Excellent hotel food and staff
"Going back to this hotel for the third year staff were very friendly through out the hotel some even thanked you for coming back to trakia are friends were in different hotels and wanted to trans fare because of all rules and fines for wetting the floor and bringing friends back overall it's a quite hotel away from all the madness in the square which is only a short walk or train ride with plenty of bars and restaurant s within 2minutes walk from the hotel."

"I spent 14 days with my wife and 3 children at Trakia garden this past August. Pricing is set for a family, and while it seems to depend on how one books, I don't think I'd have been able to find the same quality for what I paid.
A wonderful stay and I'd recommend it to anyone.

top place top staff top holiday
"just returned from a week stat in trakia garden hotel with my partner Amanda and we had an absolutely fabulous time. Hotel is spotless clean and all the staff are so warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them, Our only concern would be the fact that we went on a half board basis and the food served was not really that good but we were warned about that in advance so it was not un expected!! Didnt cause us any problems though because hotel is perfectly situated for any sort of good, cheap food that ou want. I would definately go back to the trakia and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel . Dave and Amanda . Telford .West midlands"

"Having just returned from Trakia Garden hotel I can honestly state that if you are a non smoker like me you will be amazed how the smell of smoke is everywhere.
Even your bed linen/pillows etc ,all smell of stale tobacco.
Everyone's aware of how poor hotel food is in Bulgaria, This hotel is no exception.
Its located in downtown sunny beach close to the main road, where traffic is continous, so its not really quiet.
On a brighter side, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly ,but its not for me."

Hotel trakia is a lovely hotel situated...
"Hotel trakia is a lovely hotel situated in the middle of sunny beach, the Hotel is spotless, the pool is ideal for kids and adults , the pool bar is also handy for snacks and drinks. The biggest let down is the food, which is mainly catering towards their large amount of German guests, occasionally there was a main course which we could eat (and if all else fails there was chips every night), their desserts are also the same everynight if there is any left by the time you get there, they also serve all their food lukewarm which after speaking to the rep is the way they eat their food, if going back again would go self catering.

If you want a good holiday give this pla...
"If you want a good holiday give this place a miss, no one speaks English, no one even smiles at you.
The person on reception Iâm sure has never smiled in her life and donât know how to. We got dropped off outside the hotel at 3.30 in the morning, no help with our luggage, we had to find our own way in, the brochure showed a 3 level hotel, there was 6?
We thought we were in the wrong hotel but the coach having dropped our cases on the pavement just took off again. We were given a key but no help up to our room, which we had to find ourselves.
Itâs fine if you are German, Russian or anything else but English, even the shop keepers were abrupt and rude to the English people, we had no English speaking people for the first 4 days we were there.
As for BALKAN AIR, we were given the pre flight safety guide in Bulgarian?
When you fly from Gatwick thereâs not many people able to understand Bulgarian? She did try to give the instructions in English but gave up. There was no duty free trolley or drinks trolley and the meal is not worth mentioning.
You have been warned."
