"This hotel was a recommendation and I can't thank them enough. The hotel is so relaxing the rooms are excellent for us having been to goa several times this is the place to be always repeat guests that speaks volumes. Also stayed at Joets and ate there most evenings and lunch time. The owners Lynn Nelo and Selvy are brilliant all the staff cannot do enough for you. We had problems with flights came back to the hotel Lynn and Reka onto it straight away so very helpful took all the stress away from me. Thank you all so much we will be back hopefully"

Best kept secret in Goa
"Fantastic place. Been there three times already and will keep going back. Excellent food, very well appointed rooms and very nice owners. An idea place if you want to relax for a few days. There's nothing to beat it in south goa! Just one small tip: go for the air-conditioned rooms if you can!"

Fantastic for all ages.
"Coconut Creek is a fantastically situated hotel on Bogmalo Beach. It's the perfect hotel for relaxation, fun and variety. ''Goa's best kept secret'', this is what the hotel boasts and to be honest i couldn't disagree. Palm trees surround the whole site for added privacy from the outside. The rooms, which are in blocks of two, are very comfortable and simple. They contain a decent bath and shower, Cable/Satellite TV, refrigerator, tea and coffee making and a telephone which can be used for calls anywhere in the world, however phones in the local village are best for this job. The staff were extremely friendly, so friendly my Mum thought one of the waiters fancied her...hmm. Lynn and Nello, the owners, create a family-like environment which enhances the peaceful atmosphere. All of the waiters and receptionists are polite and will help you with any of your requestable needs. The pool is clean enough, except there is often small amounts of algae on the edges, nothing to worry about though. Food here is very good for the prices, but take my advice and visit the beach for lunchtime and evening meals; here the food is very genuine and even cheaper than the hotel. Top places to eat are: Joets (which is owned by Selvy, Nello's brother), Full moon, Dominic's Seafood Restaurant and various others. I myself am 15 and enjoyed everything, even though the area is quiet it is easy to amuse yourself. I often went to the beach and normally saw a waiter off shift playing football, if polite you'll be allowed to play. Beach Volleyball is also another great sport to play whilst on the beach. Watersports are available although not directly from Coconut Creek, you'll have to visit the Bogmalo Beach Resort...their prices are reasonable enough. Moving on... the village is a nice place where you can purchase soft drinks, confectionary or any other every day items. Jewellery and ornaments are available (if you're that desperate) but be prepared to haggle down the prices as they initially charge over the odds. If you really want to purchase these sort of items then take a cheap taxi from the hotel (ask for Lucky or Mario) to either Margoa, Vasco or Panjim, the ''Capital''. Here you'll find everything you might need for: presents, yourself or just for use on the holiday, for less money. Overall I enjoyed myself, and if this sort of hotel suits you then i'm sure you'll enjoy it too. So, if it's a relaxing, calm, cheap, friendly hotel you're looking for then Coconut Creek is the place for you!"

Real relaxation in a supurb friendly small hotel
"We stayed in Coconut Creek for 5 nights, after having had 5 nights in Delhi and 5 nights in Bombay. It came with a reccomendation from an Indian tour operator, who said this was the only place in Goa he would reccomend-and oh boy was he right. The setting is about 15 minutes from Goa airport, which means that, yes there are jets overhead sometimes, but not enough to be troublesome. It is run by Lyn-from Scotland- and her Goan husband Nello and a really wonderful selection of staff who go out of their way to be as helpful and accomodating as possible. The food, both at the restaurant on site, and at Joets-the beach front restaurant which is also run by the family, is truely superb. It is also terrific value for money. Fresh fish, seafood, steaks, and a really wide choice of dishes based on Italian, English as well as Indian and of course Goan cooking styles mean that you never run out of choices. The drinks are also very cheap in comparison with other hotels we stayed in-about 70p for a large Kingfisher or a spirit and mixer. The accomodation is round the pool area, and comprises of 10 two story cottages. The bottom ones are A/c whilst the top ones have fan only-the choice is yours: I know that we loved our top floor room-it had a raised wooden bed platform with a mossie net around the bed and a spacious living area and bathroom. Top quality fixtures and fittings, a fridge with a well stocked mini bar-again at "normal" not rip off prices, complete the picture. There can only be 40 guests at any one time so the resort even when fully booked never feels crowded. Most guests seem to be return visitors-one couple have been coming back twice a year for 6 years, which speaks volumes of the quality of the resort. The beach is two minute walk away, just past Joets, and one gets towels and wooden beds FOC. The sea can get a bit boisterous-good for body surfing if thats your scene. Our only gripe was that there was an issue with the pool-it went green due to technical problem, which meant that we couldn't use it for 3 out of our 5 days, but we were offered the use of the pool at the Bogmarlo Beach Resort just up the beach, including free taxi there and back. We also were given a bottle of local wine as compensation-we joked it was really the pool water-filtered ! All in all this was a wonderful place to end our visit to India-total relaxation: We will return."

I have celebrated my 60th birthday in the presences of my loving family and freinds who if they were flowers I would always pick them. I hope to celebrate my lovely wife 's 70th birthday surrounded by the same family and hand picked friends. ."

A hidden gem
"We have stayed at Coconut Creek for the past 5 years each February / March, which is just before the humidity starts to rise. After the 9.5/11 hour flight from the UK (depending whether the flight is direct from Gatwick or via Bahrain from Manchester) it's great to be sitting in the hotel 15 minutes after leaving the airport. This place is just heaven, 10 'cottages' each comprising two separate hotel rooms, mean that you can get to know everyone or no-one. the staff are fantastic, so friendly, and the owners, Lynne and Nello treat everyone like their own family. The pool is idyllic, surrounded by coconut trees, and it's only a five minute walk to the beach, where Nello's brother Selvy runs the best restaurant for miles at Joets. A beautiful crescent of a beach with a small number of shacks, and the local village just off the other end to the hotel. This is the perfect place to unwind and escape the cold of a British winter. Can't wait to go back again next year."

An Indian Paradise
"This was our third holiday in this hotel, and every time the staff go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms are generously sized, both bedroom and bathroom, and very clean. The beds are large and comfy, the bathrooms nicely set out with a large bath and powerful shower over the bath. The fridge is well stocked, and the prices are the same reasonable price as in the bar. There are also tea and coffee making facilities. All are replenished daily. The pool is free form with overhanging coconut trees, and always clean. And there are always pleanty of towels available. Pleanty of choice on the menu, although we actually don't eat there that often as there are so many other good restaurants within wakling distance, mainly along the coast road, but our favourite is Claudy's on the back road. A short walk from the hotel takes you through the coconut grove and onto the beach which is very quiet, and clean. If you want a relaxed and peaceful holiday this is the place to go, and there are pleanty of cheap taxis available to take you to other towns, or the spice plantations, evening bazaars etc."
