Nice Hotel, terrible food
"I stayed at the Belleville Hotel with 2 friends. Our room ( a family room) had 2 large single beds and one tiny uncomfortable chair bed. On arrival the room was spotless and was just what we expected and needed for our stay- a nice clean room with en suite, TV and air conditioning. The hotel itself was also spotlessely clean throughout our whole stay. The staff were friendly although some had very poor english. The food was horrendous, if you want to live off chips, gravy and fish fingers for the a week then this is the place for you!
They also charge you for everything they possibly can-we were there on a half board basis but had to pay to a drink with our meals. They will also charge you extra for a tiny foil wrapped cube of butter if you don't fancy eating dry bread...!
It was only British people staying while we were there, mainly families which gave the place a friendly feel. It was also very safe, we left cameras etc in our room when we went out and used a safe at reception (for a weekly charge of 80 lev which id £40) for passports and money.
On our depature day the bus to take us to the aiport was arriving at midnight, usual check out time at the hotel is mid-day but we were 'allowed' to keep our room untill 10pm for £20 each.
Over all a nice hotel but out for all they can get. If you're going take a packed lunch!
Area of Sunny Beach is lovely but watch out for restaurants trying to scam you with false advertising."

"Stayed here with a friend end of June/early July.
Rooms are a nice size, maid service is good rooms cleaned nearly every day. Bathroom is nice has a proper shower cubicle thing rather than a tatty curtain. Food was ok good variety but always tasted cheap! Good distance from Sunny Beach and Nessebar although you have to get bus, taxi or train. It was a bit annoying sometimes and it obviously gets a bit expensive to keep doing it. The balconys are all to high so you cant see whats going on which is a shame. All rooms have view of main road and some sea. Dont expect to get any sleep if you stay here yeh in the brochure it says a main road but trust me it is a BUSY main road day and night! All night the traffic kept us up its constant. You get free air con and a tele which is quite nice. Pool was ok but was a bit too busy with loads of screaching tots and young children. Reception staff are useless speak hardly any English and look you up and down apart from a older lady. Overall had a good stay was expecting Sunny Beach to be amazing but was rather dissapointed, downsides were the noise of the traffic, balcony, lack of excursions via Thomas Cook. Oh and not the hotels faught but the weather wasn't that good, was cloudy most afternoons and had rain the weekend. And just incase you hear rumours about muggings etc in SB it is so false we seen nothing of the kind and was out and about most days/evenings. I would recommend this hotel more for familes with young ones who want a chilled holiday sat round the pool day and night!"

Not for us!
"This hotel would be more suited to older generation. The entertainment was the same every night, bingo and quiz, with Frank doing the odd dodgy karaoke! The food was fine for the first couple of days but then got a bit sickening eating the same food every day.
Hotel was kept very clean! Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when my son got an ear infection, they were willing to get a doctor and offered medication.
The room was basic, no kettle etc. Just beware, if you use the phone in the room, you get charged even if you are not connected!!! One couple we met, spent 94 lev and only made a couple of calls back home!
The resort itself is a 10/15 minute walk away, there is a train which runs every 15 mins or so, but at busy times we found there was no room and just walked it! The sandy beach is about 5 minutes walk, (had a laugh getting caught walking through the nudist part!)
There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel, but we found that we never actually got eating a meal at the same time as they always seemed to bring the food out as its ready, so if someone gets a salad, they get that first then they've finished eating by the time everyone elses is ready!
I would go back to Sunny Beach but would go to a more central hotel!"

"Stayed in Belleville hotel on half board basis with ten other family members raging from 12 to 40, all had a brill holiday.Location of hotel was quiet but only 10 min walk to all the shops and nightlife , which suited all of us.Every member of staff was very helpful and all worked hard, the cleaners were in every day with clean towels and toilet roll. Food was what you wanted a good choice for both vegi and meateaters. Rooms were very clean and airy, bed was extra large ,bathroom was also a good size, but would have loved a kettle in the room. Had a great laugh in the hotel bar at night doing quiz,if you won you got a bottle of fizz. Frank was a great entertainer and kept everyone amused, he even made bingo entertaining. A must to do is visit the water park in near by nessebar all of us in our family party went and a great day was had by all well worth a visit worth every penny. In all great holiday, all guests very friendly We will be going back to the hotel Belleville"

Could have been betteR
"Food was not brilliant only heated and put in warmers.so the food always tasted of t c p there wasn't much choice. Our friends were sick though I am not sure if it was due to the food they had not been drinking and a child was involved. And I left our room key at reception only to come back and be accused of losing it, when in fact they mislaid it after a handy man had been in the room.no apologies or anything from them for upsetting me. I was in tears. It put me off from going back."

Would fefinitely go back
"The staff at this hotel couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. A lovely little family run hotel with a very personal feeling. Very clean and well run. Evening entertainment was great with Frank. Bingo and quizzes each night with lots of humour thrown in, just what you need to relax on holiday. Hotel is situated between Sunny Beach and Nessebar, with buses and trains travelling between the two (very cheap travel). Beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Sunny Beach itself has lots of nightlife and there are plenty of restaurants although the food at the hotel was great and the drink cheap. On speaking to other residents we found that a lot of them have been returning to the BelleVille for several years and we would definitely consider going back."

"arrived at Hotel Belle Ville early hours Saturday morning, was greated at the reception wtih friendly atmosphere. Accomodation, basic but all you need, except no kettle was provided. Food was good, choice of two or three menu's each day only fault being no free drinks been provided with meals at tea time.
All staff; very friendly and polite. Entertainment was good, but the same thing every night; Bingo and Quiz. If no Frank, no entertainment.
All in all had a fab holiday, made welcome, just be weary of the fruit people throwing plumbs outside the hotel and demanding money if you touch them and pick pockets on buses and in shops. But isn't that the same wherever you go? We have people like that in England."

Great Hotel & Excellent Staff
"We have returned from 10 nights at Belleville Hotel and wanted to say we have had a great time. The room was clean and the maid always changed the towels and bedding. The hotel location is perfect if you want to choose when to go to either Sunny Beach main resort for the party life or Nasserber via bus or walk for the quieter side of life. The staff work long hours and yet always are willing to help, advise or be available for a chat. We have never been to Bulgaria before and we cant wait to go back.... Anyone who has doubts about this hotel, location or staff don't have, for the price you pay you cannot fault it."
