"This hotel is absolutely stunning.
it doesnt have a sea view, which is unfortunate, but the pool area is beautiful and we walked to the beach- it took us no more than 30 mins.
service is impeccable, rooms are spacious and luxurious. very modern as well.
if i had to go again, i'd probably stay in one of the private resorts like the leela in the south, but given that we were only there for 2 nights it was perfect."

A must stay in Goa!
"I must say that Taj Vivanta has been made with with good taste! Being the newest hotel on the block, it should soon take over a sizeable chunk of business from competition.
The rooms are well made and kept perfect - the Taj way!
There is a choice of restaurants and cafes to cater to all walks of life.
I would rate this hotel above average and not excellent as it is a business hotel!"

"Pleasant, memorable stay with all amenities for a business traveler. Centrally located in the business district of Panaji. A multicuisine restaurant,24 hrs. coffee shop, bar, travel desk, multimedia access. Comfortably furnished deluxe rooms with 24-hrs. prompt room service and commendable house-keeping. Strict security at all the levels, right from main gate upto the lifts. Ever helpful reception staff.
Enjoyed the room luxury, the variety of delectable food options for all the meals, the roof-top swimming pool, the spa and the gym,the attentive staff in each section, the overall security and the proximity to the business district of Panaji.
Shortcomings:No recreational facilities for young children. No significant view of the city/river Mandovi from the rooms.
Conclusion: Preferred place to stay in Panaji.
Would sure like to revisit/recommend."

Great Place.. Will come back.
"I had the chance to stay at this hotel during my recent trip to Goa, and I cannot stop praising the Hotel and their staff. The Hotel is fairly new and this was my first stay here. We were informed that someone would accompany us to the room and check us in there. Within 5 mins we were whisked off to our room. There was a slight mix up where we were checked into someone else's room. But the staff realised their mistake and immediately sorted it out.
The rooms are large and spacious with a full work desk, nice cozy seating area by the window, a fully stocked bar and extensive amenities in the bathroom. What really sets this hotel apart is the excellent service provided by the staff. Staff were always available without being intrusive. We decided to have a quick lunch before heading off to the airport, however the restaurant was full. We were told it would take 10-15 mins before a table would be clear. Since we didnt have that much time, we mentioned that we may just cancel the lunch plan. Lo and Behold, within 5 mins, they had set up an extra table for us and we found our table slowly filling up with appetisers while we were directed to the buffet. The food was absolutely delicious and we had all our meals there. The prices are quite reasonable. Everything worked like clockwork, like someone was working behind the scenes, plates cleared up, napkins folded, cutlery changed, all between our numerous visits to the buffet spread.
They even had a business suit picked up for ironing late in the night and had it ready the next morning.
Staff was always ready with advise on food, always asking about comfort.
This Hotel is positioned as a Business Hotel, it is not really close to any of the beaches since its located in a quiet part of Panjim. However I do see this as a nice getaway hotel. and most of the beaches are 40-45 mins drive away.
I would love to stay here again."

the only real 5-star hotel in Panjim
"Traveller BE AWARE that in Goa nothing is what it seems to be on internet. Most of their 5-star hotels cant have more than 3 stars in Europe. We've stayed in Marriot Goa, Cidade du Goa and were very disapointed.
This seems to be the only 5 star hotel build by western standards. They have nice pool on top of the roof and modern fitness centre & spa + 24 hours good restaurant.Service very good
The only problems:
you cant smoke anywhere inside the hotel.
not very nice location and no sea view but central"

"We stayed at the Vivanta in June. Had little expectations while booking as they have positioned themselves as a business hotel and ours was a leisure trip. But since we wanted to stay in Panjim and have already stayed at the Marriott once, we thought of trying out this new property.
Since we went during the monsoons, not being close to the beach did not matter and anyway the beaches of North Goa are only a 25 minute drive away..
On reaching the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the soothing and eclectic ambience and the enthusiasm and warm welcome from the wonderful staff - the service is so much better than the other Taj properties in Goa - and I hope it's not just because they are a new hotel and trying to create a good first impression.
We stayed in the suite which was spacious and very well kept - with its own espresso machine ! Being coffee addict , this was a delightful extra for me. Lovely bath area with yummy bath salts was an added plus
The health club is also well maintained - an efficient gym and my favourite Jiva spa made our stay really worth it. The beauty salon leaves much to be desired though. But that's not in my list of essentials while reviewing a hotel, so I will not let my judgement be colored by that.
Great breakfast - again better than the Taj holiday village. The bar looks interesting and so does the Pan Asian restaurant but we did not try these.
Overall it was a great experience and I can safely say that this is right now the best bet among the high end hotels for a stay in Panjm."
