"The reception staff and porters are very friendly & helpful as if nothing was too much, especially Reema & Jenny. The hotel is very clean and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable. The location is handy as it's away from the loud bars etc but still only a 10 min walk to nightlife.
We really was not impressed with how staff managed the dress code as it was advertised as cocktail dress. People were wearing flip flops & strap tops etc yet our tailored long story with shirt were not accepted. They changed the dress code on the entrance to smart casual but shorts were still not allowed but flip flops etc were still being worn!
The food was limited in amount of dishes on offer and drinks were expensive. One day at the pool bar a coffee was 7 euro 50 but two days later was 5 euro. Lucia was the best restaurant waitress for sure :)
We love Zante & are returning customers but we stayed in a 4 star last time and in some ways it was a better hotel. "

"Stayed at the Lesante in June after our original hotel was overbooked and think it definitely worked out to our advantage. The hotel was first class. It is in a nice quiet location on the edge of the resort but only a five minute walk into town. We went b & b and the food was very good, we also ate dinner there one night which was nice. The drinks at the hotel however are very expensive and also the food at the pool bar. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the concierge who was usually working in the latter part of the day. We ate out at a number of restaurants in the resort which were all very good. The Balcony Hotel, which is right on top of the hill behind the hotel, served an excellent meal, reasonably priced, with stunning views especially at sunset. We also went several times to the little Paradise Taverna on the pathway from the hotel to the beach which served nice food and drinks overlooking the beach. Overall we had a lovely holiday made even more special by the excellent standard of the hotel."

Great hotel forget the 'teething problems'.
"We had 2 weeks here over May/June. Only criticism was the cost of drinks, like others we used the supermarket at the end of the approach road and drank water during the day. Dont understand the critisism of the staff as all staff from cleaners to concierge and managers were brilliant, I'm an ex Head Chef and my wife a very fussy veggie so we only ate at the hotel on the first day. The Paradiso Taverna by the beach was really good food/value, the Taverna in Acrotiri (dont quote the spelling) was another great find. Tsilivi town was a huge disappointment but dont let that stop you visiting the hotel. Overall not much to see or do on Zante but top hotel. We booked this hotel before it had opened and were nervous, but apart from some of the Spa (steam room and sauna), and the satellite TV (who wants to watch TV when it's 35 degrees outside?), our fears were unfounded. Not sure we would go back to Zante but if we did it would definitely be to this hotel."

"This was our first time to Zante & we decided to book the Lesante Hotel, we definatley made the right choice as the Hotel is fantastic.
The only problem is the bar prices are very high 10.50 euro for a cocktail & 4.50 euro for a small beer!!! when outside the Hotel cocktails from 3.50 euro & beer from 1.50 euro.
We were only Bed & Breakfast so ate lunch & dinner out in Tsilivi centre which has a fantastic choice of restaurants & bars.
I would reccomend lunch at Mango which is a short walk from the Hotel situated on the beach, really friendy staff & great food, they also have a night Club Mambo which is in the centre & serve's fantastic cocktails at really good prices.
We also done a couple of excursions & would recommend if you book Shipwrecked go VIP as you get to the spot before the big boats holding 300 plus people, it gets very very busy."

"Had a superb week at the hotel ,everything came up to our expectations and we thoroughly recommend this hotel. Quiet around the pool although we had the only teenagers there they still enjoyed it. We bought drinks and ice cream at the local supermarket and put them in the room mini bar ,saved quite a bit of money as drinks around the pool expensive with kids."

High Quality Hotel
"This hotel is undoubtedly the most stylish and modern hotel in Zakynthos. We found it to be really quiet and liked that very much. The hotel and its rooms are exactly as shown in the photos on the official site. The pool ..amazing! The room very clean, with a big comfy sofa and a nice flat Tv. The bathroom has a hairdrier and a magnifying mirror along with a nice selection of bathroom items. Liked the food very much, maybe the breakfast needs a little diversity, but the dinner was perfect. The service was impressive and the staff was quick and professional, friendly, couldn't do enough for you.. The hotel provides all you need during your stay. The location is pretty good, only a 2 minute walk to the beach and 500 m from the restaurants and stores area.
Disliked: very high prices on all drinks ( 3 euro for one litre of water, 6 euro for a small beer, over 25-30 euro for a bottle of wine) and also the rooms making up was between 11 AM until late noon."

Hotel with the WOW Factor
"The hotel had only been open a couple of days when we arrived and there were teething problems, but it certainly did not spoil our holiday.
A glass of champagne on arrival was very welcome. we were shown to our room by one of the owners sons, who was very heplful. Then we saw our room wow, falt screen tv, leather sofa, tastefully decorated, mini bar, overlooking the beautiful pool area. The bathroom had a powershower that really was amazing, double basins, just great, nice toiletries perfect,
Ok the spa was not up and running, but we ladies were offered a complimentry manicure
as an apology , the restaurant was also not up and running properly but the food was fine, and I am sure by now everything will be ok.
The person who remarked on rhe prices of the drinks does have a point they were expensive, but the supermarket up the road, is very well stocked.."

Plushest hotel in Zante
"lesante spa zante
Just returned from a week in this new hotel, june 3rd.
considering it has just opened the running of this hotel was faultless, staff were very competent, fixtures and fittings to die for.It does what it says on the tin,5 Star all the way.Not the hotels fault but the beach could do with a bit of a tidy up.Hired a scooter from Theos rentals(in the centre) for a couple of days and saw the island with the help of a detailed "must see" map kindley put together by the hotel porter who is a fountain of knowledge on the area, some of these sights are not to be missed, dont forget to take passport and driving license to hire a vehicle and beware of potholes!"

A beautiful hotel!
"Stayed at the hotel with my wife during the half-term holiday and had an absolutely superb time.
The hotel is immaculate having only been open for a couple of weeks but the attention to detail is amazing.
It is extremely luxurious, rooms, lounges, gardens and pool area are all magnificent.
Staff are so helpful, warm and friendly and although there were one or two teething problems due to the hotel's newness, these problems were quickly rectified - e.g. safe wouldn't work initially.
Went half board and the breakfasts and evening meals were excellent - not over-facing, very well presented and tasty!
Only had two complaints - drink prices are a little high e.g. 6 euros for a small bottle of lager - and the computerised grand piano in the main lounge area plays the same tunes continously.
The hotel is 150m from Tsilivi beach which I think is over-rated - tatty sunbeds, sand not great - and just 100m from a very well-stocked supermarket.
At the end of the road to the beach, and overlooking the sea, is a lovely taverna - the Paradise Taverna - meals and drinks are very well priced and the owner (Vicky) is fabulous.
Overall, had a great week in a superb hotel on a beautiful island."

"Had excellent holiday, the staff could not do enough for you. Food was excellent, smoked salmon and scrambed egg at breakfast, meals in the evening were good. The rooms were lovely, power shower, flat screen tv, leather sofa, nice comfy bed. pool area was lovely, nice and relaxing. The hotel wasn't completely finished when we were there, like the spa, but it didn't spoil the holiday, I bet it is even better and I am thinking whether to go back next year because we had such a good time."

Poor food, Poor Service
"Have just returned from the Lesante Hotel in Zante. This is a very modern, stylish hotel, only 3 mins walk to beach & 10 min walk to bars & shops. The rooms are beautiful and kept clean. However the hotel is let down by the poor food and even worse service, especially in the restaurant. The choice of food was very limited but this may have been because the hotel was quite quiet being brand new, but the quality of food had a lot to be desired especially at the beginning of the holiday when it was at its worst. The choice was what you would expect in a 3*.The food was better after the first week but no-where near what you would expect in a 5* hotel.
The staff in the restaurant have no idea how to serve in this type of hotel , you were rarely asked for your drinks order and had to attract attention to order and then they would rush after you when leaving to sign the bill. Dirty plates were left on the tables and you often had to ask for them to be cleared. The staff tended to stand around talking to each other more than doing their job. This was a shame as I personally think the two most important things when paying for this type of hotel are food & service and these were the two worst parts to the hotel. The staff need some 5* training!
We still enjoyed our holiday as Zante has some beautiful scenery but we didn't receive the quality from the hotel that I had wanted and certainly paid for."
