Excellent hotel - great location - wholly recommended
"The Delfino Blu is an amazing hotel. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and the beach itself is just idyllic and perfectly suited for couples and families alike, as it is sandy and not over-crowded, with clear water which is not too deep. The rooms at Delfino Blu are great and have all the mod cons, including small kitchen areas, DVDs etc and use of a laptop, but what sets the hotel apart is its attentive, friendly staff who are genuinely pleased to assist with any and all requirements - however small. My two children cried when we left as they didn't want to leave the staff, and my husband and I have not stayed in such a friendly, accommodating place before. I can wholly recommend this hotel and have already booked for next year."

Lovely place to chill and relax
"We stayed in the Casa Delfino in October 2006, near the end of the season in this village. We booked directly with the hotel and Yvette was most helpful in arranging our stay, dealing with payment and organising our airport transfer on arrival/departure as well as hiring a car. The apartment we stayed in was lovely - stylish bathroom, lovely big bedroom with sofa and table, a small kitchen unit and a magnificent terrace with view over the sea. Breakfast was excellent and on two occasions we had dinner in the restaurant, which on both occasions was superb too. Pool and pool bar were nice too. Overall a very very nice place to stay in, especially if you want to chill out, relax and just enjoy life. I'm sure it would also be great for a family hotel as the long clean beach is just below the hotel. The village is quite touristy, despite being one of the smaller resorts, but you won't be stuck for restaurants, bars etc"

Believe the hype!
"This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review on anything before but Casa Delfino really did live up to our expectation based on all the other excellent reviews we had read. Overall, the hotel is an absolute gem in terms of location and facilities as well as the service from all the staff. The rooms were superb and we were fortunate to stay in the honeymoon suite for our first 5 nights, which was awesome. However, when we transferred to a standard apartment next door, whilst the room and balcony was alot smaller, we still had the same fantastic view and believe me it is a fantastic view that you can look at for hours! Sunset every night in the sea, what else do you need? Yvette the reservation manager was really friendly and nice and she made sure we settled in well. Very helpful too. Kostas the owner literally fell over himself to make sure we were happy with everything about the hotel. However, the star of the show was Thomas the barman! I guarantee he will make your holiday even more fun as long as you are ready for him (some people might think he is a bit OTT but then they are just boring)! I have never seen someone who works behind a bar so happy and eager to make you happy (even though you are anyway cos you're on holiday). Thomas is a legend and his sayings will stay with us forever - I won't reveal them all, go see for yourself. Overall, this hotel is one we will definitely go back to. The pool is lovely, the beach is fantastic and it is right on it as well. The views are out of this world and you are made to feel so welcome. Because I don't like to overdo things and there is always room for improvement anywhere no matter what then the only minor negatives I would say was the food. Breakfast was lovely although being late risers we often cooked our own and ate on our balcony - which was great. However, dinner was not up to expectation. We then found that the chef had unfortunately changed from last year and they were onto their third one since. They even changed one while we were out there. But, I appreciate that food is down to individual taste and don't let this put you off because you may find that you love it. Too much cinnamon for me and this seemed to be in alot of the meals. We ate out alot and to be fair the food was not much better. However, in nearby Arrillas we found a lovely little Taverna called Brouklis that was far less touristy and more authentic and we ate there alot. My only recommendation to the hotel when we left was to introduce a policy stopping people from bagging sunloungers early and then going off for a few hours or sometimes even most of the day and coming back late to sit on them. As the hotel is fairly small then people seemed to feel they needed to do this although most of the main protaganists were foreign, surprise surprise! There were always enough to go around and I very sure that the staff would have ensured anyone who wanted one would get one even if they were all taken which was hardly ever. This one small thing did annoy us quite a bit, as it is extremely selfish. We have stayed at other hotels before who have a control system whereby a pool attendant guides you to your chosen loungers on arrival and gives you towells. These are removed when you go off for more than half an hour and this works really well. Thanks to Casa Delfino, Yvette, Kostas, Thomas and all the rest - we will see you next year!"

Simply extraordinary !
"Visiting Kerkyra for the second year in a row we stayed yet again at Casa Delphino. Usually we end up trying different hotels but what sets this place apart is making us as customers their number one priority. As soon as we set foot in Casa Delphino, everything becomes so easy as if this was our second home. The authentic Corfu cusine from the restaurant is like no other and the American breakfast buffet selection is fabulous: fruit, eggs, choice of morning meats and pastries! The view from the patio overlooking the beach is also pretty extraordinary whether it's watching the sunset or enjoying your breakfast in the morning. We acutally enjoy Casa Delphino so much that we are planning our summer wedding there next year. Many of our family and friends will be joining us, and they can finally see what we have been ranting and raving about. We are already talking with the owner of the hotel and literally everything will be taken care of so long as we make certain specifications. I hope that others will take the opportunity to make Casa Delphino a second home like we have."

lovely place and great rooms
"We stayed at 'casa delfino' from 18th - 25th of June and we had a lovely time. The hotel is probably the nicest (and most expensive!) in San Stefanos. Situated on the beach its location is good with shops and tavernas 200 yards away! We stayed in a ground floor room with a sea view and have to say it was very nice. With a tiled floor in the small living area there is also a tv,cd player and a dvd player too, so you don't even have to go out if don't feel like it! The bed area has a real wood floor with a small kitchenette in the corner. I have to say the beds were not very good, too hard and really creeky!! The bathrooms are nice with a corner bath! We had breakfast included but it wasn't very good, the first morning the food was cold. There is a good selection of fruit but the only supposedly hot food was hot dog sausages, bacon, beans and omelette. Apart from that we had a great time but would not stay there again because of the price, there are other places you can stay that are nice but a 1/4 of the price. San stefanos is a great place if you want a nice quite getaway ,but there are more lively places nearby. Overall casa delfino is a great place to stay with a really good pool and bar, shame about the breakfasts!"

Another fabulous stay
"This was our 2nd year at these fabulous apartments & the quality of everything was even BETTER than last year which we thought would be hard to beat. We had room at the front with a huge terrace and amazing views over the beach. The staff were superb - Thomas the Bar Man was his usual entertaining self and we had a fantastic week of hot sunshine! We will definately be returning for a 3rd visit soon!"

We found our paradise
"This was our first time at the Casa Delfino and we felt like we were in paradise. We booked direct with the hotel, we were very suprised when we called and the girl was English, she was really really helpfull. She booked our room and also a taxi to pick us up from the airport.. it was really nice once we arrived at the hotel to have the same girl show us around and to our room.. She also helped us throughout our holiday answering all our questions and she even organised our car hire for 3 days, nothing was too mush trouble for this girl she was great !! We stayed in room 12 a studio apartment for 2 people, we couldn't believe how big it was and the decor was lovely, it had a large balcony too with amazing views across the bay the perfect place to watch the sunset.. The hotel has a good size pool and plenty of sun loungers. You can also use the free beds on the beach that the hotel provides. Thomas the guy at the pool bar made us laugh everyday, with his happy nutts and ice fom the sky.. The restaurant food was beautiful we did eat out at the begining of our holiday because we wanted to try different places, but the restaurant at the hotel was the best by far.. the meat is cooked beautiful and its very well priced. All in all the hotel is beautiful, you can see alot of thaught as gone into the design. Costas the owner and all the staff all work very hard to please you. We never go back to the same place twice but we will be going back to the Casa Delfino next year !!"

Excellent Casa Delfino
"Our first visit to Corfu and we could not have picked a better place to stay. We booked direct with the hotel who will send a taxi to meet you at the airport (chargeable) and this worked out much cheaper than with Thomas Cook who wont be using Casa Delfino next year. Wonderful friendly hotel, fantastic staff, beautiful room, (No 9 studio room) we have done quite a bit of travelling over the years and this was really outstanding for a european hotel, lovely full size fridge, proper kettle and toaster, hot plate etc. The room had a large balcony and beautiful view of the ocean, the sunsets at night are amazing. The beach was lovely and sandy and the water very safe, free sunbeds and umberellas from the hotel. We ate in the restaurant every night as it was a very reasonable price and the food was absolutely gorgeous, can thoroughly recommend the pasta and steak dishes! Lastly we have never stayed in such a friendly place, the owner Kostas makes you feel like one of the family, Julia the maid is a delight and our evenings would not have been the same without our conversations and drinks with Nik at the pool bar! We dont tend to holiday at the same place time but will definitely be going back to lovely Casa Delfino."

Does what it says on the tin!
"This was the last year that the owner was affiliated to Thomas Cook. he reckons that with only the fifteen studios and suites, that he can attract enough business over the internet to survive. Perfect location for beach lovers ,right on the beach, we could hear the waves (small) during the first week we were there in July. Unusually high standard for Greek Self Catering especially in that area, our room was 8, and we had a sea view. not so sure that there was as much space for a family of four in similar size apt. Some of larger apts looked out onto side of other properties and entrance way. We ate in Restaurant as we found it reasonably priced and cooked well, lovely views from the outdoor tables especially at sunset. Negatives, not many:maybe a lack of self catering equipment, which I suppose wouldn't bother everyone, but the studios for four, really seemed equipped for three, with extras drafted in. Having been to many of the islands and some resorts on mainland, this accommodation lived up to the brochure descriptions. Not much to the resort, and an uncomfortable bus ride from airport; not so bad in a car."

"This hotel is one of the best hotels I have EVER stayed at. It was absolute paradise with exceptional service from every single staff member. The owner greeted me like a new friend, and I have never experienced such happy service at any other hotel. The views are unparalleled. My friends and I kept pinching ourselves to make sure we weren't dreaming. This is at least a 5 star hotel, and will definately be back. The pictures on the website drew me in and it was even better in person!"
