It humbles you to be alive
"Paradise.. what can I say? There is a special bench where you can watch the sunset - it humbles you to be alive. The view is amazing and the peace indescribable - a place where you feel at home. You are treated as one of the family. Nothing is too much trouble. Warm, welcoming, peaceful and relaxing. Good healthly and wholesome food. Soula, Niki and there new team member Nancy are very accomodating and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Soula moved a bench in the wright position for me to watch the glorious sunset. A fruit bowl topped up with seasonal fruit not that you ever get hungry between the wholesome meals. A special place when you visit once you will always want to return"

Service second to none - serene stay in Cyprus!
"We were looking for a holiday where we could completely unwind and so didn't want hte hussle and bustle or formality of a large international 4 star hotel. Our expectations of the Paradisos Hills was high given the previous reviews - and our expectations were exceeded, especially with the service.
We arrived late on our first night and were immediately made to feel welcome - there was also a wonderfully informal, family atmostphere of the dining area by reception. Although late, we were offered anything made fresh from the menu.
Our room had the most fantastic views, we were lucky enough to get a corner room with views over both the pool and hills to one side and the sea in the distance to the other side. Breathtaking scenery. Beyond the views. the room itself was clean and functional with no particular frills.
The hotel breakfasts were good; fresh fruit, cereal, hot selection and so on. Freshly squeezed oranges were a highlight especially as the Orange Groves were in full fruit locally.
We ate dinner at the hotel a few nights when we'd had long days out walking and didn't fancy the 15-20 minute drive into Polis or slightly further to Lakki. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the staff couldn't do enough for you. There was a buffet on International Woman's Day one evening and it was great sampling the different dishes. Not all the food was to my personal taste but the atmosphere always made up for this.
Further afield there are some great walks available, the highlight being the Akamas Peninsula. We spent our days getting lost in the car and enjoying the wonderful views and villages off the beaten track. The hotel is well placed for a variety of locations but if in the evenings you want a change of scene from the hotel then you'll need to drive down the hill.
A really lovely hotel with a service second to none (and we've stayed in lots of hotels around the world). A stay is worth it for the views alone."

simply the nicest hotel I've every stayed in
"Paradisos Hills combines an attractive building and clean, comfortable rooms with good, reasonably priced, mainly Cypriot cuisine and very friendly staff - and the most beautiful views to the sea and mountains you could imagine. The rural location is ideal for walkers, hikers and bird watchers, with easy access to the E4, Paphos Forest and the Akamas."

A lovely place to stay
"I concur with the previous reviewer. Located on a lovely spot from which you can see mountains and the sea, on the edge of a non-picturesque town, which is difficult to access without a car. It's about a fifteen minute drive from Polis, and about 45 minutes from Paphos. Lovely view, good food, accommodating owners."

Fabulous - the real cyprus
"Having booked this hotel based on the other reviews about this hotel we were not disappointed. The hotel is in the most fabulous location - a car is a must to make the most of the area - the views are stunning - to the sea and the mountains. The hospitality of the sisters is warm and friendly - you feel as if you have known them for years. The whole family comes to visit - just popping in for a coffee or helping out for the Sunday buffet. The food is wholesome and hearty and plenty of it. We stayed a week and had days when the hotel was full and others when we were the only guests - we didn't have the best weather on our trip but it didn't matter, my only regret it is that I couldn't sit out on our balcony so often to take in the views and the surrounding countryside. The walking in the locality is excellent, we are not hikers but like to take walks and there are plenty of places for 6-12km strolls! Get the Sunflower walks book for the area it is excellent. We are not creatures of habit and rarely return to the same place twice but Paradisos Hills may be the exception - if you going to Cyprus do what I did - read the reviews and contact the girls you will not be disappointed."

A jewel in the forest
"We stayed two nights at the Paradisos Hills Hotel in Lysos Cyprus, as part of a walking holiday package. Sadly the weather let us down, with the highest rainfall in 7 years. But this should not put you off this fabulous family run hotel. Run by sisters Souls and Niki the welcome is warm, the views spectacular and the food is to die for! Succulent Lamb with roast potatoes and ochra was wonderful wholesome food, ideal for a cold evening in front of the roaring fire.
Nothing is too much trouble for our hosts and I hope we get to return in more clement weather."

True Meaning of the word PARADISE !!!!!!!!
"The most fulfilling experience of my life...... If you want to feel like your part of the family and leave knowing you have made friends for life then choose Hotel Paradisos. Words can not describe the warmth and welcoming this family gives you!! The breath taking views is unbelievable sea on one side and mountainous hills on the otherside........ photos will never do this hotel justice.
This is what Cyprus is all about, the only way to realise how amazing this place is, is to experience it for yourself.
The stone structure is built in traditional "Cypriot village style." Absolutely amazing nature surrounds you........ I actually felt my stress release by just sitting in the gardens absorbing all the peaceful surroundings.
When we were told how the hotel came about we had to hold back the tears.... It was a fathers dream and his children made it a reality after his passing, he actually slept under the very pine tree in the hot summer months which over shadows the Hotel.
Please do yourself a favour and recharge your mind, body and soul and take back a piece of culture and family hospitality you will never experience any where else..... IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS......... and who knows we might even bump into each other there!!!!!"

"Paradise" the name of the hotel
"Peace and Tranquility at its best. Lovely location for nature lovers. We received wonderful service from the owners, they were very friendly and always ready to please. It is a family run hotel. Our room had a spacious balcony with stunning sea views and lovely landscaped gardens. The intricate stonework gives it an old rustic Cypriot feel.
It is only 15 minutes drive from Polis and the sea.
The Buffet has a great variety of traditional Cypriot cusine.
I have toured many small greek islands and have been to a variety of 4 star hotels which felt more like 2 star hotels, this by far exceeded my expectations. I give it a 5 out of 5!
Absolutely Stunning. I highly recommend this hotel for all ages."

"i stayed here with my husband for one week last summer and have been meaning to write a review ever since, but did not get around to it. since holiday booking time will soon be upon us, i feel i must say what a fantasic hotel this is. it has a wonderful location, up in the hills, with fantasic views across the hills to the sea. the rooms are lovely, each with its own balcony, offering such beautiful views, and such quiet and peacefulness. the hotel is run by two sisters, who look after their guests just as if they were family members. the hotel is quite small, with only 15 rooms, so it never feels too crowded or busy, and gives the opportunity for personal service whenever needed.
i thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommadation in this area of cyprus. however, it is necessary to hire a car to be able to explore the area fully. there are pleasant, uncrowded beaches nearby, and many pretty villages and places to discover. however, the hotel is set in such a wonderful location that you could simply relax and enjoy the views and the home cooked food at the hotel."

"Paradisos" could not be more appropriate!
"As two "professional travellers" who have seen more hotels than we care to count over the years, we read the reviews of Paradisos Hills and thought "could this really be true"?
Well, it is! We booked for a week and stayed for twelve days...enough said.
The location is fabulous, the family-run atmosphere totally charming, and the peace and tranquility beyond compare.
As for activities there's horse-riding, mountain hiking, swimming, and if you fancy something different try "Cooking with Nikki" in the hotel kitchen.....recently introduced one to five day courses.
We're already planning our next visit!"

"We stayed at the hotel for two weeks in May of this year.
The location of the hotel is wonderful, set in a beautiful setting in the hills just a short drive from Polis. The rooms are very modern, bright and airy and ours had lovely views across the landscape , forests on the one side and views down to the coast on the other.
The service at the hotel was really good and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Meals were of a really good standard and the menu was very varied.
We will most certainly return again."

Very Special Hotel
"I spent 7 nights, half board, at this hotel with my 3 daughters (in 2 communicating rooms), on a strong recommendation from a Cypriot friend. It completely exceeded my expectations, which were already high. The setting is exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the exceptional view over the hills and towards the sea. All you can hear is the chirping of the birds. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The hospitality of the owners is incredibly warm, and we felt part of the family by the end of our stay, something I have never encountered at any other hotel! Nikki is a very special host, always bright, cheerful and out to please, and her cuisine is absolutely lovely. It's hard to leave the breakfast or dinner table on the terrasse overlooking the turquoise pool and the breathtaking view. There are so many things to do in Cyprus as well as just relaxing, and Paradisos Hills was an ideal base for our discovery. It was an idyllic holiday and I highly recommend Paradisos Hills Hotel. We all wish we could still be there now!"
