"Absolutely beautiful, clean, friendly and above all a truly lovely location away from nightlife bit not too far. Very peaceful during the day and only ten-minute walk from nightlife. Owners and staff so friendly. We are staying again in August 2017 xxx "

"My girlfriend and I stayed at the Manousis in early September for 7 nights, and really enjoyed it. It's in a great location, a quiet spot about a 10 minute walk from the main road through Tsilivi, and about the same distance from the beach. Zakynthos Town is about 15 minutes by car away or about an hour walking, but I wouldn't want to risk walking the road to be honest. The pool area was clean and quiet, the pool itself cold but always clean. Unfortunately there were a group of loud-mouthed, somewhat lairy guests staying at the same time, drinking most of the day at the poolside which got tedious, but they were pleasant enough and were usually in bed at a decent time. We got talking to most of the guests staying there and were all friendly. Rooms were basic but had everything you need, and were well-maintained and clean. The only fault we had was the bathroom flooding the first time the shower was used, but only because of the small drains, and was fine after that. Yianis and Rula were always friendly, helpful and asking if we were enjoying ourselves, and had good food at a reasonable price... definitely recommend the tzatziki. Great hosts. Tsilivi itself is a great little resort. It was the third time I'd been and have enjoyed it every time. We hired a car for a day and went around the island, and still think Tsilivi is the best resort on the island. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars, particularly the Majestic restaurant - Great food at really good prices, and Dimitri and all the staff are really helpful. Would also recommend Anna's bar in the Amarylis apartments just for the hospitality alone, really nice family, and the Joker bar, although we went late in the season, and think it'd be full with lairy lads in the peak season. All the staff in there were spot on. Had good flights there and back with Monarch, Zante airport being an absolute breeze to get through. We travelled with Olympic and our rep was helpful and was at the apartments 3 times while we were there. The welcome meeting was worth a visit, getting some decent info we didn't know. The excursions through the operator were abit expensive, but there are plenty of places in Tsilivi to book your own, which we decided to do, and booked a trip around the island by boat for 20 euros per person. Nothing much to see on the east side of the island bar loads of cliff faces, so a trip to the shipwreck and back is all that's needed really. Would definitely recommend the Manousis apartments and plan to go again at the same time next year, found the early september timing just right, still a fair few people about, but starting to wind down for the season."

Great place to stay
"We have just got back from a fantastic holiday, and this is all thanks to all the lovely staff at the Manousis appartments. The appartments and pool area was left extremely clean at all times and the food from the bar was cooked fresh and great value. These appartments are a great location as it is a 5 min walk to the bars and shops, the BBq night was not to be missed. We have booked to go back next year as we think all in all extremely good value and a lovely place to stay."

a place to go
"This was a friendly, family run accommodation with excellent facilities. Apartments were spacious, very clean and well maintained. During our stay we did not experience any rowdy or noisy guests. Due to the small number of apartments it was very friendly. The owners do a greek night once a week if there is enough interest which was a very good evening with good food and entertainment. Even though there was people 'saving' sunbeds there were still some availble to use around the pool area. You were able to keep your room on after giving the owner appropriate notice at a small charge. There is a short walk into town with a selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Also a short walk to the beach. Will definitely revisit again."

Manousis studios, Tsilivi - don't go!
"We were very disappointed with this accommodation. It is not possible to sleep past 8am because of the noise from other guests and the pool area, and then the same problem at night - noise from the pool bar and drunken guests returning from Tsilivi town. Unless you sleep with all doors and windows shut you will be woken up frequently. Part of the problem seems to be the owners letting to large groups - we had a party of 13 spread out through the apartment block, with another party of 20 expected next week - the fight for sunbeds and space in the pool starts around 6am! The standard of cleaning was very poor. Our balcony was topped twice during a two-week stay. The studio is 'cleaned' every day, with clean sheets every 3-4 days. Cleaning was very late, our room was often not made up until after 4pm and only once in 2 weeks did it smell fresh - every other day it smelled as though the mop had been dipped in cheese. The floors were still dirty after cleaning - we kept our shoes on after showering in the end! A glass we bought was taken from the room by the cleaners as were any spare plastic bags you left lying around! The bar doesn't open until around 9-9.30am and is full of flies. The rooms are described as having a variety of facilities, e.g. air con, toaster, hairdryer - we had none of these and other people had some but not all. No-one had air con, although you could rent a fan for 4 euros a night. If you're looking for any onsight entertainment, you're out of luck - the owners do one night a week, if there's sufficient interest. We were left without a room or any secure storage for our bags for 16 hours on our last day after being told rudely and loudly (and in front of other guests) by one of the owners we had to be out of our room at 12pm, even though we didn't fly until 5.30am! Apparently this was because the 14th night we thought we'd paid for actually was the night we spent travelling from Gatwick to zante, when our room sat empty. As indeed it will be tonight as our vacated room is still empty, and we are camped out on sun beds until 4am when our transfer bus arrives. Despite there being two empty rooms clearly evident, neither have been offered to the 8 people with nowhere to store anything, wash, keep baby food cold etc - very disappointing standard of service and consideration for guests. There is no way we would come back here again, or recommend it to anyone else."

lovely apartments shame about some guests
"my family and i have just returned from the manousis we read all the reviews nice and quiet, for the first four nights we did not sleep, there was a group of girls staying on our floor who made enough noise for the whole of zante when they were getting ready to go out and even more nosie when they come back at 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning. even worse was the Barbeque night one of the guest thought he was elvis and sang till 3/4 oclock in the morning, when he finished we got a short nap untill the girls came back.on the last night they were there they never went out so we had to listen to them all night until 2 o'clock then they decided to go in the pool for a swim that went on till about 4. lucky for us they were only there for four days.no point complaining as they owners were very friendly with this group.I must add it is a lovely place as long as your other guest are not going to Laganas every night, why they did not stay there i dont know. Nice apartments, shame about the idiots.
"My girlfriend and i have just returned from two weeks at the Manousis apts, we read so much before we booked and noticed reports about how friendly the owners were etc etc...giving 9 and even 10 out of 10, however i would like to report the following: The apts ARE spacious, very clean and comfortable,we were in the second block away from the pool which suited us fine. From Sunday thro to the first Thursday it was bliss, the pool was quiet, the people were very nice, mainly other couples and lots of people who return year after year, seeking the peace and quiet, THEN the coach from London turned up and out popped 14 teenage girls who turned out to be the most foul-mouthed, rude and arrogant bunch of %%%%^^ i've ever seen, they brought food to the pool, brought their music ( full-on ) to the pool and generally broke every rule and showed no respect to other holiday makers. Both myself and my partner asked them to be quiet AND most other people complained to Yanni and Sakki and Rula but nothing was done, so much for the zero-tolerance of anti-social behaviour!. We ended up hiring a car and using the beach and other pools because it was just too much. We were very diappointed that the owners turned a blind eye. The BBQ/QUIZ did nothappen due to "lack of interest", when i enquired to Rula about the free car for the prize i was told "no there is no car to win for a day", so this doesn't happen guys!. On not one occaision were we asked if we were ok, having a nice time blah blah...the island is wonderful, the guy at the supermarket at the end of the track is so friendly, his wife even brought us honey cake. You cannot go out at night without mosquito repellent, you will be bitten to death. We loved Zante, we met lots of great people at Manousis but i think they will lose some loyal customers if they let large groups of teenagers stay from now on. The rep Martina was no help either, the map you get a the meeting has been drawn by a chimp!.Shame as it could be a ten from us, but we give it a six. The Nemerosa bar down the lane has a great pool and lovely people, Dimitri esp.Tsilivi is gorgeous but we will not return to the Manousis again."

Wonderful holiday at Manousis, Tsivili
"Had a wonderful 11 days at the Manousis Studios. Stayed in the little bungalow as we booked direct and not through Olympic as my son's girlfriend, Mavra, is Greek and we came to Zakynthos to meet her family. Yiannis and Sakis both extremely helpful. Everything was exceptionally clean. We ate breakfast at the bar each day and had several evening meals there-very good food. The weekly Greek night was very good and good value. Hope to holiday there again."

Excellent and highly recommended!
"May 2010 Just got back from the Manousis Studios after two weeks of thorough relaxation and slobbing out!!! It was the holiday I needed and would DEFINITELY go back! 10/10!!!! Your hosts: Brothers Yanni and Sakki could not be more helpful. They are so accommodating and work so hard to look after you! Thanks guys!! Also Roula who seemed to be there all day every day keeping the place clean and tidy as well as cooking some great meals. The apartments: basic, but VERY clean and tidy, and maintained to a high standard. The kitchen consists of a sink, fridge, and twin electric hob and grill...I didn't cook but you would be fine to self-cater. Safety deposit boxes were £17 for two weeks. Didn't need air con as being May, the evenings were quite cool. The pool area: very clean and tidy with plenty of sun-loungers and brollies. The pool is cleaned daily. Quite peaceful but like any accommodation, could get noisey....all depends on the guests. The bar area: lovely and clean, and plenty of choice of drinks. A large TV so if you want to chill watching the footie, you can. Food: plenty of choice of meals.....all freshly prepared and generous portions. Location: PERFECT! In a quite location surrounded by plots of olive trees and vines. A short 5 minute walk and you're on the best bit of the beach. 10 minute walk and you're in the main resort of Tsilivi. Small shop at the end of the drive for the essentials, larger supermarket just 5 minutes walk. Zakinthos town is 10 minutes by bus or an hour or so walking. I didn't like Zakinthos so within an hour, I was bored and walked back....sorry :( Beach: PERFECT! Mainly sandy with some stones. The far end nearest the town is busy and that is where the watersports run from. The beach is clean and tidy and there were plenty of sun-loungers available. Loos and showers along the length of the beach. Tsilivi: Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, cash machines, car/bike hire, small waterpark at the far end of town (brand new and not bad), doctors, trip organisers etc etc etc. Would recommend Benikos and Sweet Revenge for good food, but I never heard a bad word of any of the restaurants. Excursions: Plenty available at the usual sorts of prices. Usual mixed reviews, but it is worth shopping around for the best prices and value. Olympic rep: Thanks Megan! On hand with any info you need. Transfers: Less than 15 minutes to/from the airport. Departure day: You need to check in advance if you want to keep your room after midday on day of departure....around £25 to keep the room. My room was needed and as I had a 3am pickup, I managed to nab a shower at another apartment in the evening. Finally: If you're looking for an 18-30's drinking holiday, Manousis is NOT the place. Yanni and Sakki will not stand for any anti-social behaviour!!! Not sure what else to say..... I would highly recommend the Manousis Studios and Tsilivi beach and town. Will definitely go back as have many of the guests."
