanding. And how nice that the owner speaks English too! This one is totally worth the price and more. Thumbs up! WE LOVED IT!"

A Wonderful Bed and Breakfast

"My husband and I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in many B&Bs. The Aiano was definitely one of our favorites and Capri was one of the most beautiful places we have visited. Tony Astarita and his lovely wife Jiusy and their children Alessandro and Francasca are exceptional hosts and a wonderful family. By the time we left we felt like part of their family. Tony has traveled the world, speaks 4 languages, is a tour guide, has a travel business and was extremely helpful with our itinerary. When he tells you something you can be sure it is the truth. When you arrive by taxi it is only 16 steps and 320 feet to the Aiano Gate. The bus stop is 2 minutes from the B&B, across the street and it is only an 8-10 minute walk to the center of Capri (The Piazza). It is a 5 minute walk to the market and everything is convenient and accessible, yet away from the crowds. Tony will meet you at the taxi and help you with your luggage. It is very easy to get there. As you can see by our photos the view is breathtaking and probably the best view on the island. Our room was spectacular, clean with fresh sheets and towels daily and spotless, and it was wonderful to sit in the evening and see the activity down at the Marina Grande with all the cruise ships and boats. There is always activity but you feel like you are away from the tourists in your own private escape villa. Breakfast is served on the terrace and consists of fresh figs, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh rolls and cappuccino or coffee. We came for 5 days and stayed for 9. Am I being too complimentary? Well, there is not enough room to say it all but the Aiano B&B and Tony and Jiusy made our trip to Capri a very memorable one and we will be back. Ciao. Judy and Bill"
