Great vacation!! Great accomodation!!!
"Me and my girlfriend were in Hvar for 7 days. I located Dujmovic apartments on TripAdvisor and after that I contacted Ana. We exchanged couple of e-mails and after that I transfered money to reserve one of the apartments. When we got there I called Ana and she waited for us in Hvar. The apartment was really good for the price. Bedroom, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It also had a balcony with sea view. Great. I can only have good words for Hvar and people of Hvar. We really had amazing 7 days and I wish we had time for more. Ante and Ana are great hosts and and very communicative and helpful. We would definitely go back over there."

Decent basic clean accomodation
"Booked with Ana after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Stayed for a whole week. My thoughts do echo the general consensus of feedback. If you want reasonably priced self catering accomodation in Hvar, this place is great. Be prepared for a short stroll up some rather steep steps (numerous routes)! Our apparentment was BASIC. If you want something with a bit of wow factor and don't want a mere humble abode this may not be the best for you. I did say to Ana when I left that a bucket to wash swimwear and perhaps some bigger glassware (the drinking glasses were like shot glasses!) would make life a lot easier. Cleaning utensils generally could have been better. But then it's a basic flat so I can understand why there isn't much clutter. Put it this way, this place is awesome in terms of a decent roof over your head which is great value compared to a hotel. And you can use the extra pennies to do luxury things on your stay like eat in nice restuarants, charter your own boat/ yacht and buy treats for yourself and family. Ana is very helpful and her home made olive oil (which she sells along with her herb and cherry brandy) was excellent."

The hostess with the mostest - nothing was too much for Ana.
"We're just back from spending 4 nights in one of Ana's apartments in Hvar. There are lots of accommodation options in Hvar depending on your needs. Hvar itself is a beautiful place, a real chill out zone. There are endless cafes and restaurants around the square where most people spend their days people watching. Be aware tho that there are steps EVERYWHERE if access is a problem. Ana's apartments are beautiful. We had a large 2 b/room apt with kitchen and lovely balcony where we could enjoy the beautiful view. Ana usually collects you from the bus station when you arrive off the ferry. It is about a 10mins walk all down hill & steps into town but remember you have to climb the hill & steps on your way back, you do get used to it but being quite unfit it was a bit of a shock to the system the first couple of times!! There are a number of ways up and down, some easier then others so explore. Ana herself could not be more helpful but is not intrusive in anyway. We had another group from our party in another of Anaâs apartments and some of their bags had gone missing on the flight over, Ana was extremely good in assisting them in Croatian so they could communicate with the airline and then arranged an early morning taxi when the bags arrived. She even helped out with our ironing in a moment of panic (its a long story!). My only small suggestion would be that there are kettles & toasters provided in the apt's and also larger towels. Also our apt the shower head was not wall mounted and it is quite hard to have a shower and hold the shower head at the same time. These points in no way effected our stay but mere suggestions that would have made a great stay a little better. Thanks for all you help Ana, we hope to return to Hvar some day. PS keep watch of your bags on the ferry, unfortunately when we returned to collect our cases from the luggage hold when we docked in Split there was a woman rummaging through the front pockets and it took her a few minutes to stop eventho i was standing there telling her to get away from our bags. Luckily she did not get anything but we noticed her going for another bag after ours as the owners were arriving."

Very Friendly Place, Unusually Helpful for Croatia
"We found this place by using TripAdvisor, and the advice was very accurate. Ana is a great hostess, she picked us up from the bus station after we arrived on the ferry, and brought us back to the place. Because we had already emailed with her, and wired her the first day's fee, we didn't even have to stop and fill out a bunch of paperwork first. We walked into our apartment w/ a view of the water and the islands, changed, and headed down to the boardwalk that leads to the main town. This place is excellently situated, about 5 minute walk to the nearest beach right by the Amfora Hotel, and about a 15 minute walk along the water to Hvar town. You get nice proximity without the noise of being right in the hussle-bustle port area, and her place was spacious (maybe 400 sq. ft. or so, with an outdoor terrace where you could have a drink, coffee, breakfast, etc.). She and her husband were extremely polite and were full of smiles, something we didn't always find so easily with many other Croatians all of the time. She also had good advice on restaurants, and which islands to visit for day trips. The price of this place was great, at just 80 Euros ($100 USD), the best value we found throughout our 9 day trip to Croatia, by far, I only wish we had more time there. We'll return to her place in the future, for sure."

Beautiful place to stay!
"There is plenty of private accomodation to choose from in Hvar so if you book in advance it should be easy to find the perfect spot. We stayed in Ana Dujmovic's apartments and we were not disappointed. The house is beautiful with apartments and rooms at very reasonable prices. Ana was very helpful before we arrived supplying us with a map and ferry details. When we arrived in Hvar she picked us up at the bus station and drove us to the apartment (the drive seems further away because you cannot drive through Hvar town) The apartment was clean and nicely furnished (simple, pretty and easy to maintain) with a fully equipt kitchen, sitting area, SAT tv, spacious bedroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the well kept garden. It had air-conditioning which is a must in the Summer! The Hotel Amfora was very close and we could stroll down to the little stony beach (it's difficult to find a sandy beach in Hvar) in front of the hotel to sunbathe. The town is a short walk 5-10mins(the view is fantastic and it was lovely to walk down the steps to the town). The family were not intrusive and we were given our own keys. There is a lovely barbecue area for all to use We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend these apartments. [--]"
