The place to be for authentic Cypriot hospitality and location.
"I can highly recommend Corallia Beach Hotel for everything. I have traveled to Cyprus for over 35years and stayed in various establishments, but for me, if you want a true feel of authentic Cypriot hospitality (its family owned and run)plus location, it truly is on the edge of the sea, wonderful staff, walks, birds, flowers, peace and tranquility, plus a bus stop on the doorstep. Then this is the place to be. Can't wait for my next stay with them."

Luck of the draw
"We booked this hotel on internet by pure chance. We stayed 7 nights, arrived late and were met by a pleasant member of staff who offered us a cold glass of orange squash. We were directed to our room which we found to be lovely and clean, yes a bit old and very basic, but nonetheless clean and tidy. The beds were very hard and the air conditioning non existent, it only seemed to recirculate the hot air in the rooms. We turned it off and opened the windows and balcony doors and this worked well during the night. We booked B&B, found the breakfast tolerable but only had a few evening meals which were fine for the price. We did enjoy eating out at the many restaurants available within walking distance or by using the very efficient bus service available. The pool area and the pool itself was always very very clean and the members of staff always willing to assist or serve you. The beach is not for hotel use only, but we found it good enough for our needs, it was not that over busy. The TV, well that is another subject, non existent apart from one English station and guess what, BBC News 24 channel only."

When arriving at the Corallia overall im...
"When arriving at the Corallia overall impressions were good, the rooms have an excellent sea view and well equiped kitchen, basic but nice. rooms cleaned everday and fresh towels. Although we did have a huge problem with our air conditioning unit, the first 3 nights were fine. then on the 4th night we were woken up by a smell only to be described as a public toilet- it was so foul we could not sleep in our room we had to sit out on the balcony untill it had cleared and turn the Air conditioning off, this was at 5am, 6am in the morning. the staff were not very helpfull and refused to move us to another room and when the manager came up to our room she refused to believe us and said there had be no problems like this before although the chap on reception seemed to have known about this problem before. the smell did seam to clear by mid morning.was very upset by this as we could not sleep properly and they didn't want to help us at all. would not reccommend going to the Corallia Hotel at all. We went to Cyprus for the first time and...
"We went to Cyprus for the first time and our first look at the apartment left us speechless. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment facing the see and were shown to a studio apartment with 3 single beds in a line (my bed was right next to the sink and cooker), the apartment stank of stale sweat and tobacco and overlooked a busy building site. We had to sleep in the room overnight but it was dreadful and we were ready to fly home but we were relocated at the Coral Beach Hotel for 9 days which was absolutely great. The management at the Corallia beach were obviously overstretched and were very keen to help us but we had to return for the last 5 days of our holiday. We were shown our apartment and were very pleasantly surprised to find that it was clean and comfortable with a sea view - very different from our first day. All in all, we had a good holiday and are returning this year to the Capital Coast Apartments, hopefully they will be open in time. Would love to hear from anyone who is in Cyprus and who can fill us on on the development. "

Lovely apartments in a wonderful setting
"We had a fantastic week at this hotel. Apartments were spacious and clean, with good facilities. Even a full oven if you want to cook. Kettle and toaster also provided and plenty of kitchen utensils. Maid cleaned every day bar Sunday and towels and linen were changed frequently.Beds were comfortable and free air conditioning a great bonus as temp was in the upper 30's most days.
Pool area was spacious with plentiful sunbeds and direct access to the beach. Views from hotel grounds over the bay were stunning.
We only ate in the restaurant twice but it was very reasonably priced and the food was plentiful with a different theme each night.
Excellent bus service to Paphos or main Coral Bay resort only 80 cents and stopped right outside the hotel.
Due to its location on the outskirts of the resort this hotel is not for those who want a lively holiday but for relaxation in lovely surroundings it is hard to beat."

wonderful apartments, wonderful holiday
"This was a fabulous holiday, lovely clean apartments and very friendly and helpful staff.
We had intended eating off site every night but we ended up eating in the hotel restaurant as the food was so good and very reasonably priced.
Pool was immaculate and loads of sunbeds.
We will definately be going back there again soon."

"Very friendly staff, great location The pool was being refurbished when we went which was a shame, and considering we went in Febuary the weather was great.
Love this Tripadvisor Website, Keep up the good work."

Good Value Holiday
"We stayed at this Apart Hotel in September. We knew its location as we have been to Coral Bay previously. Its location is probably one of the best for peace and quiet, with superb views from your sunbed (the Hotel has a lovely refurbished pool). We were half board - so did not do any cooking in our apartment-room but the fridge was extremely useful for cold drinks, and we found the facilities in the room useful for snacks etc. (kettle, toaster etc.). The room was not exciting - but basically clean and comfortable, the side sea view was not exciting (we looked out over a plantation - soon to be a development site no doubt), and the maid service was good. The food was not exciting but was of a good standard and we found something to our taste at most meals, and lunchtime snacks good value. The regular bus service is excellent and good value at 80cents for any journey whether into Coral Bay or Paphos, and the buses are v. clean. All in all we had a very good holiday and we got a good value holiday for the money we paid, with excellent taxi transfers thrown in. Would stay here again."

Great hotel if you get your room
"This hotel is in a great location, unfortunately they do operate a policy of overbooking rooms, so if your unlucky enough to be like us don't expect to get what you paid for.
My family and I booked a one bed apt with side sea view, on arrival we were allocated a studio, so my partner and I had to share a room with our 15 year old son, we complained and we received another room for him, only after 3 days did we receive our room we had paid for, no view nothing.
If you do complain they will make things up, so be careful and don't sign anything.
If you do go and your allocated either rooms 05, 06 good luck!!!!!!"

Nice pool, shame about the room
"We have just returned from a two week holiday in Cyprus, spent travelling around the island. We booked 3 nights at the Corallia Beach Hotel Apartments online before we left, paying around GBP 45 per night for a 'side sea view studio' (x-ray vision required for the view of the sea).
Our initial impression of the Coral Bay resort on the drive to the apartment complex wasn't great - an uninspiring procession of bars, excursion agencies, food outlets repeating anonymously down a busy 500m strip. The Corallia Beach is another 500m or so further down the road (there is a regular bus service, but we can't vouch for it as we had our own wheels).
The Corallia Beach has a superb position at the North end of the bay. It has initially impressive public areas - especially the lovely pool set in lush grass just above the beach itself.
The room (number 06, should you ever have the misfortune to be offered it), however, was a major disappointment. Our studio was on the ground floor looking out over some lawn and a hedge. As we were at the corner of the hotel nearest the beach our small patch of patio was a minor thoroughfare so we didn't have much privacy, and couldn't even safely use the area to dry towels or clothing. The room also neighboured residential quarters for the staff who all smoked like chimneys - we know this because the air conditioning unit helpfully shared their smoke with us. Also, as the staff kept irregular hours, we were woken up as they noisily came and went.
The room was generally clean-ish, but not in a good state of decoration (it had been some time since it was last painted, as evidenced by the assorted stains and handprints on the walls). The apartments are supposedly self catering, but if you want to cook you will be limited to heating up canned food - but bring your own tin opener! Annoyingly both the room's plug points were already in use (TV in one, the fridge / hotplate double wired into the other), so boiling the kettle while watching TV wasn't possible. The shower room (no bath) was spacious and in slightly better repair than the room if a little mouldy around the edges.
We also had a minor bug problem. When the sprinklers came on at night to water the admittedly lovely gardens, the bugs saught refuge on the pathways, and from there crawled, slithered and hobbled under the large gap under the apartment door (we got wise on the second night and wedged a towel under the door to deter the visitors).
There seemed little point complaining at the time as we overheard a couple of other unhappy guests trying to move rooms - they were told that the complex was full - perhaps they got our room when we left!
Overall - if you're after a simple beach holiday and manage to get a good room (not on the ground floor), then the Corallia Beach is probably OK - close to the beach with a good pool and a decent breakfast, plenty of lively bars in the resort strip - however we stayed in far better rooms all over the island, and generally paid around half what it cost us to stay at the Corallia Beach. We hired a car while we were on the island and can definitely recommend looking around the rest of the island as Cyprus has a lot to offer beyond the resorts."

"We booked our holiday off the back of these good reviews, which on the whole are accurate.
However, our problems arose because the hotel was very overbooked. Having paid for a one bedroom apartment, the three of us were intially allocated a studio (and a very shabby one at that). We were one of at least three families on the day that we arrived with this problem and from discussions being held in the reception it continued throughout the week. It took a lot of moaning from us to get the apartment which we booked two days later (effectively ruining the first two days).
Unfortunately overbooking in peak season seems to be a way of life these days. It would have helped if our Rep from Libra Holidays could have assisted, but unfortunately she seemed powerless to persuade the hotel management.
In summary, it's not a bad hotel; but I wouldn't book to go there in peak season!"

Really nice, friendly and excellent location
"We have just returned from 2 gloriously relaxing weeks at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. We had read the reviews and it appeared to be exactly what we wanted, no cheesy 'entertainment' every afternoon, no kid's clubs, for a family wanting to spend time together it appeared ideal.
We were not disappointed, pool was great, and clean, endless sunbeds either by the pool or on the landscaped grassy areas and the beach was about 100ms away.
Rooms were of a good size and cleaned regularly, safes available for only £7 a week, air con worked well, and was definitely needed. Kitchen and bathroom could have done with modernising but this was a minor issue when compared to the location and general friendly ambience of the place.
Restaurant was OK, breakfast was a bit hit and miss sometimes but generally OK, buffet dinners were cheap, good quality and well varied, we went tp the pelican in pahos one night and had a worse meal, in worse surrounding, for 3 times as much !!! Lovely view out to sea from the restaurant and all staff extremely frindly.
Travel rep was non-existent throughout, not sure if this was a good thing or not but would have at least expected a welcome brief / pack.
Buses into Coral Bay and Paphos were excellent, buses clean and well driven, although the drivers must have been specially selected for their ability to remain miserable at all times !!
Nice restaurants on Coral Bay strip, best we found was the Serano / Seriano.
Paphos was OK, aquarium is an embarassment to the island, they obviously don't have any animal rights groups out there.
Paphos water park was a god day out, although pretty expensive, £60 cyp to get in and another £50 or so on food and drink, all reasonably priced but soon mounted up, excellent idea with the wristbands though, all drinks / food etc are charged to your wristband and you pay on exit.
In summary a good hotel, in an excellent location, if you want somewhere to go and spend time with your family, with a lovely quiet pool, and a nice beach then this is the place to go."
