My haunt in Goa!
"My sister and I wanted a break so we decided to pack our bags for goa! yay! Our stay was arranged by a dear friend (who I will always thank for suggesting Beleza) so we checked out the website, loved the sound of it, made the bookings and zipped there. We reached late and cranky because the flight was delayed for over 3 hours (monsoons grrr) but the sight of the resort made us sit up and made the wait worthwhile. Beautiful villas, green plantation and the sound of the sea a stone throw away. It had a lovely restaurant (i recommend you have their prawn curry and ooh! the breakfast is awesome) and we chose to pig out there every day! We planned to do lots in Goa but we managed the bare minimum because my sis and I (being inherently lazy creatures) could not get out of the delightful room. The room was the right size and opening into a spacious hall. The space and light in the villa was splendid. It was so well done with the huge doors and windows that we loved so much that we woke up early (on a vacation!) just to lounge around in the villa. The pool was always clean and the staff polite. All of this for very reasonable a price. If I ever go again (which I am this december), Beleza is my haunt! Two thumbs up!"

"This is a fantastic resort. We were amazed by how much big the rooms were and the quality of the rooms. I have stayed at Holiday Inn and Dona Sylvia and compared to their rooms, Beleza rooms are bigger. Since we traveled with two young kids, I wanted to make sure we had large enough room for an extra mattress. Beleza room gave us just that and MORE... The pool is decent size pool, especially since other guests were not using it. The restaurant is small with limited menu but is very good. You can walk to Colva or take a cab (Rs.50 one way) where you have access to lot more eating choices. The beach access is well lit and it is as good as having a private beach. Distance from our room to beach was similar to what we had at Holiday Inn. Tina, the property manager was very helpful as were other members of her staff. I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a quiet time with your family. Suhas Kelkar, Pune"

Hotel booking experience
"This is not a review about actual stay in the hotel.. We had booked the hotel for a one night stay through travelguru. Even after our booking, the hotel had spare capacity which could be seen from the website. Due to a personal medical emergency, we had to cancel the trip 7 days before. But the hotel refused to refund a single rupee. That might be understandable. But they would not let us postpone the trip to any future dates. Any small gesture on the hotel's part would have been good enough for us.."

"A home away from home. Before goin for the trip i was in dilema whether to stay at Beleza or not, but there must be some positive vibes. Hwever i stayed at Beleza & was really stunned by the interiors, location....the only word that came out of my mouth was "Amazing"........but it took a bit of time to find the hotel as there wasnt any sign board at the crossing near Colva beach. We have had a real gud time in Beleza & Goa...... Mr. Nelson,[--],i suppose hes the Manager, is really helpful. Amazingly beautiful place to stay........ Warm Regards Vinod Bhakuni"

Just what you need to chill out and relax!
"Beleza by the beach.....is a beautiful property comprising of six or seven luxurious villas, a lovely pool and serene atmosphere. Each of these villas have three bedrooms spread out on two levels (g +1), dining and living area along with a fully equipped kitchen (including pots and pans for basic cooking needs). The rooms and the villa have modern fittings and furniture. The rooms have LCD televisions, mini bar, wardrobes and are quite spacious. The bathrooms are neat, clean and maintained very well. Each villa has its own deck or balcony. Some of the villas open out into the pool area. If you are lucky and go in off season then you get the whole villa to yourself. The staff is very helpful, courteous and efficient. The food, mostly on the north indian side is delicious. They have one restaurant called Tentacao where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. The resort doesnt have a beach of its own, but the nearest beach is colva which is a 3 minute drive. The resort will be able to drop you to the beach and u can easily get an auto back to the resort for rs 50 or so. Around colva beach you have cafe coffee day, a food joint called kentuckee and a lot of other small shops. A great beach to go to would be Cavellosim which is 18-20kms away from beleza. All in all beleza is really a wonderful place to go to.........!!!"

"Stayed for a week with a friend at Beleza and we were very nervous about how it would turn out to be. The resort's reps were there to pick us up from the airport on time and it took about 40 minutes to reach the place. We hit Colva and the journey seemed never ending where the roads got narrower until we came to a dirt track. By now we were really wondering where we were headed. The gates of the resort opened and we saw one villa after another along with another super swank villa on the left. We were taken to the reception where payment was made for the stay. The resort seemed okay so far. Our luggage was picked up and we were taken to villa A-1. The moment the keys turned and we were inside my friend and I looked at each other in disbelief! The villa was awesome! To think that I got a deal of around 2500 bucks a night for this place was unbelievable. The manager, Mr. Nelson Monteiro is very accomodating and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. The split level villa has a room downstairs along with the open kitchen and bar, dining room and a lounge area. The kitchen is stocked with utensils etc. so that you can cook yourself/ your family a meal if you want to. They have a refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, microwave, mod. gas stove w/ chimney etc. The wooden furniture is tasteful and the decor is very pleasing. One climbs a flight of stairs to the next level where there are 2 rooms and a lounge area. The third level takes you to the roof and a kind of attic, but this is where you get a view of the Colva beach and the sea. Unfortunately, this view is not available from the rooms as the resort owner's (I am told they are from Delhi) swanky villa blocks the view. One can book a room or an entire villa if its a family in question. Our room on the second level had a decent balcony and an indecently large bathroom! We fell in love with the glass shower enclosure and the comfortable to the hilt mattress! The room was spic and span and the LCD tv was just at the correct height for late night tv viewing from the bed! The bamboo mats that covered the window blended in very well with the other decor of the room and the cleanliness blew us away! Service was great. Breakfast is complimenttary although choice is limited. Their swimming pool is great and soaking in the sun at their pool is a natural alternative if one does not want to go out. The resort is very private and new. It opened on January 15, 2009 which is why we got a good deal. I can see this hotel charging rates of 6 grand a night very soon. I am so glad I stayed here! There is no transport available outside the hotel gates although the hotel will arrange it for you if required. Anyway, we all rent bikes/cars when we stay in Goa, so that is not an issue as you get them at Colva beach. The nearest decent eating joint is Tate's in Colva, but they only take orders for food uptil 11 PM. After that you might get a drink, but no food, not even peanuts to munch on! Now comes the best part about the resort - it has its own private access to Colva beach! So you can take a stroll whenever you want at night and its perfectly safe! The greatest about this is that it gives you access to the cleaner part of Colva beach that is not so commercial. Walking under the stars while listening to the waves was only possible because of Beleza!"

Spacious Villas with large rooms and modern facilities
"Beleza comprises modern villas right on Colva beach in South Goa. The villas have three rooms, two lounges, a swimming pool facing portico and a kitchen (equipped with modern amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle etc. It makes a perfect place for a holiday in goa with family or a group of friends. Beleza is located on a clean beach, has easy access to good restaurants, is baby friendly, has a great swimming pool and is real good value for money. During my stay, we hired a whole Villa to ourselves (they do give out on a per room basis as well). The kitchen in the villa is particularly helpful if one is traveling with a baby. What I liked most about the place was the fact that you could rent out a whole villa, even for a short duration. The access to the beach and proximity to good restaurants and shacks is probably one of its best points. You get all the peace, tranquility and cleanliness of South Goa without feeling isolated."
