fantastic Sea Front Location
"we travel to ninos on the beach in june/ july 2008 . This is the second time we are stayed there are loved it both times. the rooms are small but very clean and with evrything that you need, most with balconeys some over looking the pool and some the sea either are both equally lovely. Ninos on the beach has the best pool and pool area in roda with fantastic bar food or Just pool side snacks. There are plenty of sun loungers for all the gustes staying at the aparments, there is all so great seating right ont he sea front to just have a drink or something to eat! the restraunt offers a large varity of dishes from egg and chips to greek dishes . We had breakfast nearly every morning and what a fantastic english breakfast! Danny, Ninos and Lynsey are all so freindley and make you very welcome. Roda is a great little resort with plenty going on, there is plenty of day trips to do from roda inc Corfu Town, the water park and Visting some of the smaller greek islands like paxos! There are loads of places to geta great meal from in roda town like maggies who do fish and chips (the biggest fish iv ever seen) and also many other specials we love the currys! from Nions on the beach u can also walk in to acarivi witch is also a really nice little resort with loads of reastrunts and a few bars! roda is a fantastic resort for everyone, there are a few bars on the beach front and also some in the town that stay open all night that would never disturbe your holiday - you would never know they where there unless you went (the drunken salior is a great night out!) the pirates bar ( kareoke) is also very popular. There is also things like greek nights where all the family is welcome at the coral hotel 2 mins walk from ninos on the beach! also ninos onthe beach have live entertanment with acts like elvis which are all great nights! Aqua land the water park is a great day out for all the family with or without children its fanatistic and loads for all diffrent ages! I would recomend getting a taxi fromt he airport as it makes the jorney much faster! I will be going back to ninos in 2009 and again in 2010 its the perfect palce for a holiday with no stress!"

"We [me and other half] have just returned from our first visit to Nino's, in fact, our first visit to Corfu, and I had to write and let you know what an absolutely fabulous time we had. The rooms are quite small but had everything that we needed. More to the point, it was spotlessly clean, and what a magnificent view we had of the mountains. We were in room 61 which is on the second [top] floor and had sunshine from morning to night. This room overlooks the pool area and the beautiful maintained gardens. The food in the restaurant was some of the finest I have ever tasted, catering for everyone's taste, traditional Greek food, curries, steaks etc. We ate our big English breakfast there every morning and were set up for the day, breakfast is served until noon so there was no rush to get up. Unfortunately, Lyndsay wasn't there as her and Nino have just become grandparents so she was visiting their daughter and baby, but Nino and his son Danny made sure we had the perfect holiday, nothing was too much trouble for them and the other staff. A special mention for Elfeka [hope I have spelled it correct], Danny's girlfriend. We visited Roda village most days and found it to be a most charming place, only five minutes up the road, turn left from Nino's. Plenty of tavernas and restaurants, try Roxanne's, Crusoe's and Pirate Bar, also Maggie's Place for the biggest fish and chips you will ever see. We were there for 10 days and didn't want to come home, certainly intend going back next year. Nino's On The Beach is not connected to any travel agent so contact has to be made direct through their email or by telephone. Take a look at their website 'Ninos On The Beach' and have yourself a truly relaxing holiday where the only decisions you have to make are what to eat and drink."

"We first stayed at Ninos last July/August with family on the recommendation of my dad who talked non-stop about Ninos on the Beach, his idea of Paradise. Fabulous place for couples, families, larger groups with an outstanding pool and garden. Nino, his wife Lindsay and son Danny run this small complex which has a great atmosphere day and night. The family and their staff are all friendly and helpful. Although Roda itself isn't the best Greek village/town we've ever stayed in there is enough to keep all but energetic teenagers happy - and you don't really need to venture far from Ninos on the Beach. For breakfast you can get anything from coffee and toast to a full (huge) english, lunch from the pool bar (if you are still hungry) and some of the best food in the evening in their beach front taverna with fantastic views of the bay. The rooms are small but very clean with towels and bedding changed regularly. It's only a short walk into Roda (you must go to Nikos taverna on the old village road where he and his wife Lucy and their two young sons will make you very welcome and serve delicious traditional food). A slightly longer walk the other direction takes you to Acharavi with its beach front tavernas and a further walk up into the town of Acharavi with a much bigger selection of shops, bars and tavernas if that is your thing. Ninos on the Beach is in an ideal situation for a relaxing holiday and we'll definitely be back."

Amazing place, amazing hosts and an overall excellent holiday
"I had been to Roda Corfu 3 years ago and remembered this place. I was staying at another hotel on the same road but preffered the pool, food and staff at Ninos. I definately had to go back to Ninos this year and wouldnt even consider staying anywhere else. I found the website online and emailed Lindsay. She was a great help and even reserved our room as early as March. When I arrived in Corfu Lindsay had booked us a taxi to pick us up at the airport. The taxi costs 42 EUROS. Fantastic as the coach journey takes twice as long. The apartments are great. Quite small but perfect for just the two of us. Very very clean rooms and great air con. There are bigger rooms for families. Ninos is run by an english lady from Derby, her Greek husband Nino and their son Danny. They made us feel very much at home throughout our whole stay. The food at Ninos is amazing as is the food we had at other restuarants in Roda. The beach is right out the front but there is no sand. For a sandy beach you will need to walk for 5 mins through the towns shops to the busier part of the beach. There are water sports, sun beds and a selection of places to eat all at the sandy beach. We made friends with people that come back to Ninos every year and we are definately going back ourselves. If your looking for a partying, clubbing holiday then stay in Sidari. Its a 30 minute drive from Roda and is more for the youger people. Roda is very quiet and perfect for families or for couples looking for a restfull relaxing holiday. Id advise you to hire a car for a coupe of days and take a trip to the west coast and also the east to visit corfu town. I have only been back 2 days and already i cant wait to get back. please feel free to contact me if you want some advice on the place or corfu. Natalie"

"We visited Ninos on the Beach Roda on a day trip. We were driving along by the beach and saw the signs saying pool open to the public. The pool was lovely and we had a good swim. The problems started when we went to the bar to order drinks and look at the lunch menu. The English lady was very chatty telling us all about herself and the accomodation. She gave us a brochure to look at and we asked about the prices of stuidos. She siad they had vacancies if we were interested. Then we told her we had no need to find accomodation as we were staying with family further along the coast. Thats when things seem to change. She virtually turned her back and started talking to other customers and asking them about accomodation etc. The lunch was pleasant. However as we paid the bill and left the guy behind the bar started telling us about their lovely rooms, the air con etc and asked us to take a brochure. We said we weren't interested but he insisted we take it to show our friends. They sounded desparate to get you to stay and if they have empty rooms then you have to wonder why................ It is probabaly OK if you stay there but if you visit BE WARNED you WILL be given the hard sell for accomodation. Reminded us of the dreaded timeshare touts in Spain. I would not recommend this for a relaxing lunch as we felt we couldn't relax with them being so pushy."
