Great location, great staff, good Chalet
"We went with Neilson. The staff were 2nd to none and attention to detail was excellent (including a candlelit dinner centre piece made with icicles). The standard of the meals provided by Jez and his 2 assistants was also excellent. Problems in the past with Chalets included not enough food. No problem here, plenty for everyone and more. A nice 'holiday' touch on one occasion was the Bloody Mary after breakfast to use up the tomato juice! The Chalet was clean and the bedrooms warm. The jacuzzi was bubbly and the sauna hot. The only downside to the chalet is the boot room doesn't have boot dryers (put them in the sauna at the end of the night!). The TV is also very small but obviously not a problem on a skiing holiday.
The location is brilliant for the slopes, right next to the Boyes run but the nightlife is very quiet with 1 bar nearby, although there is a regular bus into town.
Neilson Ski host, Simon, visited every day, kept us up to date and took us on an exhilarating run for a day throughout the area."
