** Loved it.. great friendly service.. would definetely go back again
"I stayed here in Aug 08 and July 10... Was reccommended by a friend.. The owners son came and met us and transferred us from the airport at 11pm in the evening we arrived at both stays..
The lady that runs it was so friendly.. its a family run business and everyone was really nice.. felt like home
Rooms were clean and comfortable.. not that your ever in your room
Breakfast was amazing..
Always a great atmosphere and always full of people
Location was fantastic.. right near the Kos harbour walking distiance to everything.... Clubs, restaurants, Bars..
Overall a fantastic experience and would highly reccommend to all travellers.. Young and old.. Willbe going back the next time we vist Kos again!!!"

ok hotel for 1 night or 2
"the location is very good, in a quiet street near the center ,and the harbour.
the room had old furniture, very spartan , but it was clean.
we had a room on the top floor with "private bathroom", but it was not into the room, but just outside separated from the office only with a sliding door. it'd be better if this door was a locked door!
very tiny bathroom but clean.
breakfast was not included, it's 5 euro if continental (modest breakfast!) , 7 euro if with an omelette and it's served on the nice and airy terrace.
nice staff, above all mrs sonia.
in my opinion it's ok for 1 or 2 nights, not more."

Lovely local family
"Sonia and her sons make you feel very at home with them here - extremely helpful - and nothings too much trouble. Cool, simple rooms with balconies are comfortable and spacious. We only stayed one night - passing through Kos - but they were so kind as to look after our bags for us when we were passing through again on our way home. Also organised us a cab to the airport at all hours of the morning and let us seek refuge on their balcony away from a busy Kos Saturday night!"

We will be back here!!:)
"Absolutely great atmosphere, the owner,a very kind lady gives you the feeling like beeing one of the family.Service is great,we really enjoyed our stay here. The location is also very convenient, everything is nearby, easy to reach. It is not a typical touristic place,it's like you're being a guest in her house,"mi casa es su casa".
Hope to be back next year.:))"

approach with caution
"this is a really nice place to stay, but becareful of the hidden costs. unless you're prepared to pay Euro 7 for a yogurt and coffee for breakfast make very sure you settle with sonia what the costs are for breakfast, coffee, beer etc..Besides being really upset at being taken for a ride - the rooms are spacious. The street below is a bit noisy, but this is Kos afterall. If you're looking for a peaceful location head to Kephalos area in the south of the island - BEAUTIFUL and good value."

A decent place to stay!
"A good stay for the price we paid, rooms were clean, so was the separate bathroom and toilet. Nice balcony in the front room with views of the port/marina. Hosts were lovely and accommodating while trying to get us to take the room, but cooled off quickly after we accepting thought that a bit strange. Other than that though, Pension Alexis was a decent place to rest your head."

Loved the Lady
"We stayed as a family consisting of four people from Turkey at this pension a few weeks ago and were very pleased about this pension. The owner Lady of this pension and her both sons were very kind persons and they helped for everything we needed. This pension has also a very nice shadowy garden with nice flowers, plants and trees to rest and relax, clean rooms and Wc/Showers, is near to the center of the city Kos for shopping, bars, night clubs, tavernas, churches and historical places like the tree of Ippokrates, the world famous physician in the ancient times etc. and you can meet people from every nationality there.. I will add here photos of this pension and our holiday in Kos in the very near future."
