A nice place to stay
"I spent one week at the hotel. The 5 star rating applies for the hotels in Morocco, not the States or Europe. But , the hote room was very clean, and the room serivce was very good. Some ammenities (i.e. bath robes, iron) that would be found in a 5 star hotel (in Europe/USA) are missing;but, overall very nice place. The pool is quite large and is clean, contrary to what other peole have written about it. But there is a shortage of pool towels (but not a major issue). The sevice in the restaurants is good and and the food is ok. We had the buffey lunch when we arrived as it was around 2 and we hadn't had a chance to findout out eating places. While the choice of food was alright, the 350 Dm plus drinks per person was a little steep---but you live and learn. The pool restauant was more in line with food versus cost. The overall look of the grounds and the up keep is very nice. I would recommend it to anyone."

Poor service and value
"Very poor service. The hotel is out to squeeze as much from you as they can get. Example - if you want to bring in a bottle of water, better put it in a bag concealed. You are officially REQUIRED to purchase all your water from the hotel at 5-10 times the rates on the streets. Also, want to be harassed? Just walk out the front door of the hotel and you too will have the opportunity to be personally harassed by an "official" guide provided by the hotel. One of these guides actually shoved a guest when they refused to pay the outlandish amount requested by the official guide. The food is mediocre at best. DO NOT GO HERE."
