Fantastic Spot on a Beautiful Island
"The Heritage Inn is located on a hill overlooking Carrot Bay and Apple Bay, the views are among the best on the whole island. The staff was very friendly, helpful and informative about places to go on the island. The rooms aren't luxury rooms, but they are large and well-equipped with kitchenettes, large bathrooms and balconies with great views. The pool is great, and the Bananakeet Cafe (part of the Heritage Inn) was the best place we ate in our 4 day stay on Tortola. We were on the island at the same time as some friends who were staying at a luxury hotel in Apple Bay, after a couple drinks and a sunset at our place they wished they'd stayed at the Heritage Inn. Great location, great service, great food, great drinks and great views... we will definitely stay here again if we return to Tortola!"

unpretensious soothing escape
"Owner Chris Washburn and her staff make limin' a soothing retreat.... not suitable or children.....great for solo or couples needing Kharma rebuilding.. Restaurant and pool bar (soul satisfying and healthy) overllook nearly 260 degree view. Clothing boutique unpretensious but fantastic value! South Beach anyone??? Awesome sunsets..#9 room simply the best..quiet and not fancy or Ritz Carleton.....it cuddles you...(surprise fairy lights in bedroom) refridgerator and other amenities equalize all :-) Great full moon parties 4 minutes away at world infamous Bomda Shack. You want glitzy smitzy go somewhere else and let us real people stay here....cable TV keeps you connected and no in room phones means no interuptions ever! We island neighbors who live in US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico love this place :-) Dan, St. John, US Virgin islands"

Best vacation ever!
"Surely the magnificant view from the Heritage Inn by itself would make a stay here worthwhile, but the small hotel is simply charming. The hotel manager Chris went out of her way to provide valuable information on good snorkling spots, restaurants etc. She especially bought a baby crib for the small baby travelling in our group. We rented two 2 bedroom apartments for 4 nights and everything was to our satisfaction. Rooms were clean and spacious with TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The only regred I have is not having the time to eat at the BananaKeet Cafe, which is right by the pool, and also offers a spectacular view of Carrot Bay. I am definitely planning to go back! Hopefully soon!"

Heritage Inn is a great place to relax!!
"We just returned from a week at the Heritage Inn. The view is awesome and the food at the Bananakeet Cafe was excellent - the best that we had during our stay. The only other dining that was as good was Bandywine Estates. We highly recommend that you give it a try - you will not be disappointed!!"

Best view on Tortola
"This is our 6th stay at the Heritage Villas. Chris, the new manager, is doing a fabulous job with running this villa in paradise. Accommodations make for a comfortable stay. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which has a fully equipped kitchen, an ample sized living room area, and comfortable king sized beds in each bedroom. The rooms are air conditioned and the cable tv was also a plus (especially for our kids who needed some "down time" every once and awhile. The Bananakeet restaurant on the premises prepares tasty dishes that you can enjoy while taking in the view.( The seafood chowder is delicious!) The pool water was crystal clear. This villa is located atop windy hill, so if you are looking for beach front this may not be the place for you. However, if you have a rental car, this is the place to be ! Try renting a power boat as well from one of the local marinas so you can see the beauty of the other surrounding islands of the BVI. ENJOY !"

"Photos on web must be 10 years old. Place is a total dive. Pool had six inches of dirty water with beer bottles floating in it. Almost deserted with a few (presumably long term residents). Could not find any manager there to check in with even if we wanted to. Had to find approprate accomidations elsewhere on the island under duress and paid full boat for the priveledge. Other reviews are either fake or from people with very low standards."

"Great location, unbelievable views, great value and Tom (the mngr) is a kick-in-the-*** as well as a great guy! Spartan interiors but very CLEAN!PS- Avoid the indifferent, incompetent, pompous owners of Cane Garden Bay Boat Rentals. No joke!"

Heritage Villas, Tortola
"We had a health emergency and got stuck in San Juan. I left a phone message with owner of Heritage Villas, Tom Lombardo, that we might not make it. Tom went looking for us at the airport, Hertz and called our home in Iowa out of concern. I'd chosen Heritage Villas for its great reviews and nice words about Tom and Fran but I never dreamed just how nice they are! We never got there but cannot wait to visit Tortola, Heritage Villas, and the Lombardos. By the way, they never charged us a dime!"

"Heritage Villas is the best kept secret on Tortola. The view is breathtaking. It is secluded, quiet and very relaxing. We spent 10 days there last Christmas and can't wait for our 13 day stay this Christmas. There is a beautiful pool, bar and restaurant on the premises so you don't have to leave if you don't want to. Tom and Fran will take good care of all your needs!!"
