"4 adults stayed for one week in September. Hotel lovely in appearance and kept very clean. Allocated rooms in block 8 which were great, very spacious family rooms although there were only 2 of us in each one. Rooms were in a quiet area but very close to the main area where reception and the restaurant were. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, there was a good selection of about 5 main and 5 hot side dishes available at lunch and dinner along with many cold salads, cheeses and meats. There was always a good selection of puddings, icecream and fruit also. Dined one evening in the taverna for the Italian night, food was nice but not any better than the buffet. Loved the adult only pool, a superb area for relaxing with a pool bar with great service. Location was about a 20 minute walk into Tingaki which was an easy walk though it was very hot to do this during the day, taxis were handy for this trip and only 6 euros. Hired both bikes and a car from the shop next door which were great value and allowed us to see around the island. The bus stops right outside the hotel for Kos Town, well worth a day there to look around. Entertainment at Zorbas was not for us, the Thomas Cook team work very hard but we much preferred the entertainment on the three evenings when acts came to the hotel. Enjoyed the activities that were available as part of the AI (tennis, mini golf, table tennis). The hotel has a handy shop which stocks anything you are likely to need. Our only complaint would be service at the main bar in reception which is open in the evening. The staff are not interested in the guests and pick and choose who they serve first leaving others standing for ages. Overall we had a great break and would definately consider returning to this hotel if we went back to Kos, however the airport for the return home would probably put us off this due to the extreme queues and lack of facilities for hundreds of passengers."

"We have just come back from the most enjoyable holiday at the Zorbas Beach, and can't praise the staff enough, I went with a party of 12 (family) I was put in a room over looking the garden, but the rest of my party had poolside rooms, as my surname is different but as soon as I requested a room closer to them they moved me, they were so helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious, unfortunately we had a leak from the room above, but again the manager was on the ball, sending the maintenance man immediately but finding they couldn't fix the problem there and then they moved me again, this time an upstairs room which had a fantastic view of the complex, pool and the mountains. Food: was great for me being a vegetarian, plenty of fresh fruit and a verity of salads and pastas. My daughter and the rest of my group aren't but found plenty of verity of dishes and cakes. The only annoyance I found were people ignoring the NO SMOKING signs under the terrace which is a no smoking area ( found it was the Germans mostly )but the Maitre d soon removed all ash trays from the tables. He was the most cheerful, friendly gay you could ever meet, I told him he's famous as have read many great comments about him in reviews, which are all justified, so here's praise yet again for you STAMATIS,such a great guy, ( his name means 'one who stops' should change this to 'one who NEVER stops'.haha! You can also book a Greek or Italian meal at reception, must be booked a day in advance for the restaurant, which is located in the Adult only poolside, we sample both and enjoyed both, we had so much fun. We had a fun packed holiday as there is plenty to do, Booked Lido Water Park, great fun for children and adults too. Hired a jeep for the day went up on Mt Dikeos to the village of Zia beautiful views visited the Castle of Antimachia were a guy in traditional Greek dress greeted us, you don't pay to go into the castle just have a photo taken with him and give what you think, then onto Paradise beach which is a 'must do' beautiful sandy beach with great views and sulfur bubbles coming from the sea bed. Plenty to see and do in Kos town which is a 30 minute bus ride costing 2 euro or by taxi which was 16 euro. Took the 3 Island boat cruise which was amazing and the friendly crew made it such a fun trip, Greek dancing on board, saw dolphins too. Lots of water sports to do either from Kos town, Paradise beach or closer to the hotel in Tingaki where we got a jet ski from. Still lots of places to see and things to do that we never got time to see or do, as only there for one week, will definitely be going back to this hotel next time for 10 days. If you go hope you have an amazing time as we did. Yamas! "

"We spent a week here in june 2011 and had the perfect break. the hotel was clean and rooms extremely comfortable with all facilities and working air con! The food suited us.Plenty of choice and better than most all inclusive deals we have been on. Loved the quieter swimming pool oposite the beach so had gentle seabreeze when very hot. The entertainment team worked very hard and did their best to make sure everyone had a good time. Bus stop right outside so you can travel the island. We are coming back next year!"

"we have just returned from two weeks at zorbas beach, although we found the hotel very nice, clean with excellent maid service and pleasent pool surrounding, no fights for sunbeds. But,,, and this is a very big but, the food was diabolical, unapetizing just warm and no choice. If you didn't eat fish, pasta or pork then you was out of luck. we didn't eat a decent meal the whole time we was there.the snack bar was non excistent, had to complain and fight with rep to get sprite machine working as this was only dispensing plain soda for sprite, when we complained to the bar staff they just shrugged their shoulders, so the rep had to be balled out. the entertainment isn't worth watching. in fact the place was deserted by 11.15pm everyone went to bed with boredom. i certainly would not give this hotel a fourb star rating in my mind it only deserves 2-3 for all inclusive. think again before you book to go here. it is in the middle of nowhere with nowhere to go."

"My sister and I stayed at the Zorbas and found it was a very relaxing holiday.Disabled friendly with everything on the flat or ramps. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Lovely clean rooms ( We found the beds very hard ) with fridge and tea making facilities and even beach towels provided. Air conditioned rooms which was a godsend although not on in the reception area and dining room which made it a little to warm when dining and then having to queue for your drinks at night.Food was quite good,we always found something we liked,( excellent salad bar ) but they did not seem to cater for British kids as this is mostly a German holiday hotel. We found the coffee that was served in the afternoons was very strong and just luke warm. Entertainment was mostly for kids and Chicco! the entertainer was brilliant with the kids and spoke in most languages. Make sure you take medical items for there is a lot of mosquitoes about because the hotel is situated near the salt mines. We would return. "

"We all thought that the hotel was lovely although some of the staff were a bit miserable and the food was only a 3 star. But apart from that we all had a really good time, the sunbathing beds were comfy the only problem was that when you first get in the pool it is cold-but when you have been in there for 2 minutes it warms up (although it was only the start of the summer season). There were a lot of bugs but not in the hotel bedrooms. the beach was literally across the road (just 30 foot from the hotel boundary! Also, Tingaki is only a 15 minutes walk from the hotel and only 5 euro in a taxi which you can order from reception! So all in all it was really good and we recommend it!!"

"On arrival we were made to feel very welcome even though this was at 00.30 The hotel had reserved us food and drink. There were 16 in our party that then made the complete party one of 31 people The rooms were very clean and well presented. Although the first few meals were cold once we had mentioned this, it was soon rectified. If you prefer English food this may not be the place for you to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful On the down side there was no adult entertainment, once the childrens disco had finished, apart from one night when it was a night of audience participation. The hotel reception is spacious and comfy although if you travel with children please be aware of the glass coffee tables at low level with sharpe corners. A torch is needed if you wish to walk into the village at night as there some areas with no lighting and no pavements. The bus into Kos town is hourly cost 1.80 (e) though check out the return as they do stop running for a couple of hours at lunch. The people in the local village are friendly and there is a choice of bars though at the time we holidayed many were and had closed for the season. Although we found out that the Zorbas is a German orientated hotel. It was not full whilst we were there so we did not really notice this. A Holiday is what you make it, The staff at the Zorbas help you to enjoy it. "

"the hotel is really nice clean and tidy. the entertainment is a load of rubbish its the same stuff for the kids every night the adults entertainment is just as bad. the food is pathetic is't all the same food every night always fish and chips on the menu food very salty every night. i've got a 2 kids on age 4 and one age 1 and my 4 yr old was aloud to go for kids meals at 6pm but my 1 yr old wasn't so my kids had to eat chips and rice for 2 weeks as the rest of the food was far to salty we ended up eatting out most nights. we hired a car as there is not very much to do in tingki for kids its just pubs and shops. some of kos is really nice. if your looking for a holiday just to sit by the pool and relax maybe but a big no no if you want to entertain your kids "

"I had a very enjoyable holiday. The hotel was clean and very well presented. The choice of food at mealtimes was extensive and catered for all tastes. All staff were very helpful and polite and our room was cleaned to perfection. The air con was provided at no extra charge and was a god-send.Beach towels were also provided which was a great help but wish we'd known about the service before we left! The beach is just across the road which. whilst convenient isnt't the best and you have about a 15 min walk to Tigaki itself if you want a larger beach with watersports. The only criticism from my point of view is the lack of evening entertainment. We ended up walking into Tigaki in the evenings (although there is a bus service) which meant having to pay for drinks in the local tavernas and losing out on the all-inclusive drinks in the evenings.Having said that, I will book to come here again next year!"

"Firstly I must say we had a fantastic holiday as 2 adults with a 16 and 14 year old boys, but have a couple of reservations. The hotel is very clean and modern, and our twin roomed accomodation was ideal. To try and be subjective and helpful to future guests find comments below. GOOD Rooms were large and very clean. Staff were very helpful particullarly in the restaurant. The food and service in the restaurant was always good, with plently of options. BAD When we arrived we were 4 of 10 british people at the hotel, and therefore the children in particular had no one talk to. The entertainment was totally geared to the German guests, and couldn't be understood by anyone else. The 'All Inclusive' bar closed at 11pm, and then drinks were very expensive. Overall a great hotel clean hotel, but dont expect many other British, and late nights at the bar."
