We loved the Annaliza!
"We travelled to the Annaliza after having read numerous reports - ranging from excellent to dire! We found the place to be ideally situated just off the main 'strip' whilst being close enough to all amenities. There was a maid service everyday with towels and linens being replaced every other day, which we found to be perfectly adequate. The rooms were very spacious with 3 separate rooms although the kitchen was not massively well equipped it will contain enough for your stay. The beds were creaky, but comfortable enough. The balcony was long and large. Best thing to eat whilst in Ipsos / Pirgi - orange cake!! Hester Appleyard & Rupert De Ville x"

"We have been to these apartments for 3 years, anyone that have booked or thinking of booking will not be dissapointed. All the staff are very friendly and speak good english, the rooms are extremeley clean as they clean them every other day. The food they serve is also as good,as is the swimming pool. They cater for all ages as the apartments are not on the main strip where all the bars are. A minutes walk away is the cockral bar run by an english couple they also are very welcoming. The main strip and beach is only a 5 minute walk (next year booking these apartments for 5 couples)"

"Lovely hotel, first class treatment, friendly and kind. Very clean apartments and pool area, Great for kids and adults. Great location to see Ipsos. I would give it *****!! I went with my girlfriend for 2 weeks, so much to do and will never get fed up. Any help needed from staff was never a problem."

"Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Anna-Liza for a week in July 2007. The accommodation was first class, would not hesitate to go back. Very clean and large apartment. Staff, especially George, were really friendly. If you want to lie by a pool all day you would be hard pushed to find anywhere better, always loads of loungers - provided with pads, great for recovering! Excellent value for money and great location couple of minutes walk to the main road, so you don't experience too much noise at night. Ipsos was lovely with a shingle beach. We found the place really clean with lovely inexpensive restaurants. The bars were excellent too, especially The Old Tree, which stays open to 4 am! Go along for really friendly staff! Really didn't want to come home, planning our holiday there next year! "

"Just returned from an (elongated!) holiday here - and loved it! Apartments are exceptionally clean, spacious and layout works really well for a family (and would also do for two couples or 4 friends) with a completely private room, and new bathroom, well equipped kitchen and a second room which converts to a bedroom at night and a lounge by day. They try and put families on the ground floor which means you overlook the pool - so you have a nice view and can keep an eye on kids. The pool is kept in pristine condition and the food is really good - lots of choice and good value. We were two adults and two 9 years olds - unfortunately our little boy wasn't very well just before we were due to return to the UK. Monolis called a doctor, sorted out us going to the hospital and bent over backwards arranging an apartment for us for another three days, as well as getting us flights. What was a very difficult situation (child ill on holiday) was made easy by the help and kindness we were shown. Melanie and Manolis who run Annaliza are fantastic, as indeed are all the staff there and and could not do enough. The hotel is ideally situated; tucked away 3-4 minutes walk to the main resort - thus no noise in evenings but easy to get to restaurants and shops. Beach is near - shingle but clean, and there are loads of boats trips from the beach to Corfu Town and other beaches and islands. Easy/cheap to get bus to Corfu Town and to Aqua land which is about 25 minutes away. Loads of restaurants and pubs in resort too. We will definitely be returning. (Our 9 year old daughter has fallen for their 9 year old son, so I have no choice in it anyway!!) "

"I went to Annaliza Apartments with my sister in law, my elderly mother and two nieces ages 2 & 3. The apartments were very clean with maid service and towel changes everyday. Melanie and Manolis the owners were fantastic. They are very helpful with information on good places to eat, places to visit and boat trips etc. The breakfast was lovely as were all snacks and food that were available. The pool was clean, and relaxing, the beach about a 3 minute walk away if you can drag yourself away from the Apartments. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back next year."

"I booked this holiday last minute on the Internet for myself ,my hubby,20 year old son and my elderly mother. After Iâd booked it and was given the name of the accommodation I had a look for it on the Internet to have a look at the reviews. Oh my god what had I done the reviews were appalling! What a pleasant surprise we got. The Annaliza Apartments had been taken over by Melanie and Manolis just 2 months before we arrived and what a difference to the place. We had a fabulous holiday. The apartments were enormous and absolutely spotlessly clean with maid service every day and sheets and towels changed 3 times a week. The whole place has been completely refurbished nice reception area. All marble and cream leather. The bar with huge flat screen TV was a welcome respite area from the heat of the mid day sun and happy hour at 6pm!Food was available all day if you wanted it all freshly prepared and piping hot and Melanie certainly knows how much us English like our tea as she kept refilling our pot !The pool area had been completely revamped with a brand new pool and paved and grassed areas, plenty of loungers, umbrellas and seating on the terrace. A small complex with only 36 apartments, but a great place to stay, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff especially the owners Melanie and Manolis. Certainly a place iâll be going back to and Iâd recommend it to anyone."

"I have just returned from one of the best holidays I have ever had. The Annalisa which has recently been renovated I believe was first class. A great atmosphere, very relaxing and above all very friendly owners. One of the best swimming pools I have seen and immaculate rooms. The bar prices were very reasonable and the breakfast by the pool was spot on. The hotel is 150m from the beach, which is shingle, quite narrow, but crystal clear water, great boat cruises to Corfu town or Cassiopi."
