Cape Kanapitsa Hotel & Suites
3 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
"This hotel used to overlook one of the best beaches on the island, peaceful and pretty. Alas no longer. The Salty Bone disco pub now inflicts it's thudding disco music on the entire beach from early morning onward. It is constant, monotonous, and so loud you can hear it from this hotel. DON'T GO IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY."

very bad service and attitude from senior management
"I booked Kanapitsa cape over the phone and credit card.
i arrived late as i had informed the reception.
when i arrived there was no double room as per my reservation but only twin rooms.
reception apologised and advised there were double rooms available but at a higher rate. she then called the manager (and owner i understand) who without showing any sign of apology asked me to either take it or leave it, and if i didnt like the deal i could just leave the hotel.
I ended up leaving at 23:00 looking for a hotel in the night.
i resorted to the hotel next door Kanapitsa mare, who i found out afterwards is owned by the same person.
i was initially shown a room that in the next morning i was asked to vacate because it was of a higher rate than the one offered when i arrived.
the spa and massage advertised also didnt work and during the night water came in the room due to a leak in the corridor.
i left the area completely and stayed at atrium hotel down the road which was an oasis compared with the dodgy feel of these two hotels.
i wouldnt like anyone clueless as i was to end up in the same situation of having to choose integrity or looking for a hotel at night

"As a family of 5 we stayed in an apartment at Cape Kanapitsa and had the best holiday we had ever had! The apartment was very clean and spacious and well equipped.
From the balcony we had views over the bay to Skiathos Town, the islands of Argos and Tsougria and also views of Kanapitsa and Nostos beach. There were two pools (salt-water) and a lovely sundeck that had spectacular views. The staff were friendly and helpful and when we stayed there the complex, which is made up of apartments and hotel rooms, was surprisingly quiet despite it being half-term.
We were impressed by their website but the real thing was much better! We would recommend this place to anyone - the only downside was having to come home."
