"Stayed here in July last year. New roughly what to expect from accomodation, as I'd previously worked in Lindos, but were pleasantly surprised by the size of our apartment. Rooms were large and well enough furnished with a large fridge freezer, kettle and adequate equipment in the kitchen should you chose to eat in. Disappointed by the lack of cleanliness though. Although the apartment appeared clean when we arrived on closer inspection hand basins in the bathroom & bedrooms had not been cleaned and the floor was filthy. A maid came daily but only seemed to empty the bins and change the linen mid week. On the plus side the accommodation is in an excellent location handy for St Paul's Bay, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and it wasn't noisy late at night. Despite the lack of cleanliness it wouldn't put me off going back."

"Stayed at the Tsambika Studios August 2011. Excellent value for money. Location is spot on. Very Peaceful and chilled out. Immaculately clean. Stayed in room 401 - Amazing sea view and sunsets. 2 Minutes from the beach and the Pefkos by Night bar where we had many laughs!. Eclipse Bar at the top of the road - Highly recommend jumping into the pool at night! There is a bus stop at the top of the road to everywhere on the Island. Lindos 1.60 Euros. Perfect! Adequate cooking facilities. Toasters , Grills and a whole load of books to borrow. Costas the owner lives on site also works on the donkeys in Lindos during the day!. Excellent holiday. Would definately go back tomorrow and highly recommend. Pool hopped all day long so not having a pool doesn't matter.. Max pools we did in one day 11! Enjoy Pefkos just like we did. Great place."

Superb apartments, great location, friendly owners
"We spent a week staying at the Tsambika Studios during the last week of May. Despite not being warned about our arrival by the travel agent, the owner was very nice and gave us a room with a sea view even though our booking was for one with a land view. The room was clean and nicely presented. The kitchenette had everything we needed and extras such as a toaster and ironing board are available in shared cupboards on the ground floor. The apartments are surrounded by olive trees and vines and there is plenty of parking if you wish to hire a car. We had to pay for air conditioning - which was mentioned when we booked, but we were cheeky and haggled a bit with the owner who was happy to knock money off (and he did that for the safe key too). The location is ideal - less than 5 mins either way to a little beach or the main high street where the bus stop is (outside Pefkos by Night). Its quiet, clean and peaceful but very near everything you need and i highly recommend it"

"5 single people all over 60 spent 2 weeks there in May this year, Kostas waited up for us even though we did not arrive until 1.00am. The apartments are one of the best I have stayed in on a Greek island, very clean, plenty of room, nice to be able to use the patio or balcony both front and back of your studio, chairs to sit out on and tables, also provided are electric toasters and grills, and even though we did not use them irons and ironing boards. The place is spotless and set in really pretty grounds, they even put fresh flowers in the room a couple of times a week. Shower good by Greek standards. Kosta made you feel very welcome, was helpful in suggesting places to visit, even brought us some food his mother had cooked to try. It is quiet, no noise at night and only 5 mins from a good beach and less than that to tavernas. Bus stop also a couple a minutes away for trips to Lindos,Rhodes and up the coast. Would I go back there, yes I would for the price you will not find anywhere better for a quiet, relaxing holiday with everything you need close to hand."

"Pefkos is a lovely resort, quiet and relaxing by day with many swimming pools to use within the resort, and fairly lively in the evening with loads of bars and restaurants. We ate somewhere different almost every night and found the best to be the Coluseum - the food was well worth the little extra cost. Tsambika apartments are nicely positioned in the resort, close to everything but far enough not to be disturbed. They are very basic, but that's all we needed. The only thing I would say is take some toilet roll because you only get the first one, and take your own towels because they are only changed twice in two weeks! Very clean though. Air conditioning and the safe box are additional cost, which really should be included (fair enough, the price of the holiday could go up) but we couldn't have done without the air con - it was a saviour, as the weather was extremely hot, with not a cloud in the sky for the whole two weeks. I would recommend Rhodes, and in particular Pefkos for a holiday - I would definitely go back. The only thing I would say is that the 'package' didn't include the last night, so we had to leave the apartments at 12pm midday and hang around until we were picked up for the airport at 2:50am the next day! Not a very well thought-out package! We hired a room for the extra day, which cost us extra but meant we could have showers before heading on the journey home. In my opinion, a package holiday shouldn't leave you without accommodation or somewhere to put your bags and shower, for 15 hours in soaring temperatures! That is the only criticism we have though - Rhodes, Pefkos and Tsambika apartments are all great. "

" My wife and I have just got back from the resort of Pefkos, Rhodes. It has enough restaurants for a different one each night...caters for English,Geman and Italians but with greek dishes too. Plenty of bars to wander around main one is Pefkos By Night which is friendly and a few shops. A couple of beaches...main one gets crowded St Thomas' Beach much qiueter, has sun beds and umberellas, payable to Savaas who will collect money...very friendly guy...he and his wife run a small refreshment cafe near the beach. We stayed in the Tsambiki Studios, booked through Kosamar. these are only 100 m from the St Thomas Beach one way and the same to The main st in Pefkos. Studios are basic self catering but do have air con, fan and safety deposit box if you want to pay the owner for their use. (We did the fan and box). It is 10 minutes away from Lindos which is very atmospheric 13th C, with an old fortress and Acropolis for history..streets very narrow and cobbled...plenty of shops..worth getting a taxi to lots of roof top retaurants and plenty of bars. QWe stayed there about 10 years ago but it was too enclosed, crowded and hot, that's why we chose Pefkos this year. Hope that is of use..Enjoy, we did "

"spent a week in pefkos rhodes at tsambika villa, i have to say the location was ideal but for a 3 bedroom villa there was no microwave, and a gas bottle for the cooker which we were very wary of using, loads of stray cats which didnt bother us but i would imagine they would annoy some people, the transfer was a nightmare too the bus driver was reading through crazy roads , resort itself has some lovely places to eat and the glass bottom boat is gr8, but not a place i would go back to as not much to do for kids"

"Great apartments! Ideal situation (especially if in an upstairs apartment with the sea view!). Less than 5 mins from the beach or from "Pefkos by Night". The pool at the Coliseum (3 mins away) is great. The only downside of the apartments is the exhorbitant cost of the air conditioning (55 Euros for six nights!) which you absolutely HAVE to have because of the heat (over 40c all week when we were there). Also agree with other reviewers that it is ridiculous that you only get one toilet roll to last you the week! Fortunately we had been forewarned so took one with us! About the resort: Be careful you check what you are charged in the shops. We were overcharged twice. Ensure that the till is showing 0:00 before they start ringing up your purchases and count the items you are being charged for. Shop staff all very surly too. The best resaurant by far is TERPSIS. Fantastic food and great staff. The food has certainly gone up in price in twelve months though. Average cost for a meal with a starter and drinks is 35 Euros for two - not much different than at home! Hired a great 206 cabrio from MARATHON car hire. Great fun at 70 Euros per day. In all we had a great time, and would definately go back to Tsambika but take more spends next time!"

Having travelled Greece for a great numb...
"Having travelled Greece for a great number of years I can rate these appartments in the top 5 or 6. You can get a feeling for them as the door opens and you are met with gleaming floors bedding and large towels changed 3 times during the stay. The appartments are keep clean by Greta everyday except Sunday.WE had no problems with mossis and we even slept with the door open. AC is expensive 55E a week., fan 20E a week and a safety box 10E a week. The resort is very good, plenty of eating places and these need to be tried for yourseld as each persons taste differ. The only place I would ask people to try is Carollis on the way to Lardos 5 min walk.(don't have a starter unless you have a big appetite. The only down side is that it is very British with lots of British waiters etc. We did find it much more expensive this year due to the week pound I would say at least 1/4 up on last year. Even the sun beds in June were 8E a day. Would recommend to anyone. "

"We booked a 14 night holiday but only had 13 nights due to the flight timings. We had to leave our accommodation at mid-day as there wasn't a room available for us to stay on. We would have had just over 14 hours to kick our heels until the transfer to airport. We had no choice but to book a room elsewhere in order to leave our luggage and get some sleep. Which of course we had to pay for!! This was not a good end to a very enjoyable."

"We booked a 14 night package with Kosmar which due to the flight times turned out to be 13 nights resulting in extra expence hireing a room for our last night ! We could not fault the Tsambika studios , cleaned every day by Greta except Sunday . Costas provided an electric grill and a toaster at no extra cost + a sharp knife to chop the chicken ! Mozzies were a problem , couldnt have window open at night , do they spray the resorts at all ? Altogether a good time was had by all ."
