wow what can i say
"on arrival we were taken to large comfy seats by the hotel manager and then given a large cold drink while we were being check in he then explained all about the hotel outside the hotel is not up to much but inside its a whole new world pool area is lovely and clean plenty of sun loungers the beach also had lots of sun loungers so no need to get up early we had a standard room it was nice and clean but pay a little extra for a sea view gardens are lovely there are 2 resturants one at the main reception and one on the beach end there is plenty of food for everyone my favourite was the pannini /burger bar on the beach drink wise I found the local beer really nice and I hav never came across an allinclusive hotel that serves you champaigne"

"Food is amazing the beach restaurant served soup, chips chicken in a sauce, beef in a sauce, fish, salad, pasta , cakes , ice cream. there is also a pizza bar & a wok bar, Panni & burgers all on the beach. you can also help yourself to soft drinks, coffee, & beer. the beach is amazing & plenty of shade if you want it. the pool was small with very little sunbeds. but we did the beach everyday. the restaurant at night was very good too, with a variety of food lobster was on the menu 1 night, again you could have chips , soup, veal in a sauce, chicken, fish etc the puddings were to die for ( it was a shame that they had to be cut & eaten.) the wine kept coming !! every time a bottle was finished it was replaced. you could have champagne as well which was nice.the entertainment was good but we chose to sit in the bar & have a drink because it was rather warm outside. the barmen are fab they come & ask what your drinking all the time, you don't have to move off your chair only to go to the toilet. the beer not like our beer so ask for a sprite to make a shandy, we drank cocktails which were good, just ask what you like & they will make it up for you. the rooms are cleaned every day with clean towels. you get 2 green beach /pool towels which are supposed to last you for your holiday we found some spare around the pool one night so put them in your bath & you will have clean one,s ( put dirty towels in bath the maids know that they need replacing)"

Visit to Paradise
"This hotel CANNOT be faulted. Eight of us visited Les Oranges for 1 week in April 2012. Our party included 3 elderly relatives in their eighties and two teenagers. We All loved it!! Surroundings are enchanting with masses of flowers and orange trees with wonderful smelling blossom. Rooms in low rise small buildings set in the gardens. The food was delicious and the choice never ending.
The staff are amazing and just cannot do enough for you . We love and miss them all. Hope to see you all soon. "

great wee place
"8 of us scottish females stayed here a week in september 2011 we had so much fun. food was average but you always found something to satisfy yourself with. beech was lovely plenty of beds and people trying to sell stuff. we mostly lazed round the pool all day the waiters bring your drinks whenever you want him to. a wee hint to you tip the wee guy that reserves the sunbeds that way you will have the same bed all week . we only went out 1 day to yasmin hammamet but it was quite an experience t hey try con you into ther shops then its hard to get away from them and they can be aggressive if you dont buy anything we all stayed together to try and avoid them. take a taxi if you going out its very cheap we all got the bus it was 40 dinar but on way back we booked 2 taxis it only cost us 5 dinar.daytime entertainment was fun french bowls darts and archery nighttime was a variety the team are a good bunch and we had good laughs with them. all in all we had a fun relaxing week

Lovely location but too loud music, rude reception staff and no swimming after 7pm
"After having stayed at this hotel I am surprised at how good the other reviews are. The beach is great but the hotel itself is distinctly average. I would only recommend staying here if you want to hear 'Agadoo' and Celine Dion's entire back catalogue played every day at a volume which could make your ears bleed.
The plus points were the nice lunches at the beach-side restaurant, the lovely beach and the excellent bar and waiting staff. The Tunisian wine included in the package was perfectly good too. The food was hit and miss.
The downsides included the thumping music which we could hear from our bedroom and the fantasically rude reception staff, the like of which I have never seen before - for example, when my partner called to book a wake-up call on our last night they barked something at him in French, a langauge he doesn't speak, before hanging up on him. Twice.
There is an unpublicised rule that you cannot swim in either of their resort pools after 7pm, which I wish we had known before we booked. The manager told us it's because the chlorine is added then by a computerised timer, which later turned out to be untrue. He also told us if we wanted to swim in the evenings we could let him know earlier in the day and he would delay the timer. This also turned out to be untrue as we then spent three valuable afternoons getting in touch with him, to say we would like to swim that evening, only for him to tell us every time that the answer was no and to ask again another day. A bizarre and frustrating experience!
It is also worth noting that the inclusive 'a la carte' meal is of the same standard as the buffet food, just served to your table.
I doubt we'll be back.

HOW IS THIS NOT 5 STAR!!!!!!
"this hotel should be 5 star i personally cant see why it isnt. i got back 3 days ago and im so depressed, me and the mrs are already looking at booking for next year with friends this time as its such a fantastic place. VERY child friendly all the staff are excellent especially the activity organisers and entertainment staff absolutely brilliant rooms cleaned every day by friendly ENGLISH speaking staff, food choice is great only problem was no bacon for breakfast but so much other choice you wont care. i strongly recommend going to this particular hotel as its probably the best place ive been even the locals are so friendly and nearly everyone can speak fluent english weather above 30c everyday and always asked if we want to join in or if we need any drinks. the mrs and i took money thinking we was going to need it, we ended up spending around £100 between us 40 of which was on souvenirs the rest on tips as were so generous haha but on a serious note if anyone has ever bad reveiwed this they must be mental or royalty this is the second time ive been and both times nothing less than 5 star treastment. MUST GO THERE"

"Where do I start. I got back from Tunisia last night and well and truly have the holiday blues. Not because I have to go back to work and the sun isn't shining as brightly in England as it was in Tunisia but because of the fantastic time I had at Les Orangers Hotel.
The hotel is amazing and the pool/animation team are fantastic. Mido is on the go all the time but isn't too much so if you don't fancy it he won't hassle you. You have Bryin you comes round offering Archery who is brilliant and they are always there to help with a smile too.
The whole hotel cleanliness was amazing and the waiters around the pool were top-notch and always on hand to get drinks etc...tips is a must and a few dinar is really appreciated and not a lot out of your pocket for the amazing service.
I would happily go to this hotel by myself as everything you need is on site, you don't get hassle at all and there are a few shops just outside of the hotel which is a lot less hassle then the Medina in Hammamet, if you want to go shopping I would recommend going with a rep instead of jumping in a taxi as the shop owners are quite grabby and a little intimidating.
The food was also amazing and with three a la carte restaurants on site as well as the main 'serve yourself' restaurant, there is plenty to choose from. Fresh everyday with an omelette bar at breakfast which was a perfect start and then the crepe man by the pool in the afternoon was a perfect snack!! The massages were also included and although 10/15 minute sessions it is a great way to end a day.
Cannot fault this place at all and I cannot wait to get back there, for the price of the hotel and what you get you really can't complain. At the same time, I don't want to tell too many people as it felt like my own personal paradise for the week - very sad to leave! :(
The 'would you recomment below' didn't say which tick box was yes and which was no so if I have checked the wrong one - it is a YES YES YES to recommend!! "

Great post winter holiday
"We have just returned from 2 weeks at Les Orangers and had a lovely holiday. We had a beautiful room with a sea view. The staff are all so friendly and helpfull The food was always very good and the choice of sweets were great. We did'nt always go for lunch because we got so settled on the beach. As you are allowed to take food out of the restaurant at breakfast we used to take a couple of rolls with cheese for a picnic on the beach. The beach bar is still not open but there was a tent where you could get drinks from. We only went to the entertainment room once but it was not very nice. It was quite dingy and didn't smell very good. We went into Hammamet one day in a taxi (4 dinar) we didn't like it much. We went to Yasmine Hammamet another day (5 dinar) and that was very nice. We got free beach towels that always smelled fresh. The dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch. Overall we had a lovely holiday now it's time to diet after all the extra food."
