The best place to stay in Candolim.
"Casa Candolim is ideally situated in a peaceful area of Candolim, close to the beach, but only minutes away from the many restaurants, shops and .
There are two separate blocks, one overlooking the back of the beach where we stayed, and the other overlooking the garden. Both blocks have
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and from our balcony we could watch beautiful sunsets, many types of birds and wildlife and locals going about their business. The large bathroom is brightly lit and includes a bath as well as a very good shower.
The facilities alone would help make for a great holiday but the icing on the cake was the service given by the staff which was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel like royalty in their efforts to please us.Annette, Prashant, Gauri, Raju and Devidas, thank you so much.
We have stayed in Candolim many times in various hotels but this was by far the best place we have stayed in.I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Candolim to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday destination.

Feel Good Hotel
"Our first trip to Goa became a real memorable one. Its a real fun place and honestly speaking, the best way to enjoy it is to stay in a smaller hotel than a 5 star accommodation. This really gives you the `feel' of this laid-back beach Town. We stayed at Casa Candolim and let me tell you all about our stay.... We were not treated as guests but like family members staying at the owners guest rooms. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the best part we liked about our stay was that the hosts were so flexible. Any other hotel would have given us a fat bill for the extras. If we wanted to have something special for breakfast it was made specially for us and the next day the staff remembered our preferences. The staff really took much care of us at every stage. Being a small family run hotel, there was a personal touch to almost everything including recommendations on where to eat, where to go. Even the taxi drivers arranged by the hotel were really friendly and responsible. Casa Candolim is certainly setting standards in the industry and one really doesn't care about the drawbacks like power cuts, no swimming pool etc. Expect the least when you come to this small village hotel and you will really enjoy. Two other pluses. The beach was lovely and the restaurants near the hotel on the Beach Road are simply amazing for Goan as well as seafood cuisine. If you plan to move outside between 6-8 PM, be sure to put some mosquito repellent spray. The hotel
provides enough of that in the room. We hope to return one day. Five stars to this one, without a shadow of a doubt."

"Our visit to Goa was a truly memorable experience and we have to thank Casa
Candolim for creating this marvelous experience for us. They were very
caring and helped us in many ways to experience what Goa has to offer. We
saw some lovely beaches. Morji, Vagator and of course Candolim Beach, they
were all lovely. People are very friendly and nice. We had a short stay of
just 4 days but we packed in a lot of stuff, spent time on the beach, the
hotel arranged a day tour to visit the churches. I must mention here that
the hotel staff went out of their way on several occasions to see that we
were comfortable. I loved the chocolate cake and excellent coffee each
morning. One must try the FRESH GOAN Bread called Pao or Puee or something.
One also MUST walk around the quite Candolim Village to experience village
life. If you are lucky you will hear the Cockeral in the morning. Be
prepared for Power cuts, the fan and light works though. Overall a very good
experience and very warm hosts. All the Best Casa Candolim for making our

Romantic Beach Hotel
"This was our first trip to Goa and my Boy Friend and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. You get a feeling of warmth. It is cozy, peaceful and lazy. You can spend Hours just sitting in the balcony watching the sunset or strolling on the clean and very upscale Candolim Beach. Mornings and evenings are for enjoying the environment and during the day, you can spend either at the beach or take a snooze in the rooms which are very comfortable with a multi channel television, CNN, BBC, Sports, etc. The hotel serves a good breakfast and light snacks in the evening, at no extra cost. We were quite thrilled to have a FREE Internet Access in our room since my boyfriend needed to be in contact with his office. Few things about the hotel were really noticeable.....the staff went out of their way to make sure we got all that we wanted, very attentive staff. The hosts also made life easy for us by going out of their way and recommended places to eat, arranged our sight-seeing trips etc. There are some really good restaurants a few minutes walk away. The beach is just across the road and you are in the middle of an authentic Goan Village, so a GREAT LOCATION. Overall a LOVELY experience and we in fact returning to Casa Candolim this winter."

A Magical Time
"We had been to Goa few times earlier but this was the first trip during off-season and must admit it was truly magical. The place had a typical goan look-n-feel which made it all the more exciting and interesting. The rooms were tastefully done and were very spacious. Time spent at Casa was truly elating.
We were treated like loyalties as we did not have to rush for anything. We could wake up as late as possible and still the breakfast would be served to us. Whatever we needed was organized for us at anytime. Be it ordering for drinks or tidying up our rooms. Mini bar served Juices, Beer, Aerated drinks and mineral water which was all on the house.
Candolim Beach was a little walk away. We were even given our small beach kit which was specially sent for us even though we missed asking for one. Since we had gone off season there was no one around and we felt as though we had a private beach just to ourselves.
We tried a no. of restaurants/shacks as suggested by Sumir and had a gala time enjoying the goan cuisine - Sunny side up (Candolim beach), Brittos (Baga beach), Souza Lobo (Calangute beach), Mumsâ Kitchen (Panjim) were the best amongst all.
Ohhh!!! This reminds me of the amazing chocolate cake made by our host for us. I must tell you when you go there you should definitely ask Casa to treat you to this one. The cake was so spongy and soft that it just melted into our mouths.
The good news for all Casa loyalists is that a swimming pool is on the cards. Maybe the next time we go there, will be soaking up in the pool.
We give the very highest personal recommendation to this beautiful beach front called Casa Candolim. All the best to you, Sumir & Suvidha."

Casa Candolim is care and class personified
"My wife and I visited Casa Candolim, Goa during off season in the month of August as the monsoons were gradually winding up. Casa Candolim is a beautiful establishment tucked away in Candolim village and affords the resident both the natural beauty, look and feel of staying in a Goan village, while being close to all the busy and happening beaches like Calangute, Anjuna and Baga. The service at Casa is impeccable and quite possibly provides the closest sense of warmth and care as one's own home and family would provide. I would highly recommend this quaint little place to anyone visiting Goa, whether it be off-season or in-season. You will not be disappointed. I wish the folks at Casa all the very best always."

Personalized Service at its best
"My wife and I have been regular visitors to Goa but our trips are normally during the winter season, towards Christmas, when the whole Candolim Beach Road is a Carnival area. This year, we decided to go off season and experience the monsoon; we stayed at Casa Candolim. Well, honestly speaking, there is something magical about the place, it is right in the middle of one of the best Goan Villages, Candolim, small dirt roads, the Cockerel melodious noise in the early hours of dawn, the peaceful surroundings as well as the proximity to the beach. What we missed was the restaurants and beach shacks which were all closed. We thoroughly enjoyed even the power cuts at night when we were left to do nothing but hear the millions of Frogs croak in the nearby lake. Our hosts were quick to offer us some candlelight snacks and drinks in our balcony . There is a power backup so the Fan and Lights work. I would surely recommend this place to my friends and associates for no other reason than the fact that you are very well looked after. Breakfast could be as late as Noon, unlimited drinks, snacks in the evening and NO extra charges. Great place but go off season only if you decide to spend some quality time with yourself and your loved ones. Some restaurants of course serving Goan and Sea food are operational so you can depend on them and then there is a HUGE new Supermarket called Newtons, 5 minutes walk from the hotel which has loads of stuff to eat and drink."

Full Marks to this one !
"We normally use trip advisor to get reviews on hotels all over the world, even though this is the first time I am actually placing a review ! When we made our booking however, Casa Candolim was not featured on tripadvisor even though they were listed very well on the Internet. So we decided to go through their Referral page on the website located on http://casacandolim.com/referrals.htm. We were quite impressed with the reviews and each review had invariably repeated the same thing.. Personalised service, great location etc. Believe me, we experienced the same thing in our one week stay at this resort. It is right on the beach so one can wake up as late as possible ( and you will still be server a lavish breakfast !!) and stroll to the beach. Just 3-4 minutes walk, gets you to some great restaurants serving Goan food and sea food... Lobsters, crabs,
King Fish..We were quite fortunate to get our refrigerator stacked each day with Juices, Beer Aerated drinks and mineral water and there was no extra charge for all this, I wonder if this policy was only for us or for all the guests. The place is owned and run by Sumir and Suvidha who run this place with loads of passion. The staff are really great, they were always there to see if we require anything .... but at the same time don't bother you and let you have your peace, if you know what I mean. The rooms are rather large size, clean and quality linen, they are superbly air-conditioned and have most of the facilities like Coffee-machine, TV with Cable network etc.
The only thing that was not there was a swimming pool but we did not need that since we spent most of the time either on the beach or relaxing in the Open air café area of the Hotel. One last thing.... There is high speed Internet so take your laptops and blackberry's with you in case you need to be in touch with your office.
We have since, recommended this place to our friends who stayed there in March and they also had the same experience. Great going guys ! Keep it up and hope to see you this year as well."

A very pleasant and peaceful hide away
"Casa Candolim is the nearest equivalent of a bungalow on a Goa beach on the fringe of a seashore village. It has only four rooms so that by definition it cannot offer the facilities usual in five star hotels such as a spa, restaurants, a bar or the like. The rooms open directly on the balconies or courtyard so that one has the impression of living outside, which is the best way to enjoy Goa. The location is excellent since one is almost in the heart of Candolim but enjoys an un unobstructed view of the sprawling beach that extends for miles in both directions. On one side the famed Fort Aguada Taj Hotel and Resort is barely two miles away and on the other one can walk on the sand to all the other popular beaches that have made Goa famous among lovers of tropical shores. A swimming pool would be a welcome addition for some but I like swimming in the sea which is only 400 feet from Casa Candolim so that I did not feel the need for it. Otherwise the rooms offer 5 star comfort .
Personalised Service is the distinctive specialty of this hotel. Though one feels as if one lived in a family home, the care and attentions lavished by the owners and staff on guests is what makes the difference. Many small extra amenities are provided to help one enjoy the stay and get excellent value for the money. Another precious feature is the fact that Casa Candolim is not sitting right on a road and that eliminates a lot of pollution, noise and unwanted agitation. In fact it is located at the end of a footpath and behind a pond so that cars stop some 100 feet away. The feeling of rural quiet is welcome as this are of Goa can otherwise be quite busy and crowded during the high season."

In a league of it's own.
"Fortunately Casa Candolim has a very helpful website as we discovered
when looking for a suitable getaway retreat in Goa. The area is well
known as a busy and popular area for tourists of all nationalities but
we were looking for something a bit off the beaten track, with a spot
of luxury, something different from the usual type of holiday
Casa Candolim is certainly that! You begin to get the picture as soon
as you start working through their very comprehensive website and once
I discovered that every room is supplied with fast and complementary
broadband that clinched it. OK I am and IT administrator therefore
that sort of functionality is close to my heart and I do have a need
to keep connected to the outside world on a fairly regular basis.
Even if I had never owned a computer however it would have made little
difference as this Boutique Hotel as they call it, scores highly in
most every other area as well. The apartments have all the features of
a five star hotel layout but to be honest there is non of the ambiance
of a big commercial operation. All the services on offer were of a
very personal nature and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for
Of course it goes without saying that you have all the amenities you
would be expecting from the area in the form of fabulous food, sun,
sand and miles of beautiful beach plus a seemingly endless array of
interesting local and historical sites and places to visit.
So if you are looking for all the luxury of a five star hotel room
with all the personal attention and detail that can only be
experienced from a small family business then you have it all right
there at Casa Candolim. It is a unique combination and comes with our
very highest personal recommendation. We have already booked for next
year so that should say it all I guess!"

Well thought of small boutique hotel right on the beach
"A relatively new resort, we came across this hotel while surfing on the Internet. Took our chances and made the booking. The Hotel was right on Candolim Beach and our room was facing the Ocean. Peaceful location and very well thought out rooms... fairly large, clean air-conditioned, in fact they had all the luxuries of a five star hotel. No swimming pool or full fledged restaurant though but all the favorite restaurants are just a couple of minutes walk so did not actually miss that. About an Hours drive from the airport. Candolim Beach was one of the best beaches in Goa that we visited. What impressed us most was the personal attention that we received from the hosts... they were practically monitoring our every move and if we needed an extra bottle of beer or juice it was replinished at NO EXTRA CHARGE !!. Breakfast in the morning, snacks in the evening and at almost anytime you could order stuff and there was no extra charge. We went on a long day trip and the hotel made sure we got a cooler packed with aerated drinks water and Beer, this courtsey impressed us most. Have recommended this place to some friends too !!"
