"Lets get this straight, this is not a 7 star mega palace but is a perfectly acceptable place to wash and lay ones head after enjoying the delights of this Southern Indian destination.
Lets be honest, you go to Kerala for the tropical environment, friendly people and fantastic food, not to gaze at the quality of the tiling and write a critique on the efficiency of the a/c!
The Thrushara is clean and comfortable, secure, friendly and efficiently run.
If you own a Porsche Cayenne, you and your spray tan probably won't like it, for the rest of us its just fine.

This hotel was better than we expected....
"This hotel was better than we expected. The rooms were clean and large, and the staff so helpful, and there was hot water, all though you donât need it.
The location is perfect, 2 minutes from the beach, the rickshaws and taxis.
We are already planning to go back in 2007, its a great base to explore the joys of Kerala.
The manager is very helpful and was more than happy to advise us on travel arrangements, train tickets, and when to avoid the crowds etc.
Pizzeria at the end of lighthouse beach (left) serves fantastic food and the service is great, a fantastic place to watch the sun go down."
