"Excellent customer care by the representatives. Nothing was too much trouble. Wish we had taken our grandson with us. He would have loved the site. Plenty to do for the youngsters, it would have been hard to pull him away from the site.
The town of Wassenaar was lovely and the people very friendly. The site itself was kept very clean and tidy. The caravan we had was clean and apart from the door deciding to come apart everything else was as it should be. Useful to have a separate toilet and bathroom.
We loved the ducks that frequented our doorstep as soon as we woke up for the daily breakfast.
No complaints at all."

the kids will love it
"On the whole camp Duinrell worth going to if you have kids.
Negative points first.
Camp hard to find, hardly any signs for Wassenaar until you get near it. Buy a really good map or you could find yourself driving around The Hague in circles.
Avoid the on site restaurant and smaller food outletss, food not very good and opening hours tend to vary a lot. Camp supermarket way over-priced and they easily run out of bread and milk. Best to stick to restaurants in nearby town of Wassenaar if you don't want to cook. Pancake house just outside main gate really good but beware they close at 8.30. Quite a few restaurants close early in Wassenaar. Make sure you take a lot of the basic food you need with you. The Irish pub is pretty grot as well.
Great for kids, nice theme park and swimming pool. You can hire pedal go karts and bikes and all sorts of things on wheels. Whole place really well landscaped. You'll like it as well cos in general they manage to avoid the usual tacky theme park/camping site atmosphere.
Swimming pool is great but will be very crowded if you get in free with your holiday tickets. For 10 Euros for 2 adults and 2 kids you can go at a less crowded time.
Town of Wassenaar very nice and only ten minute walk away, lots of cafes (just as well cos you won't get a decent cup of coffee on site) shops and a fair few restaurants.
Would say place ideal for kids from 7 to 14. Over or under this age and some things could be too old or young for them. There is only one white knuckle ride in park and it's not really a "Big teenager" kind of place. The smaller kids won't be able to go off on their own without supervision.
On the whole would say this is a very good place to go......................."

"Brilliant site weather in September very mild much the same as England, tour reps very efficient, however due to trouble earlier in the year on arrival we were told that entertainment by the tour reps was nil. And if you are placed at the front of the camp to expect some noise from delivery lorries from 5.30 in the morning.
Noise which was requested by the campsite to be kept to a minimum after 11.00pm was disregarded especially by larger groups of teenagers who also tended to congregate in certain areas of the camp.

"This site is amazing. It is great for a holiday with young or teenage children due to the theme park incorporated into the site, which has thrill rides and smaller amusements. Although the climate is very similar to the UK so if you are looking for sun I do not recommend this place.
Most of the holiday companies offer a two hour visit to the superb water park once a day. I recommend you take advantage of this and you also chose to visit in the morning as early as possible to avoid it being busy.
I recommend this site as a place to go for a short break at a half term and you wonât be disappointed."
