"Very nice place and good restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner, international en thai food, a lot of choice). Staff very nice and helpfull. Very good massage and Sauna World is amazing Although 3 remarks: - hotel do not propose shuttle service. Hotel taxi service expensive (900 Bath) - hotel is situated is +/- 1 hour from the airport and so also 'far' from Bo Phut, Chaweng Beach - prices are high, but services and catering is very good"

"THE HOTEL IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! I'd not only recommend this hotel, but I'd urge people to stay here. It's an unbelievable hotel. The location is gorgeous! You don't feel like you're on a big touristy island because it's away from all the hectic chaos that characterizes the other places on Ko Samui... instead you feel like you're on a deserted paradise island. The staff is incredible! The staff honestly couldn't be better. They are attentive, friendly, caring, happy, and so enthusiastic in making your stay the best it can be. Making the hotel not only great but superb is the DELICIOUS food. I'm a foodie so I'm quite picky when it comes to food... but not once did the hotel's restaurant let me down. The hotel's food was sooo delicious. The prices on the menu are also very reasonable! After three months of traveling around Southeast Asia, I can genuinely say that this was by far my favorite place I stayed at. The whole experience at the hotel was amazing and I'm so glad that I decided to stay there- I couldn't have asked for a better experience there."

"Staff and Facilities Absolutely excellent, everything is very well attended to. Rooms of the highest standard. Spa was nice, but incredibly expensive if compared to average for the rest of Thailand. Restaurant Great breakfast and healthy options Pool and Beach Again both fantastic, beach is secluded to no 'hawkers' disturbing your reading! Location Great if you want to be away from it all and can enjoy the excellent Taling Ngam Hotel next door as well. However, if you want to explore the island it is a good 40 minute drive to any of the major beaches and your restaurant choices are limited if you arn't willing to spent the 600-800 baht each way to get anywhere each evening (more than the price of most meals even in the best retaurants!)"

"Stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. The pricing is good, the quality excellent and the staff were absolutely fantastic, addressing us by name from the moment we arrived and made us feel really special. It's not a big hotel and this shows in the personal touches. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Sunsets were droolworthy and they make a mean Mai Tai at the pool bar so we made full use of Happy Hour!! If we go back to Samui we'll definitely go back."

"if you visit this hotel you wont be disapointed. the service is fantastic. staff could not be more attentive. the beach is beautiful and quiet (no sellers pestering you). food is excellent and good value for money in the restaurant. breakfast is fantastic. we had a sunset jacuzzi room, payed about 10000TB for 2 nights stay (£200)...when we arrived they offered us a massive discount if we wanted to stay extra nights. we took them up on this offer and paid 6000TB total for our next 2 nights. definately excellent value for money for the quality you are getting here. so manyother places on this island charge around 3000TB per night and are nowhere near the quality of this hotel."

"Having used tripadvisor to pick our hotel, we felt compelled to write a review on our return. Then we looked at the most recent review and realised it could be the one we were about to write but it won't hurt to reiterate what has already been said. From the moment we arrived, after a forty-five minute drive from the airport, we felt at home. The Hotel Manager, Chat, Receptionist Pupae and their colleagues made us feel very welcome offering us a refreshing drink and ice cold towels to refresh us after our journey. We stayed in a Sunset room and were rewarded with some spectacular sunsets every evening. The room was spotlessly clean with the biggest bed I have ever seen, a jacuzzi bath, with separate shower and toilet. There was a tv complete with home cinema and surround sound, telephone, a well stocked mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries supplied. There was also a complimentary bowl of fruit that was replenished daily. Whilst at dinner, the maid returned to turn down the duvet and place fresh flowers and chocolates on our pillows every night. The hotel is well maintained and is surround by immaculate and stunning gardens that staff work hard to ensure are kept tidy. The hotel has an excellent restaurant offering a varied menu of Thai and Continental food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant staff were attentive and took time to explain what each Thai dish would be like and ensured that our chosen dish was to our liking, the chef more than willing to adapt it if required. It was also possible to have a romantic dinner on the beach with your own chef and waiter for the evening, they also offered room service. A varied buffet breakfast was served each morning with a choice of continental cold meats and cheeses, full English or Asian breakfast, cereals, toast, pastries, dried and fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, a selection of teas and coffee. Food could be ordered throughout the day, either at the restaurant, at the pool bar or could be served at the beach. The hotel has direct access to the beach, which proved ideal for lazy leisurely walks. The hotel work hard to keep their section clean as the tide does bring in some seaweed. The sea is shallow and quite rocky and so we paddled or sat in the sea to cool off but preferred to swim in the beautiful chlorine-free pool which we very often had to ourselves. Towels were supplied and there was never a problem finding a sunbed at the beach or pool. The hotel has canoes for use by the guests. The spa facilities are first class and at the time we stayed, there was a promotion "buy a Thai massage, facial or Indian head massage get one free". The Thai massage at 2,200 baht for two hours is a must. We felt so relaxed and destressed afterwards. The spa room is available free of charge, we just needed to give Reception an hours notice and we had free rain of the sauna, steam room, aroma and cold room and plunge pool for as long as we wanted and as many times as we wanted. The other spa treatments were very reasonable e.g manicure and pedicure at 600 baht. There are various activities that you can take part in during your stay. We really enjoyed the fruit and vegetable carving workshops with Pupae and Nung patiently instructing us in the art of carving flowers and leaves. It looks so easy when they do it! We've promised to try it at home! The hotel is situated on the south west side of the lsland and is pretty remote from the busy resorts of Chaweng and Lamai with little else around it, but this is not a problem as reception will organise a taxi should you feel like venturing out elsewhere. We were so relaxed and enjoying the peace and quiet of the resort that we didn't feel compelled to leave the complex until the fifth day of our stay when we thought that we should get out and about. Pupae did an excellent job of advising and arranging a day trip around the island which included lunch, swimming at one of the island's waterfalls, elephant trekking and a visit to an animal park. We were picked up at the hotel and the tour took in the major sites of the island and was very good value at 1800 bahts per person. We would like to thank Hotel Manager Chat, Chris, Nate at the pool bar, Pupae, Nung and all the other staff who went out of their way to make sure we had a very happy 25th anniversary holiday. We came away feeling happy, relaxed and feeling like we'd had the best holiday ever. Your friendliness and dedication to making sure that your guests are well cared for ensures that we feel very special and very much part of your "family". Thank you all for a fantastic holiday. We very much hope that we will be able to visit you again soon."

"Where to start!! On arrival to Koh Samui, we were greeted by a driver from the Ban sabai, with a warm welcome Ice cold towels and drinks. We were greeted by the hotel manager Chat, and reception staff on arrival, We were seated and given ice towels and a refreshing drink. We instantly we felt at home. Our room was very spacious spottlessly clean and had all the conviniences of home plus more ie the jaccuzi and cinema surround sound. Our balcony and room had the most wonderful sunset view. The Hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of chaweng and lamai, but still in reach should you want a night out. The lovely town of Nathon is only 10 mins up th road through lovely little villages. The Hotel restaurant is lovely with sunset view (infact every where has the beautiful view) The chef is happy to change dishes to suit your personal tastes, adding ingredients or taking them out, The food was outstanding as was the service, the restaurant manager does a wonderful job as do his staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble Thank you Chris, Mam, and Na. And thanks to Kung for teaching us how to carve fruit into flowers and leaves. The pool was lovely and clean, with a swim up bar to order your cocktails or food from Nate, i reccomend the Ban Sabai sunset and the naughty Samui monkey! Nate even made my daughter alcohol free versions so not to leave her out. The gardens are kept immaculate and the gardeners really work very hard to keep it this way, and still they have time to offer help to Laura to crack open a coconut, thanks Nek. The Beach area is quiet and tranquill, walking along the beach finding beautiful shells which had been washed up the night before. The spa at the hotel is amazing with a plunge pool, steam room, sauna, aroma cave and ice room. The spa treatments are wonderful and would reccomend the Thai massage as a must if staying here. This hotel feels personal and staff here make it feel safe comfortable and at home. I would like to thank the the reception staff for their care and kindness, thank you Pupae and Naung. To any staff i have failed to mention im truly sorry i couldnt remember everyones names. But thank you all so very much if your reading this. Chat has great respect for his staff and they for him and it shows, the hotel is the best i have visited and these staff are what makes this so. All to often we can oversee the kindness and generosity of staff whilst we sit back and enjoy being waited on hand and foot, so Thank you Ban Sabai for a wonderful experience i will miss you all."

"Just got back about a couple of days ago. Absolutely love this resort. The resort is so beautiful and romantic. Apart from the fabulous food, the extremely friendly resort staffs makes your whole holiday perfect. They are so helpful and sensitive to your needs. Example, I cut my foot in the snorkeling trip and the next thing I found a band-aid in our room a couple of hours later after they clean the room. Also, if you want something not in the menu from the restaurant, you can always try asking the restaurant chefs and they will try their best to work out something. We were so happy with their service that we cannot just stop tipping them for everything. Not to mention the wonderful spa and massages they have there. To sum it up, it is a highly recommended resort for those looking for a romantic getaway and and we would definitely go back again. Thanks also to Tripadvisor for helping us choose this hotel."

"What an amazing place to stay. The service at Ban Sabai is 1st class. The staff will do anything for you. The hotel manager gets to know every guest on a first name basis. The rooms are serviced twice a day. We stayed in the Sunset room and it was amazing. The room's facilities are superb. The restaurant is very nice and the food is ok. There is a good seectin of food, but there are also a few other restaurants near by to use. The pool is very nice and the Open jacuzzi is well worth it. The SPA facilities are amazing and well worth a visit. The prices look expensive but guest receive a 40% discount. The beach is very nice and very quiet. There is an internet room to use and there is also free use of the Sauna. The hotel will take you anywhere on the island, we were unsure about the price they charged us but it is the same as getting a taxi. We would recommed getting picked up from the airport by them. Once greeted and in the bus, we were given cold towels and water from an ice box which was very refreshing. Overall, we would definatley recommend staying here. We were so happy with our holiday and would love to go back."
