"Dina's paradise is a real paradise. Only 350 meter from the beach, on a hill, thus a splendid view (beautiful sunsets e.g.). Of course it starts with the first impression, in our case, mid May at 01.00 AM - delayed flight with our son of 3 years old. The owners left the key in our apartment, and guess what: in our fridge were a bottle of water, a can of Sprite, and a cold really cold beer. Isn't that nice! We really enjoyed our drinks. The next morning we understood why the place is called Dina's paradise. A great view at the sea (also from our floor app, our son could walk around safely) and the mountains (green): in the middle of nature. Also we met the family, really nice people: Bill (his English name) and Dina. They are very hospital. We found out that we were the only guests, so we had our private swimming pool for almost 1,5 week (we stayed 2 weeks). Later on there were other guests, nice people from all around the world (f.i. Australia, USA, UK) all booked directly with the family (no lazy people). So you better come to this fantastic place, especially in May: you've got room (also on the beaches), nice wetter (appr. 25 C), flowers and so on. Very recommended!

"We stayed 4 nights at Dinas paradise, on the top floor in a 2 room appartment. It was clean, with fridge and air-con. From the balcony we had a fantastic view over Agios Gordios and to the see. Dina and Vagelis are so friendly and make your stay just perfect. The pool area was very nice and againg with a fantastic view. it was relaxing and quit. We had a fantastic time and will for sure go there again. Pls notice, that it is on the hill side, and with steeps."

Idyllic Peace

"Just returned from an amazing stay at Dinas Paradise.
What a stunning location!!! A bit of a tough climb and plenty of steps but it was SO worth it.
It was so quiet, lying around the glorious pool on the stylish sunbeds, it could have been any time of day or night if you closed your eyes and it was like having your own private pool most of the time.
You can hear the sea at night as you are only 350 metres away despite the elevotated position of your apartment.
The views and the sunsets were breathtaking.
The apartment (10) was very large and TV and air conditioning were in the bedroom at no extra cost.
The room was cleaned every day except Sunday to a very high standard.
Dina and Vagelis (owners) are the friendliset Greeks on the island. Nothing was too much trouble and your happiness is of their upmost concern.
Agios Gordios is a great resort. Try the Lemon Tree for drinks and people watching and Alexis Restaurant for that real Greek family run atmosphere and great food but saying that, we didn't have a bad meal and we ate somewhere different every night."

"my wife and I have just returned from a week at Dina's after reading the other reviews.....not dissapointed! I wont repeat the other reviews as they cover all the aspects but to sum the accomodation up I would say simple, clean and well kept all you need! Ask for a room on the top floor as the view was fantastic. We had the place to ourselves for 2 days! Pool was very cold in May but would be perfect once its warmed up in summer. The actual resort would be suited to couples but be warned alltough only a five min walk from the resort centre Dina's is up a tiring incline slope and then theres at least 40 steps up to the pool then a further 20 odd up to the top floor....the lift wasnt installed and looks like it wont be this season.....NOT suitable for anyone with walking problems...but it does make you fitter and feel a whole lot healthier. The resort has around 20+ restaurants and all we aet in were good. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Dina's (the family are very nice..not intrusive but very helpfull). and would recommend it. PS There LOTS of cats wandering around Dina's and stray dogs/cats in the resort."

"We have 2 great weeks at Dinas Paradise. The owners are very friendly, apartments clean, tidy and the views and sunsets spectacular.

Aghios Gordios is a nice quiet resort with many good restaurants. We found Sebastians, Alexis and a couple on the seafront (can't remember the names) the best.

I would definately recommend Dinas Paradise and Aghios Gordios to friends and would definitely return again."

We loved Dinas Paradise

"We returned to Agios Gordios after a 2 year absence and fell in love with it all over again. Dina's Paradise is delightful and the views are stunning, as are the sunsets. We ate in several restaurants but have to say that Sebastian's Taverna is probably our favourite - the ambiance and food are wonderful.

If you want a quiet and peaceful holiday, then choose Agios Gordios and particularly Dina's Paradise. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The ony downside of Agios Gordios is that everywhere is very steep, so not suitable for those who are less than mobile. Mind you, we felt much fitter at the end of the week than at the beginning! Hopefully, by the time we return, the lift will be completed.

Best in Corfu so far...

"Great views of Agios Gordios, the best apartment hotel we've tried so far in Greece, and the best resort.

The owners of the hotel are friendly, and make you feel at home. The hotel is absolutely spotless and clean. (Although there is that querky Greek charm about the decor in the rooms...)

My only gripe is that the satellite TV reception is a bit dodgy, but that maybe because of the mountain in the background of the hotel.

There are a lot of steps up to the hotel, but this is no problem considering you have to go up to get that fantastic view of the bay.

On our stay there was a nice mix of tourists from Belgium, Germany, Hungary, England and Denmark, which gave it a good aatmosphere. The pool was never crowded, usually only us in the pool, but this may of course not always be the case.

A little tip would be to buy tucka from at the Stevens on the Hill restuarant a small distance down the hill, they make great poolside snacks, as there is no bar at Dina's Paradise.

All in all a fantastic place for a holiday, but not good for wheelchair access or youngsters wanting a good knees up party holiday."

Paradise It Is !

"We are returning this year (June 06) to these stunning apartments. Carved out of the hillside a few years ago, the apartments were purpose built by Dina and Vasillis. Their son, Vagelis, will answer most emails or enquires although all three speek very good english.
They cant do enough for thier guests and nothing is to much trouble. One evening ,the owner of a Taverner we were eating at for the first time got a phone call from Vasillis pointing out we were HIS guests and had better be looked after!. Dina also arranged a BBQ for us one night next to the pool, buying the food herself so we didnt pay ' tourist prices '.
The position on the apartments is superb, looking out over the town and beach while nestleing in the olive trees and conifers. The steps are steep, both up to the pool terrace and apartments on the top floor. The lift to the pool from the small road below will not be finished this year.
From the gates you can walk the short path through the trees to the town (5 mins) or down to the beach (10mins) Next door, the hotel "Sephens on the hill" provides a friendly bar and has a slightly larger pool which guests can use. The beach is also supreb and safe for kids. A mile or so up the coast the snorkling and diving is spectacular. There is also a diving school at the beach.
The town has many shops and a few small supermarkets - you can buy most things. With about 30 Taverners there is plenty of choice of where to eat. However , by 10.30pm all is quiet and you can settle back to enjoy a few glasses by the pool before bed. This is not the place for the high life or if you need entertaining till the early hours. But the apartments are clean , and although simply furnished ,for our family with four children are however all we wished for and more.
Roll on the summer !!"

Paradise on the hill

"We visited Dinas Paradise Apartments while on holiday at the Thomson Hotel in Aghios Gordios which though enjoyable was showing signs of wear and tear and had very cramped conditions on the sun terraces around the pool. We found the apartments by chance as they are not visible from the road. For anybody who knows the area they are next to Stevens on the Hill further up the road. They are owned by Dinas and Vasilis a lovely couple who speak perfect English and will do anything to make your holiday enjoyable. The apartments are simply furnished but comfortable and very clean. The views are stunning across the bay and the walk to the village to the many restaurants is extremely pleasant as is the short cut to the beach amidst the olive groves at the back of "The Sea Breeze" which also serves a good variety of evening meals at reasonable prices. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone with mobility problems as the hill is VERY steep but the footings for a lift are in place--hopefully to be in operation this season. One last comment which should not be ignored-the pool is glorious-no fighting for sunbeds.I just hope I haven't encouraged too many people to make a booking and spoil the peace and tranquility of these lovely apartments!"
