Not qute 5 star but beautiful setting
"This was a really nice hotel, but it is not five star. It has many lovely features, mainly as a result of some of the design in the communal areas and the setting. The view from almost anywhere is amazing. The rooms are what lets the hotel down. The pillows were not clean and the shower in the room upstairs leaked into our bathroom. There are also unfinished things like ripped lino in the lift and light fittings missing in the communial areas. They are reluctant to give out towels in the spa and the gym is limited in terms of the equipment it has to offer. The drinks are very expensive and there is nowhere in the vicinity to get a drink or snack, so the hotel has a monopoly. Lefkas is a beautiful place, but very quiet. We went there with teenagers and although we had a great time it lacked things to do. Nidri, nearby (10 euros in a taxi or 1 euro on the bus) is the best place to go for bars and shops and the local boat trips to Skorpios are recommended. If you want a laid back relaxing holiday then this is the place for you."

"My Wife & I stayed at this Hotel May 7th-14th, 2006. Lovely setting, every bedroom faces straight out over the bay. We choose a superior suite, which is well worth the upgrade. Bedrooms spacious, bathrooms for Greece are pure luxury. Excellent Restaurant,(Wines are expensive). Staff courteus, and at the same time very friendly and helpful. Only set back we found, you will need to hire a Car, Hotel is mid way between Lefkas and Nidri. Will certainly go back. Ideal for both Families and Couples, with ample space for everyone to enjoy"

not quite 5 star as advertised
"Visited for two weeks August 2005- 2 adults 2 children. We had an excellent holiday but the hotel has a long way to go before reaching its 5 star rating. The service throughout the hotel was extremely slow and the staff were not always friendly and obliging. We paid extra to stay in a suite with our own pool which was too cold to use and the balcony only had sun till 11 am. The main pool area was extremely impressive with excellent views but the main pool was still very cold even in august. The advertised watersports were never operational during our stay, the courtesy bus to Lefkas town never operated and the mountain bikes advertised in the brochure were not to be had. The rooms were very spacious and maid service was excellent with clean sheets daily. However, the shower cubicle was not sealed so the bathroom floor always flooded.Hopefully when the hotel has been open longer these problems will be resolved and the hotel will live up to its five star rating."

"I spend four days at Ionian Blue Hotel during Easter and I really enjoyed every single one. The hotel is brand new, situated in an amazing environment facing the Ionian sea. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and with great sea views. The bathroom is luxurious and it had a bath tub and a seperate shower area! The food (breakfast and dinner) was plenty and very tasty. There is also a nice bar named Scorpios where you can drink your coffee and watch the sunset. It is certainly the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I can't wait to go back!"
