Great relaxing holiday
"Great hotel. Staff very helpful, rooms nice an clean, plenty of food to choose from. Snack bar on beach open for most of the day if you missed eating times or sandwiches from pool bar at any time. First hotel Ive been to that makes up packed lunches for you if your going out for the day saving a good few bob if there with family. Beach clean an tidy. Only down side hotel charges for sunbeds on beach 5euros each. Evening entertainment was ok animation team down to 3 members as only 2 weeks till season finishes. Kids kept busy too. Went on a boat trip round island great relaxing day just sitting taking in the sights. Went into Zanta town on the bus good for shop and few sights to see too. Would reccomend this hotel to my family and friends. Brilliant holiday wouldn't mind paying another visit myself."

A brilliant time at Louis Zante Beach Hotel
"Have just had a week's all Inclusive holiday at Louis Zante Beach Hotel. A perfect location on a beautiful beach with crystal clear sea! The food was delicious, the rooms clean with excellent air conditioning. For me the highlight of the holiday was the animation team...especially Emilio...what a funny, talented people person!!! If anything could be improved...I would say to try to get rid of the wasps around the pool area and bar. Most of the staff were friendly but there were a few that could have been been more professional. Would definately go again."

"Just arrived back from holiday. Firstly let's get the negative bits over with. Typical Greek plumbing when you had a shower it overflowed onto the bathroom floor - but nothing excessive. Very little adult entertainment, other than a couple of quizes and bingo. Also a bit of a niggle is that you had to pay 10 Euros for a sunbed that on the beach. But none of this ruined the holiday. Particularly the sunbed as you could easily drag the ones that were placed around the pool. If you had children, I would say 12 and under the entertainment was great. Food - great selection every morning, lunchtime and evening. Make sure you make a booking at the Italian restaurant - you wont be dissapointed. Accommodation is spreadout over the complex so you have plenty of room and it's quiet. Rooms are spotless. The hotel is right on the beach and easily the most impressive on the stretch. We shall certainly be looking out of any Louis Hotels. Shipwreck day out with Thomson/First Direct was one of the highlights, coach ride across the island, then one of the first boats on the cove, for photos, dip in water etc. then on your return a great meal at a local taverna (you will pay extra for this). Parents aged 51/49 + daughter & friend both aged 19."

The place to stay
"Stayed at Louis Zante fron 11th May - 18th May. Seen past reviews on here and and can they all measured up. All staff were polite and helpful (our toilet didn't flush properly in our room so contacted reception and was fixed in 20 minutes.) Our rep Jo for Chesterfield was so helpful and really friendly. Would always say hi if she saw you about. Seemed to know the area pretty well although she did admit she hadn't been there long due to being moved from Sharm el Sheik. Excurstions are quite pricey about 39euro for tour around the Island where as a company called TEZ (right next to the go kard place) is priced at 20 euro and doesn't carry as many on the boat. Unfortunately, our tour was cancelled due to weather but i did hear that it was very good. Remember to take a jumper as the sea breeze is a bit chilly. Loads of kids there and seemed to cater well (i wouldn't know as was just me and my partner). I would say that if you want to watch some TV during your stay .. you would have to go else where to get it. There was a TV in the room but you couldn't actually view the only English channel. You were alright if you can understand Greek, German and Italian. We went to a pub not far from the hotel to watch the sporting fixtures. All in all, myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed ourselved. We both said that a week was enough as our waist lines were increasing by the day. Would recommend to anyone wishing the have a holiday there."

the best holiday ive ever had
"everything about this holiday was perfect the hotel staff were lovely and the animotion gang ( the entertainment)lilly, banazs, and emilio were fab. this is honestly the best beach resort ive stayed at as the sea is the clearest and the calmest ive ever encountered.you dont even need to hire a boat or go on a boat trip to see the logerhead turtles as from may on wards they are mating and laying eggs on the beach, the sea is shallow enough to walk out about 120 meters which we did and saw 3 turtles and trust me they are big !!! another good thing about this resort is its close enough to laganas for entertainment but far enough away for peace and quiet the foods was adequate nothing to shout home about but a good selection and fresh and the all inclusive bars are fantastic and trust me there not stingy on the alchol. the only thing i would say is they need to update the gym it was a bit old fasioned and was cattering for men mainly and not women!!! if you have little ones this is definatly the place for you!!! thank you hotel louis zante beach for the best time ever!!! x"

"Ive been to a few holidays now but i found this one of the best..the beach was by far the best attraction, i had no worries about my 8yr old paddling out in the crystal waters and the freshly cleaned white sands. The hotel itself was beautiful..and spotlessly cleaned every day. The menu...well..fantastic! There was nothing we could ask for..champagne breakfasts, continental, fruit yogart, cereal..and the rest of the meals were much better. The entertainment was i must admit, abit of a let down..but there is plenty to do, just a light stroll up the beach. Willie did try his upmost to keep people happy, but the stage and set up just could'nt be helped. The front grounds of the hotel look dated, but the magic happens when you ventre out the back to the pool and the beach. Me and my family are definetly booking another Louis hotel on the hope its as lovely as this..."

going again this year
"We were one of the first to arrive so the hotel was pretty much empty the first few days which was really nice as all the familys soon made friends with each other our room was small but we had a massive bed my son had a small camp bed but he said it was very comfy the rooms were very clean and fresh towels etc were put out each day take a magnet with you for the air con the magnet is welded to the key you get so if you take your own say fridge magnet you could leave your air conn on when you go out make sure the cleaners have gone tho or you will lose it the other nice thing is you get a fridge in the room to keep your drinks cool the food well what can i say pancakes and omlettes made in front of you danish and cakes fruit yogart and this is just brekkie lunch and dinner theres salads and meat and veggie food and the open alfresco cook before your eyes part you can be healthy or gain a stone like me theres a snack bar on the beach from 10am till 6pm also the pool is small but who needs a pool when there is the beautiful beach right there on the door step white sand clear water and shallow for half a mile so safe for children take a pedlo out and look at the turtels entertainment was awful none for the first 4 days apart from a kids disco and then it was so bad it was funny but they did try hard Jess was a star ran around alday entertaining the children she was tireless if you have booked this you will have a great holiday for the first time ever we are returning to the same place couldnt recomend it enough enjoy "

Absolutely no complaints about the hotel...
"Absolutely no complaints about the hotel. Clean (maid every day), excellent choice of both hot/cold, mediterranean/english food, good bars, friendly staff. Reasonable pool and entertainment. Mostly aimed at the older generation. If you are 18-30 you will probably end up in the clubs in Laganas, but these are far enough away to not cause any problems for the hotel. The beach and sea are clean and safe being shallow to about 100m. Only criticism we had was with the holiday rep. Never there and mis-selling excursion!"

Just returned from Louis Zante Beach Hot...
"Just returned from Louis Zante Beach Hotel, really let down by Thomas Cook and many other people staying there were also, having been moved here with only a weeks notice, was not impressed at all. However made the best with the weather and the friends we made at this hotel, the entertainments team are recruited by a seperate company from the hotel and did their best to provide activities and a range of entertainments to suit a range of nationalities. Have to say that Willy was a great guy and game for a laugh and the rest of the team Tom, Lucy, Lauren, Kerrie, Eni worked hard to provide a range of activities for the whole family. Food could have been warmer, but there is certainly plenty of choice at every meal. Champagne available at breakfast, beer all day is Lowenbrau, and red and white wine on tap, plenty of cocktails and spirits to choose from. Rooms adequate and clean, Aircon is free, yes free, safety boxes are charged at 3.50 a day but we think that is a small price to pay for peace of mind. Beach just a short walk from hotel with excellent sand, unlike some with pebbles and broken shells and can also walk out quite a good way before too deep. Public areas really well maintained, and staff are friendly and helpful. My kids say that this is the best holiday they have ever been on, and one of them is a teenager, LOL Overall had a very relaxing holiday playing water polo and darts twice a day There is a very good street at the end of the drive for shops, restaurants and bars, before entering the main Laganas street, which is not really suitable for children at night. Would like to say hi to Andy and Elaine (Portsmouth), Andy and Mandy, Casey, Jody (Kent) "

Just came back from 2week at this hotel....
"Just came back from 2week at this hotel. As previous people have said it is far enough from the party central of Laganas. Have to agree with some of the things the previous person said. Shop very expensive go down the road or round the corner for supplys(water and inflatables!!). Mossi spray/plug is a must and also take 2 plug adapters if you want to use 2 electical points at the same time! One more little trick! Your room key has a magnet on it to make the electric work so as soon as you leave your room the electricity goes off (not the fridge thou!!) get yourself a small, cheap fridge magnet break it and put the small magnet in the socket before you leave the room and you can have the air-con/electricity working all day! (be warned do it after the cleaner has been in or you'll lose it!!). Hotel is very clean and tidy. Food is good but does gets a bit boring after 7-10days. you can eat as heathly or as unhealthy as you want!! "
