Loved the Omni, Service....and all
I had booked the hotel from Snow Valley Resort (honeymoon Special) and stayed in the hotel from 22-26th Feb09.
I had got a lot of information from net about the hotel or food quality is not up-to the mark, However when i reached the hotel I was surprised to see the service the room, the atmosphere and the ambience of the hotel...This was simply marvellous.
The view from the hotel is one of the best...
One day we stayed up late in the room and did not went for dinner....the staff called us on Intercom and asked us if we want to be served in the room since the time was already past but they were waiting just for us.
The only thing is you have to shelve around 2000/- or slightly more per day.....but this amount is negligible considering the services.
For Honeymooners i will suggest this is the best place in Manali..."

Loved the ambience
"It was one of the most comfortable stays in my life. The ambience was what I simply loved. It is located about 3 km away from main town and just adjoining the river. Infact the view from my room was so beautiful, we would spend hours by the window, The service was quite good. Buffet meals were included in our package and were simply delicious. Just loved it!!"

loved to stay
"Snow Valley is an ok place to stay in Manali,The property is situated a bit above the bus stand,The hotel itself made a very warm welcome to us and specialy the cottage which was on the top.. The stay was ok, but not as great as expected. We paid Rs. 8000 for 'Maharaja' package. Unfortunately, the only 'Maharaja' out there is the hotel owner. First and foremost, there was no heater in the ...âRooms are badly maintained, Toilet badly designed....food was ok type.hotel is ok for stop overs."

A great place for much needed break..
"A great place for a much needed break. Resort was very good with all the facilities in house i.e. internet, games etc. The staff was excellent, room service was good. Though the resort is little far from the local market, but conveyance was available. Overall a good resort."

Good Budget Hotel
"Overall experience with this hotel is okay sort of.Bit interior Initially had some problem with the rooms. Some of rooms specially in the ground floor are pathetic. However the food is good.Since this hotel is in the heart of the mountains so the scenic beauty is great.Overall the best time to visit this Hotel would be during Christmas/New Year."

"It was totally disappointing stay at Snow Valley Resorts Manali. Rooms are badly maintained, the room the call a Maharaja room no way qualify to be called maharaja. Toilet badly designed....i do not understand how they expect you to use a mug with the English toilet seat, there are no nozzle. there were no towels in the room for the first day. Staff not well behaved, service poor, the front desk people directly send a camera person to my room even when told to ask him to wait in the lobby.
The only good things they have are their Food and TV."

Lovely place to stay in Manali
"Snow Valley is an excellent place to stay in Manali (if not the best). Reached at the evening, driving all the way from Shimla. The property is situated a bit above the bus stand (2km as mentioned by the property). This makes the area calm & serene ideal for romantic get-aways.
The orchard behind the property adds to its beauty. Unfortuantely we travelled during the winter. Surely during spring, the apples ehances the beauty of the orchard.
The rooms are well maintained with all necessary ammenities. A really wonderful room service even at midnight of the winter...
We were on a package with breakfast & dinner included. The food quality was edible but not something to die for.
The only low side was that we were provided with one room heater which was not enough for the time of the year i suppose."

A great resort for ramantic holiday
"We went to snow valley resort for a romanti hoiliday, the resort is situated a bit away from the city on a valley. Their are apple tree at the back of the resort. resort has all the facility like pool table, other sport and a lavish open space to roam around. The food is all nice. On can spend seven eight day comfortably. The breakfast is complimentry. The only problem is near the resort you will not find any shop."

Loved the Nature and its Surroundings
"I have Visited this Hotel in Beginning of March 2008. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible services before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel. It was so cold outside.
I stayed in Presidential suite which was wonderfully decorated as well as clean. The space of the room was also quite good. Over and above the staff was very cooperative, the pantry was so neat the clean. We enjoyed eating our food in the eating lounge with everyone. The theme of lunch/dinner every day was different till the time we were there in the hotel.
Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday. If you want to mix a little luxury with the odd trip to the parks then this is an absolute must. The location of the hotel is also very decent in pine woods with silence. Overall i love it and enjoyed it in full."

"Snow Valley Resort is one of the luxury resorts in Manali. With luxury comes price and it was one of the expensive hotels also. The rooms were very good. Clean and spacious. We had taken a duplex room and the view from 1st floor was breath taking.
Food was very good and they have good variety. Eating breakfast or having coffee from there Mini Terrace was an experience.
They provided taxi services to various tourist attractions. But again the Taxi service was very expensive. Some of the attractions are quite close by and if you are in good health you could walk to those places.
I would have appreciated this hotel more if the staff were more courteous. Especially the ones at the reception had a very serious face and hardly helped us with our questions.
Overall a good hotel to stay....expensive but nice."

Nice Hotel to stay in while in Manali....
"When in Manali, I stayed in the hotel and the overall experience was really great. I stayed for 3 nights/4 days packaged deal.
The hotel location was excellent with forest in the background. You could see the fog if you get up early and all the while we stayed in Manali, it rained making the nature at its best glory there. Awesome....
The room services were quick and very good. But the overall food quality was I'd say average.
I'd surely recommend the hotel to people going in Manali."

With a good mountain view and bad food
"I visited Snow valley hotel in Manali in May-08. for a week time
Moluntain view was very nice. Room Service I felt good. Staff is very honest. Hotel is very big as compared to other hotels. Rooms are very nice feeling relax atmosphere.
Food was very bad. Starting from breakfast ,lunch or dinner. Restrarants are far away from this hotel atleast 20-30 min walk in distance. 10 -15 min if you get Auto.
Tourist points are very nearby this hotel. Gym is not full of equipments. No entertainment is available."
