"What a great place to stay! The crocodile farm was great fun - even if the crocs look stuffed from all that free food! Sun City is a manicured resort with lots to keep the little ones (and the big ones) happy, but most importantly the resort allows a comfortable stay on the doorstep of the Pilansberg national park. We took our two year old son and thanks to the set up of the resort were able to benefit from great restaurants and day time activities plus the chance to drive round the malaria free game park until we had (almost) had enough. If you want to take young kids on safari then this is the only way to do it. My son will visit the Kruger one day, but for the time being a querky stay on a crocodile farm close to the attractions of sun city and on the doorstep of an accessable area of natural beauty will do for us!! - could have done with an extra room mind you.... Oh, and the drive from J'Berg to Sun City is a whole other adventure!!"

Perfect! Stay here rather than the hotels!
"We found the hotels in Sun City a bit expensive, so we opted for the Kwena Chalets. It's a great place to stay, its only a short distance from the Sun City centre but its much quieter its actually nicer to be here I think. We got a great deal, 2 nights bed and breakfast for â¬170, which is very cheap compared to what we were quoted for the Sun City hotels. Very friendly and helpful staff, superb breakfast and very good rooms. Would definitely recommend it."

"What a superb experience! Nestled amongst the chaos of Sun City... an oasis. The room was simple but lovely and had a well appointed bathroom. Very comfortable bed and a fold down couch that was great for our 5 year old. Had a great shuttle service to get us to all the business of the reort. Breakfast was fabulous - small selection when compared to the extravagance of the bigger resort hotels. But who needs 30 different hot selections!? Offered an omelete or English breakfast daily and a nice selection of breads, cheeses, juices, etc. Got to watch baby crocodiles wake up and monkeys play. Watch out for baboons - they are down out of the hills due to the drought, but that was a fun experience - dodging wild animals (with the staff's help) on our way to breakfast. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMEND!! We booked again for August!"

Fantastic place to stay
"We're stayed at Kwena Chalets in February '07 for three nights, bed and breakfst, which was just wonderful. Chalets are clean and well kept. Hospitality was friendly and helpful. regular buses to/from Sun City - no charge. Free access into Crocodile park. Everything was perfect, will definately return."
