"Just returned from Nissaki Sea View and had a fantastic holiday. Room slept 5 of us comfortably (3 adults, 2 kids). Fabulous view of the bay across to Corfu Town from every room. Room was cleaned twice during the week and bins emptied every other day. Basic Greek self catering equipment.Toaster would have been better than having to use grill in oven as was directly below sink and oven door got quite hot. Food in hotel restaurant lovely as it was in the 3 tavernas down the hill. Staff at hotel were friendly & helpful. Greek night on Saturdays well attended and great fun. Take mosquito repellant for when out & about!! Will definitely return - thanks Emilios and co for a wonderful holiday"

"We booked this a few weeks before with a choice of Nissaki or Sidari and seeing as we had already stayed in Sidari we decided to go for Nissaki instead. Now a word of warning, if you just want a quiet week or two lounging by the pool then this is the place for you but if you like something to do or have kids I really wouldn't reccommend it. It is QUIET and when I say quiet I mean there are 4 tavernas and 2 small supermarkets and a crap gift shop. And because of this everything is very expensive compared to other resorts due to the lack of competition. On the subject of Accommodation it really did exceed our expectations, the room was spotless and cleaned every other day with new sheets and fresh towels. The people who gave this place a bad review really need to get a grip on reality rather than going round like petty idiots taking photos of mouldy sealent round toilets! The staff there are very friendly, The owner was always happy to help and Sophia who works in the restaurant during the day was brilliant and absolutely adored our 2 daughters and even bought them a present before we left. We did start to get a bit bored after a week so decided to rent a car for 2 days and do a tour of the island and finsihed off with a visit to aqualand which is brilliant."

"You want peace and quiet and possibly the best food I have experienced in most Greek Islands, A weeks stay at the Nissaki Sea View is well worth it. We thought the facilities where Great the rooms where your normal greek standards and very clean, the views from every appartment face the sea on what is an amazing look over the bay. Emilios and his team where truly fabulous but the Food at this place was out of this world and possibly the most reasonably priced within this small area. 3-5 other tavernas to visit within 5 minutes walk with The Grill at the top of the road possibly edging the rest. Overall very enjoyable break and will try 2 weeks next time and see more of the island. "

"We have recently returned from a holiday in Nissaki having stayed at the Seaview Apartments for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would have no hesitation in recommending them to readers of this site. The apartment was clean and had a lovely view over the bay towards Corfu town and the pool bar is very pleasant; as are the girls that work there; although an earlier reviewer obviously wasn't as impressed as we were. Greek fridges aren't of the standards we are used to at home and are frequently 'tired' as can be the bathroom facilities, but this is widespread across many Greek resorts we've been to. Don't let this put you off as Greece is all about pretty villages, delightful tavernas serving wonderful food and lovely local people. We met some lovely fellow holiday makers at the Seaview Apartments (hi Liz and John) which also helped to make our stay all the better. "

"Having just returned from Nissaki Sea View Apartments and having such a wonderfully relaxing holiday thought we must add this review to your website as we noted a poor review regarding room 201 had been logged. We stayed in this apartment and had a great time, we understand from the owners that this apartment is part of the original house and we felt that it was nice to see some of the original fittings had been left for us to enjoy, for a 2+ star rating this was a good bit better that in some we have stayed. The staff could not do enough for us and were informative and helpful. We hope very much to return here before too long. The views from our balcony were stunning, all the local tavernas are brilliant and the local people so friendly. P.S. I think you will find in most Greek apartments that the 1st loo roll is supplied and then it,s up to you!!"

"As a family of 3, 2 adults & 1 child. We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Nissaki Sea View Apartments. The apartments are situated in a beautiful area of Corfu called Nissaki and are located overlooking the sea. Our apartment was exceptionally clean and well equipt if you chose to self cater..but in our opinion the complex and surrounding areas and restaurants were by far too tempting to even think about staying in. The pool area was very clean and there was ample sun loungers for all throughout the day. Nissaki itself is a small and very picturesque area of Corfu with a beautiful pebble cove beach, great for snorkellling. The beauty of Nissaki is everything is just a stones throw away making it the ideal location for a relaxing holiday."

"My husband I spent a wonderful week here in July. It’s the ideal location for a totally relaxing holiday. Our apartment was impeccably clean, and surprisingly big, given the very reasonable price we paid. There were stunning views from our large balcony, which provided the perfect place to relax with a pre dinner drink and read a book or watch the small boats come and go from the nearby harbour. Nestled within the olive groves and steps away from the sea, The Nissaki Sea View is a welcome change to the pretence of some of the supposedly more exclusive and luxurious resorts we have stayed at in the past and paid double or triple the price for the privilege. Can’t recommend it enough "

"As a family of 4 we stayed at Nissaki Sea View Apartments for 2 weeks at the end of July 2008. We arrived late and had booked a 2 bed apartment. We booked well in advance but were not informed that our accommodation was situated in the old building or that it was directly above what is described as a ‘snack bar’ in the brochure. It was only on the morning after arrival that we resigned ourselves to the fact that, this time with Olympic, we had drawn the short straw: the general state of repair was a disgrace. Holes in floor and wall tile grouting played host to grime and no doubt countless bacteria. The facilities did not function properly most notably the toilet which would not successfully flush anything away and any cistern flushing had to be supplemented by at least two washing bowls full of water to make anything flush away. When either the floor was wet because the shower tray overflowed and was too small, or the toilet was flushed, an overpowering smell of stale urine filled the room. The bathroom had a non-slip matt, we saw it for sale on a roll in Corfu Town for about 1 euro, This was disgusting and lumps of brown substance, not ours, was visible and appeared to be coming up from the drain. The window would not shut because the frame was rotting and hence the mosquitoes could come and go as they pleased. The cooker, sink and fridge surrounds required an industrial deep clean and the furniture had seen better days. I have photos of all these defects and a rather unpleasant video of the toilet malfunctioning. The brochures description of a ‘snack bar’ is very misleading as it is actually a full bar with outside seating below our apt which is open until 2am and sometimes later. One evening / early morning the raucous behaviour of some drunken non-residents was so loud that we had to mention to the barman that we couldn’t sleep having been woken up at about 2am. We tried to get on with our holiday and were out of the apartment exploring the island and having fun with the children from morning til evening and even made light of the disgusting ablution arrangements to buoy ourselves up however further alarming problems developed when we brought the state of the room to the attention of Christiana who I understand has some managerial control over the apartments. We were led to believe the accommodation was full but Monday was a change-over day so we brought the above list of complaints to her attention on Sunday, it was difficult to synchronise a liaison with Neil, the Olympic rep, and we wished to resolve the matter locally without any undue fuss or interruption to our holiday. On Sunday we were promised we could move on Monday by 3pm albeit to a 1 bed apartment. This was still above the bar but was newer accommodation and the situation with our own room was now so dire that my children were scared to go in the bathroom and my wife was quite upset at the conditions. Although she had promised a new room, Christiana appeared concerned that the cleaners had not done an adequate job of cleaning our apartment and seemed keen on us making criticism of their efforts. This was not the case; the cleaners were making the best of a bad job and the root cause of the problems pertaining to apartment 201 were that it required nothing less than a total refit by someone competent to plumb a shower, sink and toilet and a builder who could fill holes properly and fit new windows. Later on Sunday we became aware that the cleaners had revisited our apt and given the toilet a once over but once again the smells returned; it appeared the drains were either blocked or inadequate and the base of the toilet pan was corroded and the grouting cracked and broken and was constantly wet, there was also a badly repaired crack on the edge of the pan. On Monday we planned our day around switching rooms before 3pm however later that morning Christiana informed us that it was not now possible for us to move rooms as new guests were arriving. This was the last straw and my wife insisted on Cristiana experiencing the condition of our apt first hand, there were some tears and pleadings and we were left with no alternative but to insist on either a different room, alternative Olympic accommodation or I would research alternative accommodation myself. Either way, we refused to stay in the apt anymore. After a series of phone calls to the rep and researching other local accommodation we were eventually told we could have room 203 at 5pm. During the course of the day it became apparent that neither Christiana nor Fatos, the owner, take criticism well and they became remarkably defensive and, much to their dis-service, ignorant and dismissive. The rep initially stated he would attend to inspect apt 201 which prompted a sudden cover-up operation of cleaning and a strong smell of air freshener throughout not only the toilet but the whole apt and the corridor outside aswell. The rep didn’t attend or return phone calls which prompted us to make further representations to establish exactly if and when we would switch rooms. At about 2pm we were informed we could move at 5pm (not sure why 2 hours had been added to the initial 3pm deadline but it appeared cleaning of 203 had been dropped to the bottom of the schedule). Later in the afternoon I asked Christiana when the rep would arrive and she stated he would not be attending and summonsed Fatos to deal with me. Fatos insisted the matter had been dealt with and we would move rooms at 5pm however I very politely had to ask him 4 times to call the rep as I had various representations to make. Fatos was extremely evasive and offered a number of excuses in order to avoid calling the rep; his phones off, he’s at the airport, he may not have a signal, he’s already dealt with this matter and so on. Eventually he succumbed and I made an arrangement to speak with the rep later on. At 5pm we were dealt with discourteously by Christiana and although Fatos attempted to convey a manner of quiet professionalism he was once again in denial and made remarks such as : the toilet was working before you arrived etc. we didn’t witness any workmen visiting 201 or see anyone in residence for the rest of our stay. Thereafter, we were away from the apts pretty much all day. We eventually caught up with the rep and relayed the details of our poor treatment, an excellent example of which was that on departure day we vacated our apt at 9am as we had rented a boat for the day and returned about 6pm and were camped out at the pool and in the reception / bar area. We were still awaiting exact details of our departure time having been informed by the rep earlier in the week that our pick-up at the top of the road would be about 11.45pm. We spent our last evening at Mitsos and returned at about 11pm only to find the rep approach us in somewhat of a hurry a few minutes later. He was holding an Olympic form which had details of our pick-up time which was now 11.20pm and said “This was left in your pigeon hole at reception. Did no-one give it to you” I saw Christiana was manning the reception desk and was aware of our presence. We quickly gathered our belongings and wheeled our cases up the hill to the bus stop on the main road where our transport was already waiting, a welcome relief ! Although the location is generally quiet and the pool area is great, the newer accommodation is satisfactory and the public areas are well maintained, no doubt to attract passing trade, our holiday was blighted by not only the unpleasantries experienced in apt 201 but also by the illjudged response of Christiana and Fatos. The barman was great: he had an excellent approach with the children and was helpful and polite as was the lady with dark hair who works around the bar. The cleaners were reasonably hardworking and very polite although we had to ask for towels and toilet paper after nearly each visit by them. We have stayed in the Greek islands on a few occasions and are accustomed to the issues of basic accommodation which we accept at face value as long as the facilities are clean and function properly. What we experienced this time was a misrepresentation of the accommodation details by Olympic compounded by the behaviour of the management as outlined above. Mitsos staff were great and attentive and The Grill room was value for money and reasonable food. Vitamins up the road was well worth the walk. "

"Yet again another truley lovely holiday. The Nissaki Sea View had it's season cut by a month either side by Olympic Holidays. Having only May available I was gutted. But having e mailed the owners they said i could book independantly and that they would only be too pleased to have me. Again Fotis and Cristiana looked after us immpecably - for the location and the money this is the best value relaxing holiday by far."
