After best holidays
I wish to thank you once more for pleaseant stayed and delight place in your hotel.
The room was very comfortable with the balcony and the seaview,.
It was a pleaseant sometimes wake up in the early morning, stayed in the balcony and sight the sun rising with another nearby or enjoy a good book after a sun day!
The organization was excellent and the same the hospitality of the staff, very friendly and warmy. The really good food of the breakfast, we have appreciated it a lot of (remember we come from Italy, the country of good food!).
The best thing is the unique feeling that you bring home, the unforgettable holiday in the Armonia Bay Hotel !

Great location, only a few minor negatives
"We returned from a 5 night stay at Armonia Bay a week ago. A holiday here isnât an adventurous experience, but if itâs relaxation in the sunshine you want then youâll certainly find it here.
This hotelâs location is the âwowâ factor. The views from all parts of the hotel and the swimming pool are panoramic and scenic.
Tsamadou beach is only a few steps away if you like being close to the sea, but youâll need some sturdy shoes to cope with the steep pebbly incline of the beach. There are only a couple of sandy beaches on the island so a car is essential if you want to get to them. The hotel pool offers a great opportunity for swimming â itâs large and well kept.
The staff at Armonia Bay were friendly but appeared somewhat disorganised when handling basic tasks involved in the running of the hotel, for instance having to be reminded about a pre-requested taxi booking, problems working out our bill, and arranging for our room to be cleaned.
Rooms are spacious and clean. We were a little disappointed to find that although we'd asked for a double we had a room with two single beds pushed together. The air con didnât work particularly well and the hotel explained they were having problems with the central control of the system, but luckily it was resolved in a day. We loved the sea-view from our large balcony.
The hotel does help you feel that you're "getting away from it all". In fact we were the only British people there. It does seem very popular with Dutch, German and Flemish visitors.
The nearby town of Kokkari provides plenty of restaurants, but youâll need to do some searching to find one which is a little more unique than the standard tourist set-up. Whichever one you go to you can get a table just metres away from the sea.
Our tips for a holiday in Samos would be to hire a car / jeep/ moped to properly explore the island. And donât go on one of the boat trips from Pythagorio without a taste for Ouzo or Greek humour!"

"The Armonia has to be one of the most relaxed hotels I've ever stayed in. We especially liked it as there were no children at the time of our visit which made it even more relaxing and peaceful. The pool area was lovely, offering fantastic views over the bay area. We especially liked the relaxed rules which enabled you to take you own drinks to the pool area and patio.
The walk into Kokkari was approximately 25 mins, but we found this comfortable after relaxing all day.
The rooms were spacious, clean and the bed linen seemed to be changed every day The breakfast was buffet style and offered a good choice with plenty for everyone.
Our only winge would be our so called garden view which was totally obscured by a tree that hadn't been pruned and looked like it would take over our balcony. There was also some early morning road noise which woke us a few times."

Well Kept Secret - at Least in America
"My wife and I started in Chania, Crete, ferried to Santorini and then flew to Samos before ending our trip in Athens. The hotel's website is pretty good but I was nervous because there were almost no TA reviews. Not to worry! We reserved the suite (100E) for four days and were very pleased with the accomodations. The rooms were not fancy, but spacious with a terrific balcony. All three shuttered windows opened to balconies and great views. The common areas are very refined with a nice breakfast area and a bar. It was the very end of the season (Oct 11) so there were only 3-6 rooms out of 24 occupied. The infinity pool is new and the beach is just below the property and an easy walk. I have never seen clearer water.
Anna and Elpita (sp) were very hospitable and met all of our requests. I commented that I liked the Greek music that was playing and the next day was given a CD to add to my collection.
A rental car is a must as this is a great island to explore. We also did the day trip to Ephesus which was terrific.
This hotel is popular with the Europeans but few Americans have found it. Highly recommended."

"This was a superb hotel! We loved the setting, the hotel personnel, the beach and the perfect water, the view from our room. Everything. There are two tavernas just up from the beach serving very good food with a beautiful view. We will definitely return to this hotel. The only thing is that we wished there was food service near-by in the evening. The tavernas only serve until 6pm and there was very limited food service from the hotel bar and on the days that we took all-day ferry trips, we didn't want to go all the way into Kokkari for dinner."

Very friendly & relaxed hotel
"After a week's holiday at Armonia Bay Hotel, I can recommend it to others. We (family of four) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this friendly and relaxed hotel. The service and good nature of the staff was excellent - they were immensely helpful when we moved from double rooms to the ground-floor apartment even though it meant paying less on the bill. They were also always ready with advice on places to eat/see/shop.
The hotel is a short walk down a wooded path to Tsamadou Beach which was wonderful to swim in and explore, worth bringing snorkel & mask. Our teenage kids would probably have welcomed a pool on site - one is being built and is meant to be ready this year - but the beach is fantastic and the sea is crystal-clear.
The seaside resort of Kokkari is a short drive away and has lots of restaurants/cafes to choose from."

Wrner Brunner's review
"For the first time in my long holiday trip-history I returned to the same hotel for a second time and this already in the following year. This has been made true not just by myself but also by 5 other friends. What I realized, quite a lot of other guest come again and again.
The Armonia Bay Hotel has turned out to be a lucky hit for us, we found it by chance. It is an ideal address and basis for a group like us, hiking throughout the day and swimming in the evening in the Tsamapou Bay just in front of the terrace, to be reached through a nice olive plantation without the need of crossing a street. Sitting on the terrace in the evening, having a trink from the bar and looking just on nature arround has been an unforgettable experience.
We have got used to quite a lot of holiday hotels, lot of them are also efficient and nice, but there is hardly one like the Armonia Bay Hotel, where we have been given such a personal attentiveness and kindness like here. And this has a name: Anna`s natural kindness is the guarantee of always feeling good during unfortunately too short holidays."

excellent services in a wonderful place
"The first impression you get is a warm welcome in a paradise corner! Immediately afterwards you realize that the hotel really offers spectacular views and that the hotel staff is always helpful and very polite. Moreover the hotel location is very good (15 Km from Vathy, 2 Km from Kokkari): either if you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation, having the possibility to reach the beach by a short walk under enchanting old olive trees, or if you prefere to visit the rest of the island (the bus stop is very near, otherwise you can rent a car or a scouter): don't loose fantastic surroundings and breathtaking views. Enjoy the patio of the hotel, not only in the morning for the nice and fresh breakfast buffet, while the blue of the sea looses itself in the light blue of the sky beyond cypresses and olive trees, but also in the evening, delighted by the sunset or trying to catch the sight of Turkey's lights just in front of you."
