"This is an excellent hotel. Upon arrival they checked us in even though we were very early and stored our baggage securely. The rooms are very clean and the staff extremely helpful. Although I only stayed on a room only basis, what I saw of the bar/restaurant looked very good. The bar has a very warm, friendly atmosphere and has pictures all over the walls of the stars who have stayed there. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel because it is bang in the centre of the city and provides a very relaxing place to stay. "

Amsterdam is a city of extremes, from it...
"Amsterdam is a city of extremes, from its elegantly restrained canal-side houses to the gaudy red-light district. It is a city for everyone, whether you are there to enjoy some art and culture or on a stag or hen party, Amsterdam fulfils all those needs. The Crowne Plaza is very close to the shopping districts and a stones throw away from the main train station. It is individual enough for you to know you are in Holland but it is comforting to be part of a large chain. The city centre itself is beautiful, the flower markets excellent and the canal views beautiful. The Anne Frank museum is the best museum in Amsterdam, but the Reikstag was disappointing due to the closure of most of the museum. We had a wonderful trip and would go back again."
