"Our holiday in Zorbas hotel was perfect. We can't fault our 2 weeks and would especially like to thank all the staff , from the cleaners to the reception staff, who made our stay so memorable. Although we've been to Crete many times before, this was by far the best holiday ever. From the moment we arrived until the time we left all the staff worked hard to make our holiday special. My partner even proposed! Thanks again. We'll be back next year for our honeymoon."

An excellent holiday at Zorbas Vllage
"My husband and I have just enjoyed a fortnight at Zorbas Village. We were thoroughly impressed by the friendliness and dedication of all the staff. The management staff were always available to ensure their guest's comfort and enjoyment.Everywhere was kept very clean and the gardens were well attended.
The varied menu catered for everyone and it was a pleasure to dine in the restaurant each day, also the Greek restaurant once a week.
The animation team are a great asset and work tirelessly to make sure guests have an anjoyable stay. They organise daily activities and produce a show in the evening. We admired these young people for all the extra rehearsals they undertook to ensure perfect shows.
A Greek night was held once a week to provide an opportunity to have a dance and join in the fun.The assistant manager is an expert at Greek dancing!
Zorbas Village is next to the beach where the sea is a delight to swim in.Don't forget your "sea" shoes!
Car hire is available locally for those who wish to explore the island.
This holiday is ideal for families and couples. You will find a very warm welcome and certainly value for money."

"just got back from a really excellent holiday, just wished we had booked 2 weeks!! The hotel is in a lovely area nice and quite yet only a 10 minute taxi ride to hersonissos. The hotel it self is well laid out with excellent facilities, and the staff cant do enough for you, right from check in to leaving nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent and so was the all inclusive drinks package, the only thing i would say was perhaps the bathrooms in the hotel rooms could need up dating but i understand that the hotel will be having a re furb at the end of the season so i quess this will be done then?? All in all if you want a totally relaxing holiday but night life only a taxi ride away then go for this great hotel."

One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had
"A pleasant stay at a very good hotel. Excellent food and friendly staff at a well located part of the country, with good connections to main roads and close to neighbouring towns.
A short walk to the beach with local shops and restaurants just a few yards away.
Entertainment was fun and the animators worked well with children of all ages.
Towels on the ready, you'd have to be an early bird to book your sunbed."

i would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit the island of Crete ! :) the accommodation was very nice, the rooms were very spacious and quaint. The complex had facilities for all ages, and i very much enjoyed the daily activities on offer, more specifically water polo which towards the end of the holiday i may say i had become quite the player ! :P all the staff were pleasant and friendly, it was a delight to stay there ! i really would like to return very soon ! it is definitely worth saving up for ! it is also in close proximity to the main town too, which offers a good selection of shops, restaurants & most importantly night life !

What a wonderful resort!
"My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful week spent at the Aquis Zorbas Village. The staff were always very friendly and always tried thier best to accomodate. Even when they were finished working for the night they would always stop to chat and seemed really happy to work there.
We were allocated a twin room when we had requested, but we were moved a soon as a double became available later on in the first day, which had a great view. The garden were well kept and didnt attaract loads of insects/mosquitos etc. In fact there were hardly any around.
The food had a great range as there seemed to be a good mix of Europeans staying in the resort and the food seemed to go down well with everyone. The resturant seemed to get quite busy towards the end of the stay (when the schools finished), so a little hard to find a table at times
The resort is right on the beach, so it was lovely being able to lie on the beach, then pop to the outdoor bar in the resort (1 minute walk!). The beach is shingle but was clean and relatively empty. Usually a red flag beach, so you are not able to swim out very far - but it is georgeous nethertheless! Sometimes the pool area was a little crowded and it was not possible to find sunbeds - some people were 'reserving' them in the moring with a towl, then promptly disappearing out for the whole day and expecting free beds on return - a little unfair we thought. To hire 2 sunbeds and a parasol on the beach is 6-9euros. Of course you can always take your towels and relax in the sand..!
The animation team keep the kids entertained and adults with various activies like beach volleyball, step areobics and table tennis, but a night they perform at the outdoor ampitheatre with dancing, comedy etc. They keep it simple, wear wigs and costumes and are hilarious, great for kids and adults alike. They manage to perform with 4/5 languages and are very professional! We will miss having a drink, laughing under the stars at the entertainment! Not a lot else to do around there, a few bars, but great if you want a realxing holiday away from it all..."

not more than 3 star accomodation with nice restaurant
"Upon arrival we were taken to twin room instead of double, the double room was available only after two days and only after third or forth reminder. We had some leaks in the bathrooms which were not fixed during our stay. The reception personal were not rude, and always were ready to help. Free Wi-Fi access to internet was only available the first and the two last day during our stay - it was not available in both rooms we stayed - only outside.
Restaurant offered home-made cuisine and variety of choices, the service is good.
Animation team from Italy did the best to entertain the guests - 5 of 5.
The beach is covered with stones. The first day I hurt my knee playing beach volleyball. The red flag indicating the bad weather was on the whole week, but anyway the sea at that location was definitely not for swimming - too many stones.
So we had to stay at the pool all the time, which was ok.
Place needs renovation, it's not a 4 star.
We didn't like the location and the beach, but maybe it's the matter of taste.
We liked restaurant, food and animation team efforts to entertain the guests."

Wonderful relaxing hotel
"Went here for my birthday.
This was a last minute booking and it was wonderful.
The hotel is seconds away from the beach, is in beautiful well kept gardens with quaint little apartments that are clean and spacious (the beds were very hard though!). I agree with everything everyone else says about this hotel so won't bore you.
Food - good
Surroundings - clean
Hotel staff - very nice and helpful
Amination Team - Got it just right - never bothered you if you did not want to know and worked very hard
Would go back."

Enjoyable relaxing holiday
"We were looking for a cheap, good all inclusive holiday, we found it here.
The hotel was clean and tidy, gardens were well kept, the room we stayed in it was basic but adequate.
We never had a problem getting sun loungers at 9.30am, but we sunbathed on the grass by the pool bar, although we did find odd loungers still available at 11. You have to pay for sunloungers on the beach.
The animation team work extremely hard really friendly but don't push you to join in.
The hotel restaurant was good, never had a problem getting a table, food was good ,not lots of choice but meals were different everyday. We thought this was a positive as in previous all inclusives there has always been too much choice but end up with similar dishes every day. I am vegetarian and plenty of choice, though food wasn't always as hot as I Iiked. Salads were excellent. Drinks were self service in the restaurant which was great., just fill up jugs of beer, wine or soft drinks.
Make sure you book the Olive Tree restaurant ,food and service was excellent, you could have up to 5 courses.
The bar staff a the pool bar worked extremely hard especially Michalis. If you sit round the pool bar they will serve your drinks in glasses, but if you take drinks round the pool its plastic glasses. They introduced a queuing service whilst we were there which stopped people pushing in. There are complimentary pool/beach towels which you can change every couple of days.
For kids or adults ice cream was available all day.
There is an indoor pool which is really cold but was nice to cool down out of the sun, also a small gym area. The shop on the complex sells most things you need and english papers from 12.00.
Just outside the hotel on the beach road to the left are a couple of gift shops and bars. We enjoyed the bar with the windmill, lager very reasonably priced.
Went to Hersonnisos one day, definitely worth a visit. Lots of bars and restaurants along the front., lots of shops down little streets off the main road. Rep told us how to walk there but never again! Set off at 9.30am, up one extremely steep hill then onto the main road, took 50 minutes and was too hot. Got a taxi back. Would definitely reccommend a taxi both ways.
The hotel has only just been took over by Aquis. Manager was about all day walking round the complex asking for customer comments.
We had a really good holiday, I would definitely go back."

"Just returned from a lovely 1 weeks stay at the Aquis Zorbas Village Hotel complex and no complaints at all really apart from the hotel is a little isolated and a ten minute 9 Euro taxi ride to the busy town of Hersonissos. We had a mixed bag of weather with sun, cloud and even rain but only to be expected considering its mid-October and the end of season. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are a little small but modern with fridges and flat screen tv's but unfortunately all foreign channels. There are dvd players so families with youngsters could take dvd's to occupy the kids. The staff are all really friendly and assistant manager George is a pleasure to deal with nothing to much trouble and always a happy smiling face, lovely fellar. The complex is all inclusive and food and drink was plentiful and varied. The animation team were available everyday starting with aqua aerobics and finishing late afternoon with table tennis and darts. A big thanks to "Habib" I can still hear him now " volleeeeebawl" each morning and afternoon which was on the beach a few steps from the hotel pool. Night entertainment was fine we had a greek night, a BBQ night (15 euro each)and a fabulous Tropicana night which was brilliant. All in all we had a lovely weeks stay which flew past which shows we enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family it was absolutely delightful...."
