Sunrise Hotel Ireon Samos
2 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
Friendly, family run, hotel with pool
"My wife and I have recently returned from another wonderful holiday in Samos, staying at the Sunrise Hotel in the small resort of Ireon.
Popi and her family look after their guests very well, and nothing is too much trouble.
Sea view rooms get great views of the sunrise over Turkey, if you are up early enough. If you do not want it too bright in the morning ask for a room overlooking the pool and pine woods.
Buffet breakfast and air conditioning is included in the price and the rooms are kept spotlessly clean.
Relaxing by the pool or on one of the beaches in the village, Ireon is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday.
Car hire is recommended to see some of the many sights to visit on the island although a bus service does serve the village on a daily basis. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced.
There is also a cash machine in the village square."

A lovely hotel where Popi and her family...
"A lovely hotel where Popi and her family look after you very well. Nothing is too much trouble and service is always provided with a smile.
Great sea views over to Turkey and the sunrise is well worth seeing if you can manage to get up in time, or just leave your curtains and shutters open and watch from your bed!
Breakfast can be taken from the hotel terrace overlooking the small harbour with small fishing boats coming and going.
A quiet resort but with a good selection of tavernas to choose from, ranging from those on the waters edge to those back a street or two."
