3 star hotel with 5 star attitude
"Stayed here with a mate for NYE 09/10. Prices were quite reasonable considering it was the peak period. This hotel was great value for money. Rooms had beautiful decor, regularly cleaned, bathrooms were nice. Restaurants at the hotel had great food, and the buffets were fantastic - and you could eat overlooking the pool. Bar in the pool was great - could sip cocktails sitting on seats in the pool. Great service. Location was good - just 10 min walk to Baga beach, and so close to all the shopping in Baga / Calangute, and a taxi to all the hot spots in Anjuna. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend."

Great play to stay...true value for money!
"Baga Marina has a lot of pluses, the biggest one being its proximity to baga beach and the hottest hangouts like Goa's most famous club Titos, the night bazar and the most popular restaurants. Some of the other good things about this hotel are its great food, excellent service and economical mini-bar (a pint of beer for 50 bucks right in your mini-bar). If one gets too tired of hanging out at the beach and needs a break from the crowd, one can enjoy a romantic dinner over the hotel pool side. On thursdays, they have a live band on the poolside- basically old hindi songs, which is a welcome change after all the clubbing in Goa. Being a hard-core non-vegetarian, I seldom eat veg when holidaying but I tried it here and surprisingly found it as good as non-veg. The hotel, including the pool is clean and well maintained and is preffered by a lot of international travellers. So if you are planning a holiday in Goa, do consider staying at Baga Marina."

Lovely, peaceful place
"This is a great place to stay with family. Its a small but cozy resort, very well located. Its near to the Baga beach, 10 mins walk and still very peaceful. A lot of lanes to shop around are nearby, a few mins walk that also lead to Baga beach. I stayed with my family and enjoyed the stay very much. Hope they maintain the same standard of service!"

Very well run peaceful hotel
"Like most hotels in GOA this one is quite deceiving as you have to go down a side street and pass through a "local" block of apartments, once inside however you enter a very nice facility with all rooms facing a well manicured central section that contains a swimming pool, pool bar and seperate Italian Food restaurant, which i thought was very good food. Baga Marina is about 600 yards from the beach and about 200 yards for the main Baga road that contains all the shops and bars. If you are looking for a good bar and restaurant head to Brittos which is at the end of Baga Beach. Saturday night market also provides good entertainment."

Good Hotel but average food
"I would rate it as 3 star and not 4 star. Multi-cuisine food is not made available to guests who are on package tour. Only punjabi same type of menu was given for whole 4 days. Even no change in breakfast, lunch or dinner for 4 days, in spite of request to the chef. I called and mailed to the hotel to confirm my booking, but I got very rude answer from the the manager of the hotel (Samir Ray) and the sales manager (Benedict). Very unprofessional. Service and staff is good. But food menu is same (punjabi) and boring if you are staying for 3 or more nights package. Location is quite away from the beach if you go by walking. Sightseeing is not comfortable as they book the bus-travel-agency-sightseeing for whole day at cheaper cost. No feedback taken from customers for improvement."

"I booked this hotel based on the review here and was pleasantly surprise when I arrived. The chek in was smooth and quick, the staffs were friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect considering the price I paid comapred to Mumbai. The location was ideal, 10 minutes walk to the beach (although I can't recommend the beaches), near several restaurants, and just off the main road. The room was spacious and has a balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well maintained. I was there during low season and the price was very good, including a buffet breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Well the stay was perfect. I was with my wife and a 3 year old child. Enjoyed every aspect of my holiday. The hotel is nice and rooms are well done. Swimming pool and Sunken Bar is great. Breakfast was good. Staff was very charming and courteous. Location wise hotel is at a walkable distance to Baga and Calangute Beach. Being offseason, hotel was 20% occupied but was good. Only one minor negative point. There were red ants in the balcony and at times on room furniture. When i asked about this with hotel, they said that it is a common problem in goa. Otherwise everything was good. Will stay again there."

"stayed here from 7th feb for two weeks, and to say the least beacon court more than exceeded our expectations. booked "blind" through holiday nights with no reviews and no idea on what to expect. nestled around 100yards away from baga main street which is full of good restaurants and bars, but a total oasis of tranquillity. ROOMS: (we had the deluxe pool view in main building) the rooms are very chic, with egyptian cottton sheets and silks. the glass bathroom is also very trendy (however do not dispair, there is a blind!!), nice 32" lcd tv with many english speaking channel's, mini bar which really is not expensive , but double the prices in bars locally. cleaned daily and cleaned well, no problem with towles, changed morning and on evening turndown!. BREAKFAST: was expecting a typical indian eggs and bread , but instead offered choice of cereals, eggs, breads, pancakes, pastries, indian selection, tea coffee, juices etc etc, all very good. all in all this is a very good hotel and deserves 4+ stars in any country, the staff are very friendly, the setting is great, just far enough away for peace and close enough to party. cannot wait to go next year (highly recommend kingfisher airways from lhr - goa too)"

Beautiful Rooms, Great Pool, Yummy food
"For our family trip of 5 women & a baby, Beacon Court was great. The location is superb right in Baga street, there's Cafe Coffee Day and plenty of nice restaurants buzzing outside. The Baga beach is a good walk away suggest you take a ride out to get there. Beware they do not have an in-house doctor or doctor on-call and they are mighty stingy on towels. Rooms - Recommend staying on the top floors as its a great view of the pool below. The rooms are spacious, clean nice sheets with a lovely teddy bear lying around! Nice attached balcony with coconut trees streaming in. LCD TV and a transparent bathroom wall makes this a great option for couples. ;) Hot water easily available. We were not happy about the towels though - they seem stingy on replacing them - if you're out there in a big group please beware! Food - they have an amazing rooftop rest Merry Crab looks fabulous like mini haciendas! Indian food served is good. We brought in my gran's bday there and staff were very accomodating to help in celebrations. Very romantic place. The rest. below where buffet breakfast is served is alright. Room service menu is not extensive. So for an emergency hunger pang I recommend eating in, else outside food is way better. Staff - most were helpful and very sweet. Esp Jonathan at the pool bar who was always smiling and was happy to answer our silly questions on sight seeing in Goa. They have a Spa too, the Ayurvedic consultant there gives free 'pulse' readings and he's really sweet too. We weren't very happy with the manager tho - we had a medical emergency at the hotel and he did not help as much as we would have liked him to. The best part about the hotel is the pool - its totally gorgeous, with a bar and sunken bar stools and a waterfall to match. Would definitely recommend this place for a small family or couples. Please don't go there with old people as they don't have proper medical facilities."
